Starting Moore is bad idea. You're basically raising the white flag on the QB position because Moore is just not the answer. Just give Tannehill the entire year so we can know for certain. He was a lot better in the second half, despite that terrible first half.

He looked great the second half. He should have finished the game with four touchdown passes. The drop by Sims was an easy TD and so was the drop by Clay, he had green pastures ahead. Six if you want to blame Wallace and Miller on their near TD's but I don't.

The haters I don't think realize how big a win this was for the Dolphins...most "experts" predict the Patriots to go to, if not win, the Super Bowl this year. Their defense is beefed up from last year...and Lazor just diced 'em up w/o breaking a sweat.

    MONSTER win!

With 3 turnovers, at the end of 3 quarters, we could've been up 40:20 if RT hits Wallace twice and Clay in the corner. Unreal, O was a sight to behold.

Totally agree, but don't forget to give kudo's to the play of the young LB's. They stepped in and provided the defense with some of the best linebacker play the Dolphins have seen in several years.

Bottom line is they could not stop our offense all day either we made a huge mistake or scored. So are all fancy they're better than we thought or their defense really sucks

Cowher said on the post game show "Not pretty, but he made plays on the day when he had too".

The win. That's all that matters. The fact we ended the Pats opening day win streak 1 shy of our record was sweet too.

Eh Tanne wasn't great, but he was better in the second half - his receivers had some big drops. Would like to see him ratchet it up as the season goes along, but to call for Moore at this point would be insane, that would be an admission of a lost season. After this win, we are flying high, not waving a white flag.

3 turnovers make it a pretty win? Is that like the rotten cherry on top of an otherwise really good cupcake?

That was an ugly win, to me. Far too many mistakes.

Crazy Game! Great feeling after that win.... Loved seeing Brady's Tears! Can't believe we only allowed the Patriots 31 yards up until their last drive...unheard of.

Serious question though, should we explore trading Pouncey? What could we potentially receive?

Our second half play qualifies it as a good win. Not ugly or beautiful. Also two of the three turnovers were just fumbles on great hits.

Not happy with Tannehill overall today but alot of QBs are rusty in the first game. Look at Brady today. So I'll give him the season to work out the kinks in this new offense. Lazor looks like a hell of a hire along with the Moreno signing. I'm excited for next week.

Agreed , mistakes were plenty , lots to correct , but lots of positives too , uppermost is the WIN .

OL and Moreno deserve a big game ball as well as the DL.

I'm not saying it wasn't a good win. Is any criticism of the team now moot because they won?

I said they have a lot of stuff to clean up. Maybe they don't. Let's just rely on the defense and Moreno to carry us all the way.

You got to be damn happy when you turn the ball over 3 times and still score 33 points. In Lazor we trust.

I feel you. I'm ecstatic. I just want to see improvement. This might be a best-case scenario, because they won by double digits and still had a lot of crap play. That's all I was saying.

We can win it all with this system, maybe not this year, but we are really close, QB needs to improve.

RT's confidence should grow, and he will improve. One thing I really liked today from RT is when he rolled out and there was nothing there, he threw it away. That's what Wilson does, that's what winners do. He was generally hard to sack.

No we can criticize. I just always have an easier time criticizing when the team plays poorly in the second half than when they adjust and dominate. I agree they can't play like they did in the first half and expect to win games like this. I'm just not angry about it because they adjusted and won.

Not saying you are wrong, just saying it was a good win.

Pouncey needs to come back and play RG. That would make the line really strong. I'm hoping that the LB core by the end of the year is:

    Jenkins (Nickel)
    Tripp (WLB)
    Misi (MLB)
    McCain (SLB)

It's funny how our linebacker play improved as soon as the starters were out. Great win, let's do it again next week!

When Tannehill realized he has 4.5 speed and its okay to run sometimes, we are going to be a force.

Great win, I'm am pumped. A competent offense is all I ever wanted. Looks like we have one.
