http://footballgameplan.com/football-gameplans-2014-nfl-week-2-preview-dolphins-vs-bills/ Good morning Dolphins fans! Good luck this week! Em
Em..loved the break down.... But do you really see the Bills offensive line vs our defensive line as an advantage for the Bills? Chicago's defense against the run is horrible. Im not sure the Bills will have the same success against our front. I also dont agree that Emmanual Stewart is a better QB at this time then Ryan Tannehill ( I know surprise there). Ryan Tannehill graded out with the third highest PFF ranking this week.
I was gonna watch the video until I saw that you think EJ Manuel is better than Tannehill and that you think the Buffalo Oline has the advantage vs our dline
Yeah, don't agree with either points either. Our front 4 is top 5 in the league as of this moment and we have a top 3 DE in Wake facing a 7th round rookie, honestly don't see how the Bills have an advantage there...
sometimes enjoy these breakdowns. but wasn't this the guy that stated that CJ Spiller was the next great all-pro running back?
Dude...ALLOT of people thought CJ Spiller was the next great running back. In fairness...he ran allot harder on a bum ankle last season then most people could have walked on it.
yes, but this guy was putting him on a pedestal that was far and above most everyone else's sentiments. and I was not one of those people who thought CJ was the next great running back. If he was all-pro, he wouldn't be sharing as many carries with Fred Jackson. not saying he isn't good and exciting, but not a franchise back.
I did not see anything from the Bills that is worrisome. Manuel has better feet and is harder to bring down, but as a QB he is not better. Bills manage him tighter than RT is managed. Neither QB runs even tho they line up as a threat. When Manuel runs, he runs for the sideline, he does not scramble. Manuel's passes are predetermined on well designed one on one matchups for quick release, they don't ask him to go through progression like Brady where you have a chance to sack him because he stands in the pocket. So Dolphins should have a harder time getting to Manuel, but they should be able to pressure him more than the Bears did. Which brings me to Dolphins DL versus Bills OL. This is clear advantage Dolphins DL. Bills OL is similar to Pats OL. Dolphins DL will dominate even though the results will be lesser than against the Pats because Bills have tougher runners and get rid of the ball quicker. This year, Dolphins DL will dominate every OL.
That's your opinion, which is fine. CJ Spiller can't control not getting the ball. You see the same thing with Reggie Bush everywhere he's been. But I digress Anyhoo.. the biggest matchup I see the Dolphins being able to exploit is the RBs in the passing game. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see them targeted more in this matchup vs the Bills 2nd level defenders
Em...Im in a PPR league..can start Lamar Miller or Reshad Jennings..reading what you just said..would you Miller?
That's crazy talk. I thought our D-line was a top 5 unit. Buffalo must have one of the best 3 or 4 O-lines in the NFL then. Why take the time to makes the videos if it is laughable.
I'd say go with Miller.. The Giants 'may' get Beckham back and that'll mean less catches for the RBs. Plus, it looks like they'll start working TEs more
