Tannehill is a much better passer/QB. What Foles did that year was like wining the lottery for a QB. I'm fairly sure Foles will never have that level of success again.

I have a feeling, and its not just wishful thinking, that Tannehill has a breakout year.
Not just above average, but the kind of year where we ALL agree we're set at Q.B. , finally.

I can't help but wonder if the "Our O-line sucks" argument has been discussed so much, as a fan base, we've become desensitized to it. This offensive line still needs work. Whether it's in FA, the draft, or developing the current roster (looking at you Billy Turner). The 2014 offense started to get into a nice groove until Brandon Albert got hurt. Once that happened, the reshuffling of the offensive line, hurt our offense. And Tannehill specifically. Even then, he still played pretty well.

I'm not comfortable calling every season a "make it or break it" season for Ryan Tannehill, who has improved every year, until we surround him with the right players. This offense still suffers from many of the same problems it had when Tannehill came into the league.

Yep. We lost our run pass balance when Moreno was hurt, leaned more on the pass, then lost our pass pro when Albert got hurt. Hard to win when you're somewhat one dimensional and that one dimension is flawed.

Aw!!! Crud!!! And if a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his *** when he lands. IF the DEFENSE had made two 4th quarter stops....... God alone know what might have happened for sure, but this conversation would be a lot less important!

Make or Break? I'm thinking it'll have to be more a Wake n' Bake kinda year for Tannehill if we don't improve thus line immediately

Just out of curiosity how many QBs are out there who aren't facing 'make or break' seasons? Brady, Brees, P Manning, Rothlisberger, Wilson and Rodgers.

Luck's going to get the 'can he win the big one' hysteria, E Manning and Flacco are getting it despite being SB winning QBs. As far as I'm concerned it's a complete non-story, since the only way to become immune is to be a pro-bowler for 3 or 4 years in a row and have recent SB playing time.

At the start of 2014 Brady was getting the make or break talk as people thought he was too old.

How long did people question Peyton Manning before he finally won the big one? How many people still question Dan Marino because he never won the big one? I'm not saying it's fair or right, just that until he wins himself a Lombardi people will question him.

God I am so tired of arguing stupid arguments.

I can go away and never argue if all the so-called experts will admit they arent experts. Oh and I readily admit I am not.

see we print this article and say see this is what I am saying there ya go. yet a qb like Simms who won a super bowl its ah hes a quack he doesnt know, I know.

Either way this is a ridiculous argument, you nor I have any say in the qb decision. Thank god

Sorry I know this seems like a childish rant. But all we do is try to prove which side is right when each side has valid points, the interpretations are different based on what we have seen. but can anyone really say they KNOW based on their expertise that how good he will end up?

and why is it ok to post an article that puts questions on RT but yet there is a credibility issue with a guy that played the position?

all it does is show that the answer isnt known as to what Tannehills ceiling is and its a question if he can ever be elite and we wont know until we know.

I mean I kind of see what your saying, but I think football folks have since squashed those bogus theories...anyone with any understanding of the game knows luck can get it done..not that you don't, just suggesting it that folks will say it, who cares about them

Luck is going to have to have several years in which his play in the playoffs derails what would otherwise be a Super Bowl run for people to legitimately claim that. At this point he's been in the league three years, and in his most recent year he reached the AFC Championship by beating the #2 playoff seed, quarterbacked by Peyton Manning. He's a long way from being "questioned" due to anything Super Bowl-related.

You should write the guy who wrote the article a letter, perhaps this specific post as it seems your tryna talk to the guy who wrote the article but im not sure.
