Per Salguero: Ja'Wuan James (stinger) is not going to be longterm serious even though he didn't return to the game. Jamar Taylor (shoulder) is serious. Beasley has a different take: Regarding Jamar Taylor, it's far too soon to know how much time he'll miss, but his shoulder injury does not appear to be season ending.
Predictably overserved..err...Drunk Sammie Tough game, will have to wait for the re run to make some observations Taylor sounds done, in the meta sense, now our playoff run starts, Denver in Denver with Manning coming off of a loss..sorta knew how it would play out.
I found it odd that they never said what injury Taylor had. He did look like he was in a lot of pain. Completely unnecessary play by Thomas throwing him to the ground on the play he got hurt. Frustrated he was being covered well so he beat him up.
That likely won't draw a fine any time soon. It was on a defensive player, and a dolphins defensive player at that.
Sounds like James will be back and even wanted to go back in on Sunday http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/nfl/miami-dolphins/article4085059.html Read more here: http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/n...sports/nfl/miami-dolphins/article4085059.html
The play was whatever, I took more offense to Thomas standing over Taylor taunting him when he was clearly injured. Especially when he had to walk out of his way to do it.
They probably would have scored anyway but that should have been a 15 yard penalty right there. Totally uncalled for.
Can we include Jimmy Wilson's pride in the body count? Or was that dead long ago? Every snap this guy plays gives me bitter beer face!
how many times has he missed a tackle because he thinks going with his shoulder first will get the defender down, he is a FA and he is gone imo
One run play, Wilson hit Anderson on the line of scrimmage with no wrap. Anderson bounced off, went forward, and dove for a 6 yard gain... Wilson actually jumped up and started pounding his chest??! His coverage on the Welker touchdown was laughable... as mad as I was at that point, all I could do was chuckle. His penalties were costly and his presence on the field always seems to be costly!
I don't want anyone injured...but when a defensive guy goes down I often wonder why it couldn't be Jimmy Wilson.
Taylor has made strides this year, he makes a lot of mistakes but he's proven that he isn't the bust that he started out as. I like this kid, and this injury is a blessing because I think it will mature him even more (Sucks that we lost him). He's "experiencing" what it takes to make it in the league. He'll be back this year watch and see.
You must have missed the part where I said I don't wish anyone to be injured. Jimmy Wilson shot and killed a man though under extremely fishy circumstances. I don't really feel bad for him.
Some good news on Taylor: http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/down-and-out-week-12-injury-updates/ss-BBfDl2X#image=21
if finnegan comes thru we will be ok..no need to rush him back...no more elite qbs until new england.
I'm curious as to what you find "fishy" about the incident. Wilson has been pretty open about telling his side of the story and from what I've read his account seems pretty plausible. I'm not a big fan of his play (I'd love to see him wrap up a player when trying to make a tackle instead of just throwing his body at him) but have always thought that there was something admirable about him rushing to his Aunt's aid despite the tragic outcome.
i did not miss the part at all. "I don't want anyone injured...but when a defensive guy goes down I often wonder why it couldn't be Jimmy Wilson." Seriously, do not defend a indefensible position. Do you not understand the word "lame"? You wished Wilson injured if any Phin player was injured yes? Thats your opinion. Mine is that i do not want a player hurt. It was a lame comment. Just saying
