It's unfortunate the 2 minute offense eats more clock then when we try and use up the clock.

Brutal. Almost every other Wild Card contender won their games too and we are hurting after this game. Damn.

    Wait until New England...

Just hope they don't pull this s--t against the Ravens or blow it against a weaker team like Minn or NYJ. 9-7 won't get them in this year with so many 7 and 6 win teams already.

Coyle had no answer for that team today...that simple. The defense not tackling and stupid penalties on top, recipe for what happened...I can't fault the offense except the interception was very bad timing...but wasn't on RT...it was on Landry.

My only concern is all the injuries...Taylor's out for the season I heard? Several other guys injured in places we were ALREADY paper-thin at?

    It's almost a miracle we scored 36.

Defense with some brutal penalties, injuries hurt us bad. 28 points should win you a game, Tannehill gave them 36. This loss falls on Coyle.

I know people will say "Not many can stop Manning/Rodgers"...but the Rams stopped Denver last week. (home game, but still, it was inside a dome and STL has no homefield advantage whatsoever]

Just seems like whenever this defense faces a top offense they blow it. Rodgers, Manning, Stafford (Does he even count?). Yeah they beat the Chargers in Miami, but the Chargers haven't won in Miami since 1981.

We'll see what happens when they face the true Patriots in New England in December with healthy Gronk and co. I expect the same results as the Packers/Broncos/Lions game from the defense. Its good, but its not great. Beating up and padding stats on crappy offenses like Oakland, Jacksonville, Chicago and Buffalo does not make them great. The 2013 Seahawks were a great defense that could stop top offenses.

Can only afford to lose one more game. I'd expect them to beat NYJ x2, Vikings and Ravens, but who knows. Lose any of those and the season is likely over.

Wow first the packers, then the lions, and now the broncos. This team is not a playoff team.Good teams find a way to win and so far this year we choke in the closing moments.
Where the hell was the pass rush today. Wake and vernon were and invisible and the overall tackling was horrible.

Speaking of Tanny, was the PI on Landry negated because the ball may or may not have been tipped?

Tannehill looked great. It's tough to win when Jimmy Wilson is your number two corner.

Defense gave up 22 fourth quarter points. That's absolutely inexcusable.

Ughh, we're in Denver's thin air where kickoff are routinely smashed through the endzone but Sturgis can't get the late 3rd qtr kickoff beyond the goal line, which is promptly returned 40 yards. That additional 20 yards of field position allowed Denver to go for it on 4th & 2 from Miami's 41 instead of punting from their own 39, and instead of the score remaining 28-17, it was tightened to 28-25. That was a game changer. Good news is this is still a playoff caliber team if we can shake the injuries.

Good teams find a way to win close games and mediocre teams always find a way to lose them. Until this team shows that it can win these type of games against quality opponents, they remain merely mediocre as a football team.

Stugis has been a major disappointment as the replacement for Carpenter IMO. Hopefully he won't be on the roster next year.

That was one play in the entire game. It certainly wasn't the reason no one covered Thomas a few plays later when he scored a TD with 16 seconds left in the first half.

    The entire defense sucked today.

I don't think that is true. I think this team can beat mediocre opponents regulary, and they've shown that this year. What they keep proving is that they aren't yet in the elite. They are close though, which means they are better than mediocre. I know it's nit picky but it makes me feel better.

The D choked, but the injury bug really crawled up their arses and took a big bite. At this point of the season, it's often about attrition and good or bad luck of the timing of injuries.

Your right but if we stopped them there the broncos might not have seized the momentum .That was huge for them.
