Dude had some serious presence tonight. Two tackles for a loss and one sack, if I'm not mistaken. With Wake and Suh on that line, not to mention Vernon, it might be easy to see Mitchell in the background. I'm certain the Falcons' OL didn't see it that way! Nice play from the entire DL, and Mitchell just pure showed up!
Yeah he played very well tonight. He definitely made his presence known. If he keeps this up, this line will get that much stronger.
Earl Mitchell was our best DT last season. Now that he's got protection on the line w/Suh, he's going to get a ton of 1-1 looks and hopefully does what he did tonight for the duration of the season. September 13th, where you at?!?!
