Who should I start this week? QB: Rivers vs CIN or Ryan vs JAX? TE: Ertz vs DAL or Cook vs WASH FLEX: Decker vs IND or A. Johnson vs NYJ (Hilton is out but so is Cromartie) I'm for sure starting Landry vs JAX and Cooks vs TB, Miller vs JAX and McCoy vs NE.
I have Rivers and Tannehill. I think it will be close, but I'm going to try Tannehill one more week. If Rivers lights it up in Cincy, he may be my starter moving forward. I'd go Ertz at home vs Dallas and their weak secondary. Decker over A Johnson. If A Johnson gets covered by Revis, he will get shut down. IMO A Johnson is worthless in FFootball this year.
I would go: Tannehill (Jacksonville has a good run d), Ertz though I really dont like either player there....check for Ladarius Green or Eric Ebrons availability in your league as both are better matchups imo, and Andre Johnson. With Hilton out, Revis or not, he will be a target monster this week (I share the exact opposite opinion as Ohio and expect a resurgence from Andre this year)
Im trying that site tonight for baseball fanduel. Did a $1 entry on: Scherzer Evan Gattis Brett Wallace Jedd Gyorko Carlos Correa Todd Frazier Jay Bruce George Springer Mike Trout My other lineup is: Scherzer Sal Perez Prince Fiedler Gyorko Corey Seager Adrian Beltre Mike Trout Adam Jones Alex Gordon Curious to see how it turns out....
Fanduel lineup 1 for Sunday: Matt Ryan vs NYG Lamar Miller vs Jax Carlos Hyde vs Pitt Calvin Johnson vs Minny Antonio Brown vs SF Allen Hurns vs Miami Vernon Davis vs Pitt Matt Prater vs Minny St Louis D vs Washington
Help me pick 2: Davonte Adams @ Seattle Allen Robinson @ Miami John Brown @ Chicago Kendall Wright @ Cleveland
Adams and Robinson imo. I have a hard time with a WR3 (Brown) over a teams WR1 (Robinson or Wright) or a WR2 (Adams) unless the QB play or matchup dictates it. IMO Adams is a play because Cobb will draw Sherman. Robinson may draw Grimes but hes also got a team that should be playing from behind unlike Wright and Brown which means the game situation may dictate running more then throwing.
I would've been better off this week paying a homeless dude five bucks to randomly pick names from his dirty hat. I'll be lucky to have anything roll into next week at the rate I'm going. Note to self: even if a particular defense looks like a sure thing [ahem St Louis], don't play them in all 28 of my lineups. Brandon Cooks, Abdullah, Sam Bradford, and Jeremy Hill contributed their fair share as well. Interesting that the $1 million Sunday Rush [100k to 1st place] will be won with the following lineup: QB- Brady, 28.2 RB- DeAngelo Williams, 29.2 RB- Shane Vereen, 13.5 WR- Antonio Brown, 32 WR- Crabtree, 21.6 WR- Fitzgerald, 33.2 TE- Gronk, 20.8 K- Janikowski, 15 DEF- Pats, 13 ..... during the guy's first week on FanDuel no less.
out of my 7 line ups 0 of them made it into the profit zone. unless moncrief has a once in a lifetime day tomorrow.
Count me in for a rough week as well... Some dude in the tourney I'm in went full potato and started Brady, Edelman, Gronk, and Dion Lewis against @Buffalo.... Over 200 points and is in first place by a country mile. That kind of stupidity is awesome when it works, I guess. P.s. Under/OVer on Brady throwing 50 TD's in 2015? I'm going over.
Just missed the profit zone on NFL. Made strong calls with Matt Ryan, Megatron and Brown and didnt do bad with Vernon Davis for cheap. Injuries to Miller and Hyde and crappy play from Miller (and the phins OL) hurt me late. Team put up 115...could have been at least another 10-15 points better.
For me, Sam Bradford, Ameer Abdullah, Brandon Cooks, and Martellus Bennett failed me big time. Various defenses failed me too. Next week, I'm comboing Brown and Gronk. In fact, I might do it the rest of the year on at least one team... They're the only two fantasy players that are money in the bank, week in and out.
Turned $1 into $2 thanks to Fitz. I was just outside the money until last night. This is the only roster I won anything with.
I won money too on his prediction... There's a 7 day free trial. I signed up... I went back to weeks 1 and 2 to see what combination of players the optimizer would of picked. Damn near all of them finish in the money. Crazy... A few of them would of won me serious cash for a $1 entry... One of them would of gotten me into the top 15 for a big payout. The secret really seems to be QB cost and value. If you get good value on a QB, the optimizer will (based on weeks 1 and 2) get you a squad good enough to win money. Looking at the leader boards of the tourney's, it seems that's pretty much the strategy most go with too. So there's something to it. It also has customization features, including locking in players you want 100% and excluding players, bare minimum/maximum salaries for each position, etc... I'm tinkering w/ weeks 1 and 2 still to find the best setup. The cost is 14.99 per month (plus 7 day free trial) for the minimum package. This includes 1 site (for me, yahoo). I'm going to test out my free trial by investing heavily into this week. Try it out... Can't hurt, right? He also has baseball and basketball too. I'm going to enter at least 10-15 tourneys. Might even do some head to heads too.
in a PPR format and if you have a bench spot you don't mind giving up. I imagine Parker will eat away at his snaps over the course of the season.
ain't gonna happen. Plus that league has it's own thread. This ones for daily fantasy leagues like draft kings or fanduel.
