Seems like a couple of days early wd be the standard to acclimate to the altitude. I wonder what other teams do?

Other than Oregon, Montana is my favorite state. Not only is it frigging gorgeous in a variety of ways, the people there are so unpretentious toward outsiders. They make ya really feel welcome. In my experience anyway.

2001 did not sound right, but I did not verify it. Figured Colorado Steve was right. I wasn't 100% sure either way and too lazy to look it up.

Wouldn't meeting way over in Brooklyn be a little bit out of the way for both of ya?

Yeah and the 99 game MARINO went into Mile High and the Dolphins destroyed the Broncos. Shannon Sharpe had been talking sh!t about Marino all year...he ran straight off the field after Marino had kicked his teams a$$.

They still have that heated range in Aurora? It also had a skating rink. I used to run into Avalanche players with their kids there all the time.

That's nice. It is always a pleasure to sit by opposing fans who realize that at the end of the day it is just a game. Just like when we are at home..when I go I treat opposing fans with the respect that I would expect..that is if they are not abusive...lol..usually have a good time ribbing back n forth.

I think the weather is an advantage for us, were used to dealing with humidity, once we get there its dry air, and that always feels good when your used to humidity, maybe there is a reason we play well when we go there.

    Kickoff: 2:25pm (MT)
    High: 43
    Low: 23
    Wind: N to NW 10-25mph
    Sunset: 4:40pm (MT)

First 3 quarters will be comfortable. 4th will be cold. If Fins are leading or close through those first 3, they can win it in the 4th. Peyton is not good when it gets cold.

Snow front is taking longer to get here than they expected. Shouldn't be a problem.

With the sunset not until the end of the game, hopefully the weather will be managable then. Hopefully we can stay close, because a comeback would be harder in the bitter cold.

While I understand 23 sounds bitter cold to Floridians, it is not that bad out here. Cold yes, but very manageable if the winds stay low.

Ya it's not so bad if you don't have slush/rain/wind (see @ Buffalo last year, compared to @ Pitt).

LOL, I grew up 45 miles south of Pittsburgh and live in central Virginia. 23 is still pretty cold to me, especially if its windy. My concern is the team though, because regardless of changing players and coaches, the Fins almost always fold in the cold.

It depends on wind and how much moisture is in the air I'd think.

A few of us have lived in Denver, trust me, unless it's in the teens, all this talk about weather is completely overrated..their gonna be fine..just hope for wind..if it's 35 degrees it's perfect football weather up there.

To be honest, it's damn near perfect weather for football.

It obviously isn't the case this week, but I've watched far too many Dolphins teams go to New England, or Buffalo, or where ever into a cold weather game, and play far below their regular abilities, often losing to lesser teams. I'll believe its over when I see it.

At the start of the game it'll be around 43 so wind will be a bigger factor than cold 20-30 MPH winds. After the second half it'll get down to 23 and winds will be 10 MPH

The wind should help RT17 and the trajectory of his misguided long balls!

Or you could look at it as touch on the ball, which allows his receivers to run under it, and which is what Tanny doesn't have yet. But with coverage as tight as ours has been, you may see some picks.

Nope.. Not cold at all. Put it this way... Your not in pain. When it hurts to be outside.. Thats when it's cold.

We've all watched far too many Dolphins teams play at home in 70+ degree weather far below their regular abilities and lose to lesser teams. Last year we beat the Steelers in the snow and then lost at home to the Jets a few weeks later with a playoff birth on the line. In 2011 we beat Buffalo on Dec. 18 in Buffalo in sub-freezing temps. In 2008 we beat KC in KC in 10 degree weather (-12 with the wind chill). In recent years, I'd say we've been about as good int he cold as we have been in warm weather.

It depends on the moisture and the wind. If its 23 with high moisture and high winds, it is pretty painful.
