I am sure him leaving and not our starting lineup playing about ...well..ZERO minutes together all year, and the previous projected starting lineup playing 37 minutes had NOTHING to do with the Heat not making the playoffs. The "negative" outlook I have on him is backed up by numbers and results, and you ABSOLUTELY have the wrong guy if you are talking about his dick riders the last 4 years. Nothing I have said is wrong. Nothing. He is NOT the same player he was in Miami. Pick up a stat sheet and read it for ****s sake.
BTW, Fin-O, you are a Knicks fan...why are you all of a sudden a Lebron Dick rider? I am glad I had the outlook and opinion of him while he was here.
I appreciate greatness, no matter what the jersey or how right Iam about the fan base....it's like you and 3 other guys here all of a sudden... what happened to all these die hards? My team sucks but I've been here for years and won't be going anywhere no matter if they suck for another decade. I'm glad the band wagoners have been weeded out. But the few of you that remain should appreciate that LBJ brought you 2 titles, wether that number is a disappointment or not. Instead? He is criticized for having 38 points, 0 turnovers and impeccable defense....it's borderline pathetic.
How was he criticized? I stated a fact. He fell into his bad habits in the second half. I have repeatedly said that Lebron is the 2nd best player I have ever seen behind Jordan. But he is flawed. I said so when he was here, and say so now.
He is trying to carry a young team with its 3rd best player out and it's second best player barely walking...folks said it themselves "lack of playoff experience" would be huge. Yet he is doing everything he can to propel this injured, unexperienced, poorly coached group all the way to the finals. And if he gets them there year 1?? Without the 3rd leg of the "big three"??? It will be one of his greatest accomplishments of all time. The man deserves more respect for what he is doing now than he ever did then.
Fin-O your trolling is getting tiresome. Seems all you do lately is troll troll troll everywhere. Btw, you sound more like a Cleveland fan than a Knicks fan. Anyone new to this forum would instantly think you the biggest Cav homer there ever was if they didn't know better, I wonder where that falls into your "bandwagon" narrative. Lately you talk more about the Cavs than the Knicks, you even talk more about the Cavs than other actual Cav fans here.
If I bother you click the ignore button. And in case you have failed to notice, the Knicks aren't in the playoffs so what topic pertaining to them should I touch on?? Since this is a thread solely for posting about your fav team and all. By the way do some research and you will see I was much more active in years past in this thread when Bron was in Miami than iam this season...but why should that matter. The sole difference is me talking about James greatness didn't bother you last year, now it does. That's your problem, not mine. It's buisness as usual for me.
For the record, I am definitely worried about Dragic/Wade/Deng/Bosh/Whiteside lineup next year. That's a crazy good five (talent-wise), and if they can play together then that's a steamroller of a starting line-up.
Just saying.... you were complaining earlier that people had the wrong notion about your opinion of Tannehill, and the very reason of that is you're trolling so much lately no one knows when you're being serious or not. You also don't see other Knicks fans here all over LeBron and the Cavs.
Yeah, the Warriors are just much deeper. Gasol and Randolph have no help. I'm looking forward to their matchup against the Clippers. I think Jordan and Griffin will be too much to handle. The Splash Bros won't outclass CP3 and JJ enough to win... if Crawford and Rivers continue to contribute off the bench.
I frankly wouldn't care who won a GSW vs LAC series as long as they beat LeFail. Actually I think the Clippers may be the harder matchup as Lebron would have to spend some time on Blake Griffin defensively. I think he'd have a harder time with Blake then Steph Curry (See D Rose in the ECF a few years ago). Lebron handles guards pretty well because of his wingspan. How would he handle a player equally as athletic? Part of me wants to find out...the other part of me doesn't care as long as he loses
I agree. I think a Clippers vs Cavs series would be most interesting to watch. I just love CP3, Griffin and Jordan. I hope Dragic, Bosh and Whiteside can achieve that type of success one day.
There is one other Knicks fan who happens to despise Lebron. And why do you care if they are my adopted playoff team? The Tanny thing was trolling indeed, some are so ridiculously in love with him that if you say ANYTHING constructive about him you get a few who simply do not have the objectivity to do anything but divert blame elsewhere. These are a few guys in the main forum, and it was to prove a point to a fellow poster I speak with on a more sociable level. I mean...Brett Hundley in the 1st?? That's their own fault for being stupid and falling for that.
Yes, but his play has obviously dropped off so significantly in the 10 months since he left Miami...it makes it a better feat.
For the record I'm a massive Cavs fan and saying this about LeBron - so it isn't just the Heat fans. He's just a weird player. He can be the sole reason the Cavs jumped out to a lead and controlled most of that game. And he can also be the reason the Bulls got back into it in the second half. He's one of the strangest players I've ever watched. He'll look like the smartest, most unstoppable player to play the game - and then suddenly he'll get super passive or just launch long 2s and freeze everyone out. It's sort of incredible to watch.
I saw the game and somethings were eyebrow raising, but he also grabbed key rebounds, had key assists, and again GREAT defense in that 4th qtr. i just feel like he gets nitpicked more than anyone else.
I think it's because we see how good he is. You watch him make not only the right play, but the spectacular play for 75% of the game. So when he comes down and does something that defies what he's been doing the rest of the game, it's really frustrating.
From Zach Lowe..more shade to Phil Jackson: "The four teams currently up 3-2 ranked 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 7th in % of FGAs that were 3-pointers. Might be of interest to team-building types"
So..because his efficiency has dropped significantly.....it makes it a better feat if he can get them to the Finals? wut.
I stopped watchin basketall whem HEAT stopped playing. Check my twitter man, 85% of it is still about the HEAT. Sure, there were a few bandwagoners, but HERE, there have been HEAT fans and they havent gone anywhere.
Kelly Oubre sat down with Riley according to Jason Leisur. Riley has been telling prospects that the Heat will play an uptempo style next year, and they are only interested in guys that can get in the very best shape.
I certainly wasnt reffering to you, and thats a widespread disease that effects all fan bases. Do you know how many Cav fans have appeared at local bars? They are friggin everywhere. Im sure in 2 years there will be Knicks fans on every street corner....just how it is out there.
He's putting an entire organization on his back, nobody will give a rats vagina what some "efficiency rating" says if he takes this team to the finals. Its moot as hell.
Definitely some truth to this. The board I frequent exploded when it broke that Lebron was coming back.
Oubre is an interesting guy because he'll probably be the guy with the biggest upside at 10. He brings a lot of the things the Heat will probably be looking for in a wing also. He's a boom or bust guy, though. I really think Sam Dekker is a guy Riley will fall in love with. He really fits the mold of guys Riley has liked before. He's been impressing scouts at the workouts, so it's possible he goes earlier than 10, but I think he should be there.
You are under the impression that I care what his TEAM does. I am talking about HIS GAME. Nobody else.
LOL. Bulls held the Cavs scoreless for 6 minutes......sounds good right? till you realize they scored 2 points in that time span...then gave up a 6-0 run. LOFL. I love the Bulls....their talent increases...but they remain..THE SAME....
This **** is boring. Noah dropped off a cliff. He's useless out there. No way Cleveland beats LAC like this.
If im a Bulls fan im celebrating this loss as it means the end of Thibs. How can you lose in that fashion with no kyrie, lebron playing like ****, and no kevin love? Sheesh
