I'm very excited for the the upcoming season and the season ending first ever playoffs. It's fun to me to come up with the possibilities of the teams fighting it out. Will it be big conferences only or will a small time conference sneak in. What's everyones predictions?

Mine: Stanford, Michigan State, LSU, FSU

It would be criminal to leave Ohio State out at this point....

Curious as to why you would choose OSU with an unknown QB ahead of TCU or Baylor? Whats criminal about that?

QB isn't as important in college football. Team skill level and coaching trump it IMO and OSU just put 59 points on one of the top defenses in the nation with that unknown. Honestly if TCU or Baylor gets in I see them losing by 14+ points their first matchup whoever it is. I don't see that happening to OSU.

They have more top 25 wins, a better SOS, best road win by far, true conference champion and that QB looked pretty damn capable.

TCU ONE TOP 25 win???? Baylor has a better case.

OSU is going to get crushed by Bama. Big 10 is a powder puff league at this point. That said, Big 12 was stupid for staying at 10. TCU got hosed, but it is what it is.

Its a travesty that TCU didnt get in.What a joke of a system.OSU does not belong in the top 4 and will get crushed by whomever they face .
I have a buddy thats a TCU fan and they are having a fit over the injustice.I watched the game with him.He was so excited.Their last run at a National Championship was when Sammy Baugh played ...in the 40s I think .Some undue influence involved no doubt.

Oregon will face Bama in the finals .Bama wins it all.

Bama Oregon comes down to how well Oregons makeshift line can hold up... should be a good game though. Still looking forward to Oregon pooping on FSU haha

Prepare for a big time disappointment. FSU will move on and then probably lose to Alabama.

Yeah, sure buddy, Oregon ain't Rutgers, or any of the other teams FSU has skimped by this season. This Ducks team has had a rough season, fought through tough opponents and injuries. They've been in a special rhythm for the last 4 weeks and have been absolutely crushing good opponents. It's a special team. No way FSU travels to the west coast and comes out on top.

I've got Oregon winning it all. Bama game is a bigger crap shoot, but Saban won't have 4 weeks to prepare for the Ducks offense. Bamas D is weaker than normal and Ducks D is better than normal.

Again, I think it's a special team and that they then a way to get it done this year :)

BTW I thought Fla St deserved the championship last year but not this year.:pity:

I don't know....TCU doesn't look like a great team when I watch them. Not good enough to stand up to the power teams anyway. I think they were rated above OSU at first only because of the uncertainty of OSU losing their QB. Once they destroyed Wisconsin it was pretty obvious they would move to the playoffs.

Ohio State has a better resume than TCU, they will likely lose by a couple scores to Bama but that's ok.

I would love to have a clean healthy debate with anyone who wants to compare resumes.

TCU should get in a conference with a title game. Plain and simple. They do that and they play Baylor. Winner may play in the playoff. Fact of the matter is Ohio State played a better team and had better margin of victory. Anyone arguing that TCU should be in needs to look at the criteria that the playoff committee goes by. Ohio State earned there spot in the top 4 period!

Why did TCU get hosed exactly? Maybe Baylor has a complaint since they beat TCU head to head but who knows if they would keep up with the big dogs..I bet the Big 12 adds 2 more teams and a.conf. champ.game real quick. Also BAMA will CRUSH OSU.

Am I the only one wondering if Briles would make a good NFL Coach? As long as he would bring an DC like Ryan with him?

TCU is the better team that suffered a single loss to a top 5 team and survived a round-robin tourney in a tougher conference than the B10. The Big 10 went what? 6-11 against power-five conferences, including a loss to B12 bottom feeder Iowa State. They picked off a few weak ACC teams and was 5-3 against the MAC. Statistically, the B12 was the top conference in the Nation (bumping SEC for the first time in forever). It's overall rating was 90, the Big 10 was tied with the ACC at 69. Marshall had a hell of a season too :P

As I said, it's a powder-puff conference. They can't beat anyone worth a damn outside of their little bubble.

As far as TCU vs. Baylor, quality losses always trumps quality wins. Has for years, TCU has the best loss (3 points vs. Too 5 team) and looks the better team.

Yes...the biggest one is Favoritism...Fact is when they decided to go to playoff format it should have Been for the Top 10 teams..not only the top 4...not much better than the BUS at this point really.

Stomped the #8 rank Big 10 team into the ground. Power rankings had PAC-12 WELL ahead of the Big 10 in toughness.
