    Well I'd much prefer his name was associated with a real metal band like Iron Maiden, but if he's going to be associated with Metallica, let's hope he continues to coach in the style of Ride the Lightning or Master of Puppets and not deteriorate into the style of Load, Reload, St. Anger or Lulu.

    Is that an Ibo in your avy? I had a 4 string when the SGs were still fairly new, but I got a Washburn when I went to a 5 string, I wanted something bigger and heavier but I do love the way those Ibo's have a think neck for playing faster stuff.

    Yes it is. It's a Soundgear. It's my "show" bass when I need it to look good. Sounds decent. I mostly use a BTB5. Currently waiting on a custom made 5 string V to be finished.
