Player for player trades don't really happen these days. When a player gets dealt to another team the payment is in the form of picks.

In terms of talent, I think Mike Wallace is worthy of a pick within the top 50 to 60 picks of the draft.

However, his contract is horrendous and we're unlikely to find anyone out there that is willing to take over that contract.

No one. We really need to concentrate on the holes we have - not create more

Wallace wants to win and let 2 yrs of building frustration with this ****ed up coaching staff get to him. Yr 2 of what was supposed to be a playoff/improvement year and we were getting our a$$ hand to us by the 4-12 Jets

maybe whoever is on his Johnson should get off and take a look at the other side - the coaches that got him to blow up

Now that I think about it Wallace probably does have some value. Other teams will see how underutilized he is due to not having a quarterback that can connect on deep passes. Im almost positive that if he goes to the Ravens he will get 1300 and 12 TD

I'm not sure that the Ravens would be interested while already having two speedsters on the roster: Torrey Smith and Jacoby Jones.

Do they have a need? Yes, but it's a moot point because the job is already filled.

What they really need is a younger guy for the underneath stuff. They replaced Boldin with Smith and will need to get another WR of that type in the near future.

No team will trade for him and absorb that contract. If they were somehow willing to, I'd accept even a conditional 7th-round pick.

    What's the story with Fitz?

Has he lost a step, was he hurt this year or was the QB play just that bad?

IMO, live to play another day scenario.

I saw very little effort in the playoff game where he would put himself in danger.

Three QB's later, yeah, there is always next year if you are healthy.

With the coaching staff as tenuous as they are and the fact that we really save little by trading or cutting him (versus what he could do for us), I don't see a reason to let him go... Besides if Tbaum wants to hire his own coach, he should keep Wallace on especially if there is teeth to being disgruntled... Serves them both right (Tbaum and Wallace)....

I'd take a 3rd or higher. Our 1st rounder just might be a wr if we go bpa, our "needs" will be gone imo. Kevin white and devante parker are huge wide outs we could definitely take.

I wouldn't touch Parker with a first round pick.. White Strong and Cooper are the top 3 receivers. Cooper is going top 10 for sure, but White and Strong should be there if we want them.

Haven't done a lot of homework on specific guys yet but as of now it's Def looking like wr is in play at 14. I see Shelton being long gone, he'd be the ideal pick. No guards worth taking that high. Maybe landon collins.

the only likely trade you're going to get is another bloated contract in return... that's why a Larry Fitzgerald is somewhat reasonable. Both teams would seem to benefit from it. The Cardinals get a guy in Wallace that Arians is familiar with and he can pair with Floyd on the other side. The Dolphins get someone who is a redzone threat... it doesn't solve all their WR needs (because you're not pairing him with Brian Hartline and feeling good about it). But it does improve their team, adding a good veteran presence who won't cry in the middle of a game that he's not part of the game plan.

Williams from Washigton if he checks out on a serious lisfranc, and is 100 % and powerful, is first round talent.

Just food for thought. I am not a huge fan on his attitude sometimes and lack of effort with one hand attempts when he could have easily caught with two (one example in endzone during GB game). But, we brought him here as a deep threat and to score TD's. We haven't connected on deep ball I get it but defenses have to respect the speed. This allowed Tanny to throw over 4000 yards. MW still matched his highest TD total for career (I know it wasnt the OOOH aaah factor long ball)
and was like 300 yards shy of top number...but still matched TD high and third best of career in yards. Why let him go? He is still an asset which opens up the underneath and middle if long ball isn't working. His contract sucks but he is here and I can't see replacing him based on the aforementioned reasons ...which is why he was brought here to begin with.

Just curious why anyone (not directed at you Paul ) would assume what Wallace's problem was. Assume he was upset because he wasn't involved????

Maybe he was upset because that for the 2nd year in a row we were getting our a$$ handed to us in the last game of the season. A game we should have won hands down. The ****ing 4-12 Jets......WTF

We have a huge opportunity to fill a legitimate huge hole in the OL and it will not surprise me if they chop Wallace and use the first pick on a mediocre receiver.........,.,it's the DOLPHIN WAY

I would trade him for a 2nd. You aren't going to get a quality player in return. I absolutely would rather get a true #1 WR in the 1st than pay him.

But I most definitely would not cut him if I couldn't find what I wanted, at least not this year.

If we let him go and don't draft his replacement, you can forget 8 wins next season, we'll be lucky to get 6 wins. Wallace's impact to stretch the field will be missed.

Even drafting his replacement isn't guaranteed to pan out right away, because who knows what impact a rookie will have their first season. To expect Odell Beckham production is unrealistic.

Get rid of Hartline, keep Wallace, draft a receiver. And then depending on how Landry and the new receiver respond to their roles, get rid of Wallace in 2016.

It would appear that the only reason they would try to trade him is because they no longer feel he is an asset to this team because of his blow up in the last game.

Obviously others teams would be aware of the reason the Dolphins were putting him on the trading block and that is going to work against the Dolphins.

Because of his contract, I doubt if there will be much interest in him in a trade. The Dolphins will be lucky to get a 5th or 6th round pick for him, but they would probably take a late round pick for him just to be able to get his salary off their cap space.

I would love to see them trade him for a starting caliber guard, CB, or safety, but it's just not going to happen.

The day our players don't want the ball every play and are complacent with getting it every now and then we need to trade those players. Why? Because we don't want a guy like that.

Wallace has passion and fire - that's enough for me. He is going to be pricey. But that's why restructure's are done all the time. Getting rid of Wallace makes this team not as good.

I am going to go with my gut and what I know Philbins history has been with vocal players. Too bad we couldn't trade Philbin
