I enjoyed our play calling for once so I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season now. A lot easier to play defense when you can string drives together.

Brady was shown sulking on the bench. Didn't see him go out on to the field.

Should be interesting to see how they handle the LB competition. Misi played alright but if you have the chance to put more of a natural LB crew together that changes things. Put it this way:

    - If you've got Jenkins protected at WLB and not getting washed out
    - Tripp with enough protection inside at MLB
    - McCain doing it all at SLB

That's a really strong LB group

Agreed. We're never going to agree with everything they do on offense (such as fade routes, etc.), but the overall feeling is that the offense is going to be a lot more entertaining this year.

Odd, losing Irish's last 2 huge mistakes is no big deal. Wheeler and Ellerbe...hell, and Misi, are better off on the sideline. Keep Jenkins and McCain in the rotation! As long as Delmas and Finnegan can stay healthy and keep active, this is some force to recon with. Curious to see how Jordan will fit into an already awesome dynamic.

And all you smug MFers, acting like Bellichick with your "we need to improve this or that"....pipe down and enjoy the damn moment. Stop acting unimpressed. This was an orgasmic victory.

Ya I don't know Misi played inside. Definitely Wheeler and Ellerbe were not missed even with their new positions.

The ability to get rid of Ellerbe and Wheeler's salaries would be huge. How did Smith play at RG?

I think it is too early to be discussing trading Pouncey. The OL has to go up against the Bills defense next week. They proved to be a tougher defense for the Dolphins offense last year than the Patriots.

So I would put any thoughts of trading Pouncey on hold until this OL actually plays against a quality defense. At this point in the season, the Patriots just don't look like they are a very good defense.

I think the problem with Wallace and Thill are going to cost this team in the long run. They are dysfunctional and it is both of them... What we saw today from Thill was what I was talking about earlier. Thill is a journeyman QB right now that is going to give you this maddening type of play. He will follow a bad play with a good and a great one with a total head scratcher.

Even with all their problems today the offense put up 33 points even though the defense setup a short field a couple times they still punched the ball in. Something they have not done in the past.

No mention of Brandon Albert but that's a great thing. James has the tough matchup next week let's see how he does.

Trying to wash away the taste of FinD, eh... try vinegar. Rocky swears it helps with the after taste. :shifty:

What two plays are you talking about by Wallace? He had one drop... The ball out of bounds in the end zone was on Thill 100%. I know everyone want to blame Wallace for the but it was a ball throw.

i have like the rest of us been on cloud 9 since the end of the game, seeing how physical that defense was and seeing an oline that played very well and such a good running game today i just can't help but feel like the dolphins can do some special things going forward.

Fins won by 13 points.. Ugly first half but man they played a damn near perfect game in the second half. That was in no way shape or form an ugly win.

That was the most dominate second half of football I can recall the dolphins playing in a long time... Long time...

Had two but could of had five with better ball placement. The int was a td the he missed by ten yards, the sideline incomplete was thrown to the wrong side. No way wallace makes that catch no matter what the Wallace bashers say. The sims drop was a perfect pass.

I don't agree that's it's 100% on Tanny. I think the ball could have been thrown better, but I kept thinking that a top receiver makes that catch, knows where the sideline is and keeps his feet in.
