Hey, I've gone from secrets Pats/homer apologist, to Dolphins homer lol. Their offense is meh. Their defense is good. Like I said. Other than Luck I don't find their offense all that good. No oline, no running back, no wide receivers aside from Hilton who should NOT be a #1. I'm not saying the Jet's can't beat us, or vice versa. I'm saying, watching the game I saw the Colts who played like crap, was in it until the final minutes even with all of those turnovers.

The Colts were down 2 scores for all of about 3 minutes the entire second half. I guess that is "in it." Overall the Colts didn't play well, but their defense did. The Jets had to work really hard to manage 100 yards of rushing. This was their home opener and they were fired up. It was a good win for the Jets any way you look at it. The Jets have plenty of warts, but they are much better than last year.

Somewhere I heard or saw commentary on the Jests offense. Twenty points off of 5 turnovers against a devastated Colts secondary. Three corners out and one of their DB's was signed from the practice squad on Friday. Not scary.

Nothing to watch haha...my kids go there, both of 'em. It's my 2nd favorite college team and ya...OKST just train-wrecked 'em, but they played well against Arizona (IIRC).

    Go Roadrunners indeed!

Dumpster fires both...those two games are looking a LOT easier these days...and so is Baltimore who lost Thuggs for the season....errr....I mean Suggs. With Nata gone and Suggs out for 2015, they're not as fearsome by a long shot. Flucco's playing like crap too. Add the Giants and Colts to that list, and the schedule "seemingly" has gotten a bit easier down the home stretch...

...but this is week 3...nothing is certain (except that the Pats look unstoppable again like they did in 2007...check that friggin' helmet speaker!). Brady seems to be playing the best football of his career...AT 38!

Oh I know...just meant to say I'm not down on UTSA...love 'em and support them quite a bit. Coker has a monumental task there, trying to establish them and get the program to thrive...I don't believe he's done badly.

It's grown a TON in the past 4 to 5 years, since they announced the program...it's massive.

Back on topic...how do you scheme around a line you KNOW will get constant, massive, effective pressure with 4...even with 3 at times...with this OLINE?! Jacksonville could've rushed 2 and gotten pressure...absolutely PATHETIC.

    RT better wear extra pads...

It's a fair point that Buffalo has some former Dolphins that could be in position to make an impact on the game.

I'm sure we all would have been dismissive if someone brought up that Jared Odrick would be in position to impact the game against us. But he admitted that this game WAS personal for him, he had it circled, and he put on a ****ing clinic. That was the best he's ever played defensive end, exponentially better than he did when Coyle mistakenly played him there in 2012. Going against Jason Fox helped but let's not forget that he also beat Branden Albert cold.

So it's interesting to see what the likes of Richie Incognito and Charles Clay will do. Incognito for one will have this game circled big time. Clay probably as well.

I think the Bills pull off the win 27-20 or 27-23. But I also thought we would win last year, and you guys hammered us in Miami. We couldn't stop Tannehill for the life of us. Injuries might play a factor vs you guys, if you can get most of them back I think you can win. Also, the person who said you will go 1-3 vs Bills and Jets, although I hope it's true... I think you guys will split both. I think all 3 teams are very, very close. The Jets pose a real threat on Defense, but did you guys re-watch the game yesterday? If you ask me... The COLTS should have won after all that. After all those turnovers, I still feel like that outplayed them. Missed field goal, fumble on the 1 yard line walk in touch down. They beat themselves no doubt in my mind. Jets offense is going to have a couple decent drives.... but look at most of the game, nothing.

I think this game is more on the Qbs than most games. Bills need 3 things!

-STOP THE STUPID @$$ flags (10+ a game)
-Protect The Football and avoid sacks (8 sacks, 3 ints, although 2 were at the end of halves)
-Establish -throwing- the ball. To open up the run.

If Miami can play like they did last year against us, I find it hard for us to win.
Our weak point is our Offensive line, if they get to Taylor, they will make him look like a rookie. He had several bad plays last week due to pressure.

They can be pissed all they want but if they're gonna come out soft for a third straight week then they deserve a lucky 1-2 record and it'll be chasing .500 all over again until coach limpdip is fired.

Miami sure wasted a win they really needed against the Jags. I figured they would be 2-0 with a 30+ point differential. Yet, here they are at 1-1. This isn't looking good for you Phin fans. IMO you guys need to start off to a hot start, I'm talking 5-1 or 4-2 to have a chance at the playoffs.

I mean the NFL didn't do my Bills any favor either. We start off win INDY,NE,MIA,GIANTS. Not to mention we play 5.. yes 5 freaking teams either getting extra time from the bye, or Thursday night game previous week. Your schedule is brutal after the first 6 weeks. If you can pull off 6-4 or even 5-5 in the last 10 games I will be impressed.

Last 10 games.... @NE @BUF @EAGLES (wk11 Cowboys with possibly Romo +Dez) Jets Ravens Giants Chargers Colts Pats.

