I'm not defending anything. The OL and the QB were both bad last year. I have no problem acknowledging that. There seem to be many that choose to defend the bad QB play however.

Another question...it'd been well established that Tannehill was top five in the league for getting rid of the ball quickly. If you're saying that the majority of his sacks cans after 2.5 seconds, I'd argue that it speaks even worse of his line. When Tannehill had a play that required his line to hold blocks, they simply couldn't do it, and Tannehill had pressure around the ends and up the middle.

 

Ya and according to PFF, RT was the #5 QB in the NFL last year...and is sitting at #7 this year with 1 less game than a few above him. Like any other QB, there are things he does well and things he doesn't do well.

How do you discern between their rating of him and your statistical judgement?
