If team page isn't upto date then that is your problem. #1 Jaguars - Jaguars aren't fooling anyone. They have nothing at QB and its quite clear the best QB is Jameis Winston. Jaguars select Jameis Winston, the savior to the Jaguars #2 Titans - Mettenberger or Manziel? Either way Titans need a weapons and Kevin White is the best weapon in the draft. Titans select Kevin White #3 Dolphins - After moving Wake the Dolphins need some star power on that line. They take one of the more versatile defenders the draft has to offer. Dolphins select Dante Fowler Jr #4 Raiders - With many holes to fill (lol) Raiders will just go BPA and that happens to be Leonard Williams. Raiders select Leonard Williams #5 Browns - There must be something in the water in Cleveland based off the happenings but they get their guy. Browns select Marcus Mariota #6 Colts - Is there a Clemson Tiger worth drafting? Colts select Vic Beasley #7 Patriots - Who the fock is Brady throwing too? Pats draft Amari Cooper #8 49ers - I fear whoever I mock will shortly retire. 49ers select Trae Waynes #9 Giants - Giants can go 1 of two ways. DE or DE. Giants select Shane Ray #10 Rams - Rams have a nice luxury with no immediate need at any one position. Rams select Randy Gregory #11 Vikings - There is panic in the air, pass rushers flying off the board. Vikings select Bud Dupree #12 ***skins - Skins need to surround Cousins with some talent. Skins select Dorial Green-Beckham #13 Saints - Saints GM claims he doesn't know what's going on in draft land but I can spot a smokescreen from a mile away. Saints select Brandon Scherff #14 Colts - No Clemson tiger worth taking. Colts select Jaelen Strong #15 Jest - They have no backfield, they need some big help. Jest select Melvin Gordon #16 Texans - 0, the total number of games started by their DT. Texans select Danny shelton #17 Broncos - "Blow that **** up" That's what the Bronco gm did. Dunkeys select Maxx Williams #18 Chiefs - KC making it easy. Chiefs select Devante Parker #19 Rams - Rams are throwing darts at this point. Rams select Landon Collins #20 Iggles - Could use an elite CB. Eagles select Marcus Peters #21 Raiders - The picks gotten from the messiah himself. Raiders select Todd Gurley #22 Steelers - I wonder if Steelers GM will attend the draft? Steelers select Eli Harold #23 Lions = Lions cry out in agony as the top 2 backs are gone. Lions select La'el Collins #24 Cardinals - That line is a mess. Shame they miss out on Collins. Cardinals select TJ Clemmings #25 Panthers - Panthers need a deep threat for Cam Newton. Panthers select Devin Smith #26 Ravens - Baltimore could use some versatility. Ravens select Shaq Thompson #27 Cowboys - Could go a few ways but its going to be defense either way. Cowboys select Kevin Johnson #28 Falcons - After literally throwing money at free agents, they attempt to throw their card at the podium. Falcons select Cameron Irving #29 Buccaneers - Could seriously use some defensive ends and it's starting to look slim. Bucs select Osdjghasfsdgn Odighsdg #30 Raiders - Their second starter from the Mack trade. Raiders select Malcom Brown #31 Seahawks - They really need some protection outside for Wilson. Seahawks select Andrus Peat #32 Cardinals - Cardinals could really use another legit weapon. Cardinals select Breshad Perriman
Damn, Mel knows our draft board better than we do. If by some miracle top prospect Osdjghasfsdgn Odighsdg is still on the board at 29 I've no doubt HC Lovie and I will undoubtedly pick him
I'm beginning to lean Cooper...both will be good, but Amari is safer. Or maybe I go Winston, who has a shot at being great. But Winston +Manziel in the same locker room?? Then we have Mariotta, who's floor is CKap and has a ceiling that's on insane levels. What to do, what to do.
No it's not a compliment. It's meant as...he has no ball security, can't make throws from the pocket, has messy footwork, can't play from under center... If anyone other then Chip Kelly drafts him he will be joining Tebow on espn within 5 years. If Kelly drafts him, he'll be in the pro bowl within 3 years. Kelly is the only coach who run an offense in which he can succeed
No, Manziel will slap Winston at dinner after shouting and pointing "Yo is that dude doing blow in the corner?!" and Manziel returns to a plate that's 4 legs light.
Hey, KB...why are you in our GML threads? I get you do not like that style of QB, but to suggest he can't throw from the pocket makes me believe you are just generalizing spread option QBs instead of watching MM play football. And to say he CANT play under center?? That's an assumption at best.
ok, when have you seen him play from under center? He hasn't done it going back to Hs which explains why his footwork is weak sauce. His accuracy on pro style routes is also not good. It's little to do with that style qb...Cam Newton is an example as is Russell Wilson. I don't see that with Marriota.
He hasn't done it because he hasn't been asked to in that system, his weakness is going through his progressions. Something our very own Ryan Tannehill is just now figuring out. Again, he is coming from an unorthodox system....but that doesn't mean he can't do anything else. He has a great arm and just needs a team with a solid OL and running game to make the transition smoother.
And Tannehill figured out progressions a long time ago. It's game speed that caused it took otherwise. Remember he had dumbo mike Sherman who pulled him from the qb role that cost him two years of valuable learning time.
I only wish you could eat your crow sooner rather than later. He's much more of a Cam Newton than a Tim Tebow....Tebow looked bad throwing the ball in college. Marcus throws darts all over the field.
I'm not exactly in love with Mariota myself, skill-wise. This is the first time I'm actually looking at some of the second-tier QBs seriously.
He never even gave him a real chance. Jerrod Johnson was a team captain and Tannehill knew the only way he would see the field was if he switched positions.
I wouldn't waste my time with that second teir. Unless you are looking for a backup like Mannion, who imo is the best of that second teir.
Adding to that, not beating out anyone doesn't necessarily say anything about the player's skill. Joe Flacco couldn't beat out Tyler Palko at Pitt. Whether you like him or not, I think it's extremely safe to say that Flacco is having him a WHOLE lot better career than Palko at this point.