    That is a brutal schedule.
I know every game is important, but talk about a very important game 3 weeks in. Bills can't afford to go 0-2 in division, and Miami needs a hot start, or to absolutely play lights out near the end of the season.

Miami has the advantage with QB exp, and being home. If Buffalo can stay under 8 penalties and stay neutral or + in the turnover count I say Buffalo wins 27-20.

If we play like we did last week and have 10+ flags and take 8 sacks we might get beat by 10+ points.

Were they not in it, at the end? That's all that matters. They should have been put away with the way the offense was playing. Fumbling at the goal line? It's not like the Jets defense forced Gore to fumbled. He just fumbled on his own.

If you're within one score, you're in it. Then Luck throws another INT that was NOT a great play by Revis. It was just a sheety throw.

Buffalo/Rex Ryan is scary in that, they can collapse and crater tragically, or, if we play like we did the last two weeks, they can put a 40 burger on us.

I'm glad at see the Dolphins back at home. I went to the Jaguars game. Damn do we need to work on our run-blocking, but Miami should win. I see an overconfident QB on the Bills about to get taught a lesson.

And I can silence all the gravity by sprouting wings and flying...

Okay, okay, enough with the disappointment (though it burns a hole in my gut every time I watch this team lose to someone they should have beaten badly). It's always possible that they get their **** together long enough to beat the Bills. I guess. Somehow.
    God, are you listening?

This feels like the type of game where Charles Clay scores 3 TDs, then Incognito starts throwing candy wrappers on the field.

The Jags offense was nothing to be scared of either, but they ran and passed at will against the Dolphins defense. Until the defense shows it is better than it has looked the last two weeks, I think we have to be concerned about any NFL offense the Dolphins face going forward.

I went back and decided to watch and read pregame thoughts of this game by various NFL sources and alot of them actually were giving lots of praise to Jacksonvilles offense and how they were on the come up and will surprise ppl.
how they had talent on the team and that they were"trending up"

after these first two games fans need to realize that REGARDLESS of what happened last year in the NFL things can change quickly in the offseason(well, for other teams not the dolphins )

how much turnover do we get every year with playoff teams?
so teams are just expected to lie down and stay ****ty forever?

why can't teams like Washington and Jacksonville get better while teams like Indy and Baltimore get worse?

we need to stop thinking that LAST YEARS team is the same as THIS YEAR.

Dolphins go 1-1 against 2 percieved bad teams and look bad doing so.. Bills destroy the darling Colts the. Lose to the darling Patriots.

Miami opens as a 3 point fav.

You will get 70/30$$ on the Bills and the Dolphins win by a TD.

Vegas is smarter than everyone else folks, they knew they would get Buffalo $$$ in spades and yet they release THAT line??

I'm sure you've said that every year as we've been a juggernaut 7-9 and 8-8.

You keep preaching nothing but hope and anecdotal generalities. Beyond some of the various player limitations, this is the same coaching staff. They are who they are at this point.

I said EVERYONE seems to be doing different EXCEPT the dolphins I even put a ****ing sad face smily!!!I was making a general statement about all NFL teams(except miami lol) YOU were the one that ASSUMED I was talking about Miami

I was saying how Jacksonville and Washington are not necessarily the same teams that they were a year ago.

we may have improved the overall talent on this team, but the performance during these first 2 weeks - would not lead anyone to believe that to be true.

our DL has gotten gashed both games in the 1st half, we have no 2d starting caliber CB, we have no running game, and our qb still can't make decisions .... not to mention our DC + OC have not shown anything ....

just not what was expected this year ... it is a long season, but this most definitely is not a playoff caliber team ....

Did you also go back and watch and read pregame comments that the Dolphins defense would have a field day against the Jags OL which had given up at least 4 sacks in the previous 8 games and gave up the most sacks in the league in 2014.

By the way, they gave up more than 4 sacks the previous week against the Carolina Panthers. Also, over 95% of so called experts picked the Dolphins to win last Sunday and they were the biggest road favorite in Las Vegas. So obviously there were a lot of people who thought the Jags were a bad team.

I still think when the season is over, the Jags will only win 4-5 games and will end up with a worst record than both the Colts and Ravens.

Perhaps what we should not have been fooled into believing was that this Dolphins team was going to be any different than the three previous teams under this coaching staff. They have consistently lost games when they had the better team and even though they will probably beat a few teams this year who will end up making the playoffs. They will probably once again continue their up and down play of the past three seasons and end the season 8-8 again.

My views may been seen as negative, but it is extremely difficult to be positive about the organization as long as it has Philbin and this coaching staff leading this team.

I think we will need some strong special teams play to win this one. Good solid returns, maybe even a long one even if it's not a TD, and good coverage on both punts and kickoffs. This is Rexy so I'll call it now; he'll try some ST shenanigans and hopefully this time Rizzi has our guys prepared.
