I kno it's not our best look but us doing this for the first time in years sends a message that this game is ****ing big! http://http://imgur.com/RzA1vTc
Wow.. If I'm correct.. We have only gone all Aqua once in the history of our franchise, December 9, 2002. A Monday night game where Ricky Williams ran over the Chicago Bears.
Not sure if they are wearing them.. But just saw a tweet from Ryan Tannehill saluting our Veterans.. and he's got some sweet *** Camo cleats he showed a pic off with his name cross back...
I'm so psyched! I'm def getting an aqua jersey this year. However, it seemed like they should have done this for the "Aqua Out". I'll believe it when I see it.
Ronin is right. We wore all aqua in 2004 for a Sunday night game against Cleveland. I believe we won 10-7.
"For the fourth time in franchise history and the first time since 2004, the Dolphins will be wearing aqua pants with aqua jerseys." "The first time the Dolphins unveiled the look was Dec. 9, 2002 when the Chicago Bears came to town for a Monday night game." "The following year, the Dolphins again wore the all-aqua uniforms for a Monday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles, although they weren’t able to win that one. They won again sporting the all-aqua look late in the 2004 season when they beat the Cleveland Browns, 10-7." http://www.miamidolphins.com/news/article-1/Dolphins-To-Wear-All-Aqua-Uniforms-On-Thursday/1313f864-9589-4fb0-966d-706cfae04129
I still love the orange jersey's & white pants..but if the aqua helps us win..cool...I have a challenge for all fans attending the game...break out the white Hankies please. LET'S GO FINS !!!!
Absolutely.....we had the Horrible Hankies at least 4 years before the Steelers had the Terrible Towel. I wish we'd get back to doing the traditional stuff.
we don't have the venue for it..you can't have hankie participation when the stadium is half full at the beginning of the game, and for half of the third quarter, nor does half the crowd have the fervor to stay engaged into the game.
Just stop it..this stadium does know how to rock when good product on the field..They need to shut down the tailgating at 1 hour before kickoff
It is going to be intense there Thursday Night. I predict a similar atmosphere and outcome to when we beat Rex Ryan's Jets Monday night, in a game where leads were exchanged 5 times, and we won with Ronnie's Wildcat.
disagreed on the first part, but the 2nd part, thats the best Idea yet.. Knowing hot to rock a stadium is knowing how to arrive and get in your seats early so the teams feel like the game is special and the fans care as much as they do, it's being in your seats to start the third quarter cause you know your defense may be on to start, it's knowing how to stand when they are on offense..etc. I don't blame our fans on everything, it's the venues fault for a lot of stuff. Could we actually do that, close tailgating an hour before that is? Shoot, I would have dolphin volunteers with bullhorns going around the stadium asking folks to get in their seats early.
Link? I never hear anything about this. I know there was a orange move up when they were first cheatigg the new luck but nothing came from it
I agree. Not only are they ugly, but they take away our chance to see the team in the "real" uniforms - aqua jersey/white pants.
Our colors have always been Aqua & ORANGE with white Pants....and the all white uniforms.with Aqua & Orange were pretty much the staple.....all aqua is kinda ugly really.
I disagree. It is our best look. I loved those uniforms when we smashed Chicago then and I will again Thurs.
