Darn! I mean, good call. Last week in my Clemson league I played the guy who started Rivers [-0.5 pts] and I had Peyton Manning.... and I still friggin' lost.
7 points away from our league first 300 point performance this year. Eagles D and Gano may get me there yet. Things looking up getting Mathews back next week and Id also like to thank Todd for dropping Cordarelle "3rd round value" Patterson
bummer about dipping back below 300 points in the final minutes. I mean, it's not like I was paying attention to it or anything, counting points or yards to see to how far Carolina was from 300 and how many points it would cost you if they reached that mark or scored again. Philly's DST production is gettin' out of control, WTF. You're gonna need Matthews back if Matt Ryan keeps playing behind a house of cards. I traded him just in time. You're welcome for Cordarrelle. You can give me my owed twenty bucks from the absent Doc Astro for that one.
Phillys d for fantasy is MVP caliber. I went after their D in 2 of my pay leagues and they're killing it there too. If you can get doc to post that he owes you $20 FAAB I will transfer it. I Pm'ed him already a while back. Like I said, I can't see that stuff when the trades are accepted so I have no other way of knowing.
I messaged him a couple days ago and he didn't respond back. I even let him know he was in the playoff hunt. Still no answer or change in his lineup even though he's been active here on ThePhins lately.
Ouch, bet you didn't plan on 46 points from LeVeon Bell & William Gay. As a GM with a 7-4 record, let me be the first to offer my sincerest condolences for your drop to 9-2.
Hopefully he will be 9-3 after the showdown he and I have this week. Tough week because I need Demarco to do well in my biggest money league...but if the rest of his team wants to poop the bed, this is the week
Well I need 2 losses each from you, Alex, and BK, so however you guys wanna go about it is fine by my.
The problem is he knows he owes me $20 for the Miller trade and is avoiding the issue instead of being a man and owning up to his end. There's still a hardcopy of the trade [notation included] in the email that NFL.com sent to him, but I don't see why he would produce it when it incriminates him.
Ah, gotchya. Well, you did say he didn't respond back to your PM about it, which seems more like a refusal to respond back since he was active on ThePhins at the time IIRC [not posting but logging in].
Would have been better for you if you were smart enough to start him Check your proposals. I countered and gave you an idea of who Im looking at if I do anything.
I only have 4 receivers rostered so that's one position I unfortunately can't afford to give up a top starter from.
I'm still incredibly annoyed with myself that I forgot to draft him. He was on the board for like 10 or 11 rounds after I had him slotted.
I'm still incredibly annoyed I drafted him after you forgot and cut him after some bull**** news report leaked about him being out for the year and like a knucklehead I listened to it and cut him in this league
I hate when that happens! It doesn't happen often but inevitably every year I'll let Rotoworld or whomever dissuade my belief on at least one player even though my gut is telling me to listen to myself. It happened this year with Denard Robinson. I picked him up in Dynasty thinking he was the future with upside regardless of Gerhart or who they drafted. Then Evan Silva started hyping up Storm Johnson as that guy and it made me second guess my feelings about Robinson.
Exactly! Freakin wanna be know it alls and you cant stop reading it because they are right a lot of times
Oh man I meant to hit accept on that trade and it rejected me. WTF? I wanted that Mckinnon guy from ya Todd lol.
Man, I really hate my running back situation down the home stretch. Lacy Ingram Crowell Hill Latavius Murray Daniel Herron [got the start today and 17 touches to Richardson's 13] *Alfred Blue if Foster stays hurt I mean seriously, do you know how emotionally stressful it'll be trying to figure out who goes to the bench each week?
Mathews Forte CJ Anderson (Who I have to learn to start) Tre Mason WR/RB/Flex Denard Robinson Nelson Watkins Patterson Sanu Martavis Bryant Every week is gonna have some interesting decisions on who I want to start...
Well Alex is getting his face handed to him Only real question looks to be whether ill hit 300 this week.
Looks like I might win this week again I hope. Watch out Boik and Todd. This boy is going to take you guys down haha.
yeah you're definitely gonna have some tough decisions to make! I'm surprised you didn't start Anderson this week. Might cost you a 300 pt week. My offensive performance this week is as crazy as your defensive. 23 pt average at RB, WR, and Flex with 12 combined rushing/receiving TDs, and that's with Latavius Murray [27 pts], Jarvis Landry [22 pts], and Mark Ingram on the bench. Friggin' Eagles AGAIN. Probably the worst high-scoring DEF in fantasy history. If you told me a defense would allow 25 pts and 378 yards per game but average 28.4 DEF points I would've engaged my inner monkey and thrown poo at you.
Do you sit and crunch numbers all day for fantasy? Do you do finances too? 401k's? In all seriousness I agree regarding philly. That's one of the reasons I grabbed NE as well cause it simply can't keep up that way....can it? I trusted our defense over Anderson. Big mistake. Lucky it likely won't cost me a week.
looks like you're gonna be in the 6th spot after this week and in control of your own destiny. Perhaps you'd be headed for 8-4 and a lock for the playoffs if you set a full lineup every week. Pretty ballsy leaving a DB spot open during this critical make-or-break week I must say.
If I win arod is a part champ for dealing me Ryan and Watkins. Without that I'd be starting Ginger Dalton and or Tannehill (could do worse) but Ryan is still a better fantasy qb IMO.
Do you picture me on one of those Chinese abacus thingamajigs? lol They're like Victor Cruz 2011. I forget how many weeks I kept him on the bench because of this same mentality, thinking to myself- this is gonna be the week he comes back down to earth..... but it never happened. Sh**, I started Green Bay today thinking I had a great matchup against Minnesota [#6 against opposing DEF], but it landed me 9.3 pts for whatever that's worth. Although, Philly's DEF schedule thus far has been extremely friendly, no? I would've been tempted to trust our D as well, however, I figured that Anderson's floor today would be no lower than Mason's expected production and that his ceiling would be significantly higher.
I'd be inclined to start Tannehill ahread of Ryan..... but if Ryan's protection and supporting ground game suddenly improve, I'd go back to him. After the Denver game, Tannehill surprisingly jumped ahead of Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan, and Philip Rivers into the QB#8 spot [only a couple points shy of passing Cutler as well]. Not bad considering the other 6 are Brady, Roethlisberger, Brees, Rodgers, Luck, and Manning. However I think the added combination of Ryan & Watkins is > than that of Tannehill alone.
Todd it wont let me add another DB. I have tried and you have to drop a player then you have another open slot lol.
I beat the first place guy last week. I think it was Alex44. Sorry Alex had to give you a hard time lol.
Right, that's why you drop an unnecessary offensive player like Cotchery, DeAngelo Williams, or Asiata who have no business being on anyone's roster..... or your DL who is sitting on the bench.
