http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...one-an-excellent-job-of-getting-the-job-done/ Martin's officially nabbed the primary backup spot for the 49'ers which means that condition has been met. Good on Hickey for getting anything out of that cluster____.
I keep telling my niner fan friends that they'd better hope Martin never sniffs any playing time. They laugh like I'm joking..... poor bastards
It wouldn't be the first time that better coaches have taken someone we have gotten rid of and gotten good play out of him.
Well everything I read about his play out there told me he is still a revolving door So I dont see where his play has improved much, if at all. Glad we got something for him, kudo's to the new front office for that.
You have to remember that he conpletely lost the respect of his teammates here. There is no way he could have stayed, and even if he becomes an average player someday it doesn't change that fact. We were lucky to get anything for him.
Someone will pick up Incognito. There will be guys that dont perform or get hurt and that will open the door for him. It just wont be us. He already has the leagues blessing.
If I wanted to sabotage the 49ers I would buy the house next door to Martin's and give it to Incognito and his family...
In order for the sabotage to work, you'd have to replace San Francisco's organization with Miami's. It's funny how much people underrate context for nearly everything that happens.
Considering I dont think anything happened here that doesn't happen in most NFL locker rooms, I dont think it matters.
To be fair though, it appears the 49ers are doing a damn good job of sabotaging their OWN team (felony domestic violence on a pregnant woman in the news today...with other 49ers present).
Yeah, Martin wasn't a bad player...it was the other issues that caused this. He did have a few horrible games but he was also suffering from a mental breakdown.
What the hell is going on over there...I'm not sure Harbaugh is committed to the cause..I don't blame him if that's the case..they took his power.