On DK this is kind of a boom or bust line up imo but i'm going to roll with it in a league or 2 QB: Palmer RB: Ingram RB: Vareen WR: Edelman WR: Moncrief WR: Landry TE: Gronkowski Flex: Woodhead DST: Broncos
I'm not sure how nerdy you guys are but Draftkings just introduced League of Legends daily leagues. I'm pretty excited about it. I haven't kept up with LCS this year but what a better time to start again.
Lineup for week 3 on Fanduel... Newton vs New orleans McCoy vs Miami (Hated to do this but our run D blows because of scheme) Stewart vs New Orleans Landry vs Buffalo Kennan Allen vs Minnesota Cecil Shorts vs Tampa (target monster; Hopkins is Questionable...could be a really good play) Gronk vs Jax Dawson vs Arizona Pats D vs Jax
If Sammy Watkins spends most of the day on the left side, he might go off this week. Pierre Garcon & Allen Robinson combined for 12 catches on 20 targets for 229 yards and 2 TDs.
what do you think for sunday's 3$ entry for a Mill QB Cam Newton NO@Car 21.0 $6,800 swap out RB Carlos Hyde P SF@Ari 22.7 $5,400 swap out RB Danny Woodhead SD@Min 18.8 $4,400 swap out WR Travis Benjamin Oak@Cle 26.7 $4,200 swap out WR Allen Robinson Jax@NE 20.1 $5,200 swap out WR Antonio Brown Pit@StL 35.4 $8,900 swap out TE Rob Gronkowski Jax@NE 29.9 $7,400 swap out FLEX D. Williams Pit@StL 24.2 $4,400 swap out DST Patriots Jax@NE 9.0 $3,100 swap out
I'm not sure I'd go with D Williams since Bell is back for Pitt. Does fanduel or DK count return yards...if not Benjamins a risk/reward play. He's not a volume guy for catches so he's got to hit a few 30 yarders to make him a viable.
only scary part about Benjamin is that Jonny Football isnt going to play. so i'll look for someone else. Any suggestions?
I mentioned Cecil shorts earlier. I'm going to do another lineup as well...I like Brandon Marshall a lot this week as decker is day to day and may be limited vs Philly and quincy enunwa their #3 is probably out. I like a j green a ton as well as Baltimore d is not what it was
Lineup #2 Roethlisberger @ St Louis Lynch vs Chicago Gore vs Tennessee Marshall vs Philly AJ Green vs Baltimore Nate Washington vs Tampa Vernon Davis vs Arizona Scobee vs St Louis NE vs Jags
And lastly lineup #3..went skill player heavy... Mallett vs Tampa Jonathan Stewart vs New Orleans Ameer Abdullah vs Denver Antonio Brown vs the Rams Demaryius Thomas vs Detroit Michael Crabtree vs Cleveland Gronk vs Jax Franks vs Buffalo Carolina D vs Saints (No Brees)
I would get stevie johnson in your lineups today. Ladarius Green is probably out so hes looking like a solid bet for 10 targets against minny and hes cheap.
I tweaked my 3 Sun lineups at the last min and ended up turning $31 into $39.50, plus 3 entries into next weeks Sunday Million [$25 each]. I did good on the Satellites to next week's Sunday Million- had 4 entries [$2, $2, $2, and $5] and won on 3. So basically I turned $20 into $39.50 and turned $11 into 3 $25 tickets. Will be fun using the $25's next week. My gut told me Blount would score at least 2 TDs and Buffalo's D would wreck Miami..... but I had already played 10 friggin' lineups on Thursday and couldn't swap the Jets & Falcons for the Bills and Woodhead for Blount before Sunday's games. Really hate that our lineups lock in entirety on Thursday b/c I would've killed it if I had editorial freedom Sunday. Hopefully you guys had positive days as well.
Good news: Week 3 was profitable for me. Cashed 11/15 games thanks to the optimizer. I had 10 one dollar tourney entries (slightly different rosters) and one $10 entry in yahoo's million dollar baller. Bad news: Everyone and their mother went off this week. Despite having scores that would put me into the top 10-50 in every tourney in the last few weeks, the scores amounted to almost bottom of the barrel cashes. Still, can't go broke making a profit. Even the bad news is still kind of good. Daily Fantasy Nerd's lineups (I do a stack of QB/WR) have gone 17/20 in the last two weeks. Week one wasn't so good (4/10) for him, as his optimizer had Peyton an DT/ES in the majority of lineups, and Peyton laid an egg). The lineups I didn't cash were of my own design. 3/4 were within 1-5 points of making the money. Like I said, everyone and their mother went off. I had one lineup featuring AJ Green, Larry Fitz, Rishard Matthews too and I changed it Sunday mourning when I found out DeMarco Murray wasn't starting. So I took out James Starks (good idea...) and added in Ryan Matthews, which meant revamping the roster because of cost. I kept Matthews and ditched AJ Green and Fitz. What a stupid ****ing maneuver.
Well if this isn't a f***ed up fantasy week, eh. Goddam Packers are killing me. I've got Lacy, Cobb, Jones, and Rodgers littered throughout my lineups but the friggin' TE and FB have vultured both TDs.
