I don't think those seats even recline. The living room ones do IIRC. I don't really understand the problem either? I don't think cushioning on a seat will have a tangible impact.
Yep, it really isn't much. I'm estimating that it will only reduce the number of seats by 192 in the lower bowl based on the size of the sections... and they are located in probably the least impactful places possible in regards to noise.
The original report basically just said they were going to be in that section and the accompanying picture showed an open section. So I envisioned a section of lazyboys all along the 50 on that one side. It also mentioned how those seats had access to some bar area inside. Having been at a ton of games and knowing the crowd that buys those seats, I envisioned weekly TV shots of empty seats before games and before halves due to late arriving fans and less fanatical fans hanging out at the bar. That just isn't a good look and would further cement the area's image for lackadaisical fans.
The people paying for those seats will enjoy the hell out of um. People complaining simply cant afford them. Its called jealousy.
im sooo happy they actually moved concrete closer to the field, its been my wish for a very loooong time, and they did it, so ill try not to fixate on such a mistake.
no'one is jealous, trying to get the best homefield possible and lessen the degree for which our culture gets made fun of..

That's a ridiculous and ignorant statement. I don't live in the area anymore, but when I go down to the games of late I've been in the skybox so I'm not jealous of somebody sitting in a less expensive area.
I doubt I'll make it down to a game this season (as you know I've been b*tchin about how I will have to watch most of the games on replay this year), but I'll get my brother to send some pics from the skybox so people can appreciate the view from there.
Jdallen didn't say you or anyone complaining had envy, he was saying what bigbry claimed was factually incorrect because he described envy. So I am not sure why you would be sorry to tell him anything.

This might be a stupid question.. but do domes or stadiums with roofs hang banners for team championships and retired numbers/players like they do in the NBA?
I can't recall any. I think most do it like the Fins do, with a ring around the middle tier of the stadium.
I saw those today when I picked up my seat at Joe Robbie. I dont know why I didnt think to take pictures.
I was thinking that they would be underneath the roof though, and likely in the shade most if not all the time though.
I was watching the Falcons preseason game earlier and they had banners of multiple players hanging, the Lions and Colts have some too that I saw.
The "roof" is going to be see through. And, virtually everything looks to be either deep aqua or white. I like that two-tone over three - it's a much crisper look that way. Seeing this pic below - I can't WAIT to see it fully completed. I think it will be a really cool looking stadium once it is done with the 4 video screens and the roof.
I think that pic is one of the old original renderings. The plans going forward do not show a clear canopy.
