Just looking at the cone, and with her being outside Cuba on Sat night, could the game be canceled? Has anyone heard anything yet?
They'll play the game unless it's likely some aspect of it will be directly impacted by the storm- if the opponent can fly in, play the game safely, and fly out they'll do it even if a storm will likely hit in the next couple of days.
Expect an exceptionally weak hurricane season. There is an extremely strong El Nino, which means winter flooding in the west but probably no significant eastern hurricanes this year.
Wouldn't be the end of the world to cancel the game and keep everyone healthy Obviously, we've had several regular season games moved due to storms before, including one that was postponed until late in the season. Have we ever had that happen in the preseason before?
I dated three girls named Erika. Trust me, you can never just get in, play around and get out. It usually ends much later than expected and everyone walks away disappointed. I say cancel it.
Yeah, right now they are calling for it to hit West Palm Beach either Late Sunday night, or early Monday morning. I hope that it does not come to the treasure coast, I am not in the mood for another hurricane since we had back to backers in 04 and the backside of another in 05.....This time I may load up the family and dogs and go get a place away from where the storm will be..Don't wanna deal with no power again for 5 weeks.
Good luck to everyone in the area. I've never really had to deal with a hurricane, just the remnants of them, but being without power sucks. I've had snow storms knock my house out for a week or more three of four times the last few years.
Except that 1992 was a strong El Niño year, and we all know what happened then.....you can't assume anything when it comes to those storms, and must always be on guard.
Thank you Unlucky....no power at 95 degrees,no breeze after, and usually very high humidity.....just absolutely miserable weather.
Lol..you know its funny... the only Erika's I have ever known were all extremely hawt...not kidding. Erika's, Heather's, and Lynn's....for some reason have always been names attached to exceptionally beautiful girls
You know....maybe this IS our season... With the line we might put out Sat night...if the game got canceled...it would mean 17 wont get demolished...
The one I dated and lived with, was extremely attractive. Much hotter than I deserved. I think she eventually figured that out and now lives on a tropical island...without me.
May have failed because you insist on calling every girl you date Erika, regardless of her real name.
and by passed out, we mean you passed out before you climaxed the first two times she choked you. Erika had such strong hands.
WADR skrat I am not sure where you are watching or getting updates, but I am using NOAA and TWC as usual and they have it hitting all up over Florida...Currently looks like we will be in the thick of it with this thing. Not sure if it interrupts the game but it is possible.
With South Florida at risk of being impacted by a hurricane early next week, the Dolphins have examined the possibility of moving practice to an undisclosed location elsewhere, potentially on Monday and Tuesday. “We’ve discussed a couple different scenarios,” coach Joe Philbin said. “We’ll be ready if we need to. Everything is on the table. We have to get our team ready to play in the regular season.” Philbin declined to say where practices might be moved. According to projections released Thursday afternoon, Tropical Storm Erika is expected to reach hurricane status with 75 mph winds as it approaches South Florida on Monday. It’s too early to tell whether South Florida will get a direct hit. The Dolphins say there are no plans to move Saturday’s home game against Atlanta. And the storm is expected to have passed before next Thursday’s preseason finale against Tampa Bay at Sun Life Stadium http://miamiherald.typepad.com/sports-buzz/
