All over twitter too. Hyde Dolphins announce Knowshown Moreno was placed on injured reserve with ACL injury. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
The team just tweeted it. #$%*! I guess when he hobbled off after catching the swing pass saying he was ok he wasn't. Good thing Miller is stepping up, but there goes our hopes of really stepping up and pounding the ball the rest of the season.
You have got to be kidding me. It just keeps getting worse. This team is star-crossed. For 15 years, we cant find a coach that knows what he is doing, cant find a Qb capable of playing at an above average level. If I didn't love this team so much it would be comical.
besides week 1 we didn't had him for 4 games now, i fully trust miller, pissed about depth, but thats it...interesting if they promote LaMichael James or if this moreno move is just for activating shelby
Good thing Miller & Daniel Thomas have looked good, so I feel better than if this happened after week 1.
Wish we could pull off a trade for Mark Ingram or someone of the like. We have some depth in places....
I hope this means we sign LaMichael James from the PS. I think if given the chance he could be a big play weapon in our offense.
Ugh... seriously!?! Sucks for Moreno. Sucks for me too, he got dropped in my fantasy league, I picked him up this week for his return (I left him benched this week though because I didn't think he'd be effective.), now I need to find a replacement again
Miller is still an average running back that gets taken down at first contact. He stepped up to be good enough for a backup.
Injury issues were a big reason teams stayed away from him. Hickey gambled. Sometimes it doesn't come up the way you want.
Yep, he has had a history of injury troubles. Alot of that has been bad luck, ie. the elbow thing against the Bills.
Some injuries are bad luck. Most are not. Playing the game without getting hurt can be as much of a skill as carrying the football and not fumbling.
I tried offering a trade for him two weeks ago but guy wasn't interested, dodged the fantasy bullet at least. This sucks, played hard and looked so good in limited action, looked forward to see what he could do.
I picked him up during the Bye week too. Didn't start him thankfully, against GB, and now have to drop him and hope for a replacement. I am making two claims. First for Isaiah Crowell, and 2nd for Antone Smith
The elbow injury as well as this recent knee injury seems like unfortunate bad luck to me. How could he have avoided it? Just asking. .
I know that its Wisconsin's style, but he has shown nothing but being one dimensional. Averages one catch for 4 yards a game.
I think Miller is definitely better than average. He's got really nice straight line speed in and out of the hole and he doesn't dance around. He makes one cut, speeds through the hole and lowers his head. Miller has been very good this year. He's currently averaging more than 5.0 yards/carry and he's on pace to score 10-12 TDs. I'll take that production any day of the week.
That's like asking how do you avoid fumbling when being tackled. You protect the ball. Similarly, as a ball carrier, you protect your knees, protect your limbs, avoid hits. There's a skill to it.
Didn't he tear his ACL from a leg whip on a guy while he was pushed out of bounds? I mean seriously hes not superman.
But seriously damn-it I really thought that fire Moreno showed was going to help this team tremendously he was great to have on the field.
