It has certainly been a fun past few weeks with Dan Campbell in charge. Back to back orgasmic performances have our beloved Dolphins back in the race and the fan base doing cartwheels. The offense looks unstoppable. The defense is aggressive and smothering. The players are playing with passion, energy, and most importantly, they're playing for each other. The camaraderie has been outstanding since Campbell took over. Just like last week, we are seeing a TEAM out there. Guys who love each other and guys who want to celebrate the success of the guy next to them.

The first half of the Texans game was the most fun, and the most dominating performance I had ever witnessed in the 23 years I've been a fan of this team. I never screamed so much in such a short period of time in my life. What a day, indeed.

That's over now. Now we make a trip to visit Goliath on a short week. If ever there was a statement game, this is it. The Pats are easily the best team in the NFL. The world will be watching. If you thought we were playing with a lot of energy and passion before, just wait until tomorrow night. These are the type of games players live for. A chance to go on the road into the stadium of the league's best team and hand them their first loss under the lights in front of everyone.

Obviously, it'll be quite a task. We can't make too many mistakes. We need to move the chains. We need to get in Brady's face and make him uncomfortable. There is no magic formula to winning this game. We need a big performance all around. Offensively, defensively, and on special teams. We need to continue to attack. Be aggressive, and don't be conservative. With Campbell in charge, that won't be a problem.

Thursday night football. Under the lights. The world watching. David vs. Goliath. Let's show everyone what we are capable of.

    Let's go Dolphins!!!!!

Although I'm pumped about our turnaround... I think we still have to make some personnel changes and adjustments before we're ready to compete with the Pats for 4 quarters.

So do you feel they're lower, talent-wise, compared to week 1 last year, when we beat 'em? I'd put us about the same, pluses in some areas, minuses in others.

But one big plus at HC.

Are you saying we have minuses compared to the Pats or minuses compared to last year's Dolphins?

Man, Moreno killed it at that home game...was just an insane game to see in person. Stadium was explosive. In similar fashion Miller needs to lay the pipe like he has been doing and we just need to keep the tempo up and run the table. The screen passes have been killer as well, Juice is on fire and playing him in space can be so deadly. Kid just balls out.

Sort of surprised to see some pats fans thinking our D-line would be a nonfactor this game. I hope we can find an efficient way to play around the short/quick releases and generate the pressure we all know we are capable of... get in tbs face early... I wanna see some fire if we defer...line up out wide and just attack. Pats d-line can be scary as well but I was MUCH more afraid of houstons d-line going into that game. It wasn't a clean game for Tanny but he still killed it. The OL has been husslin'. I think Tanny has another really strong day win or lose.

Can't for game time. So psyched.

Ok.....but.....where are we worse than last year? I assume you meant talent, no?

Secondary mainly. I'd take Finnegan/Delmas in a big way right now.

Edit: 2014 versions of those guys that is.

I gotta agree with FinD on the talent issue. We're better than we've ever been talent-wise...and they're all clicking. Couldn't ask for a better scenario heading into Foxboro.

Just sounds like your making excuses is all. If they beat us it's because they're just that damn good.

That said, we play our game, I think we'll be just fine.

The Patriots last year started slow. They didn't have a slow start this year. Not saying we can't win, but remember the bench Brady for Garappolo talk? Up until a couple of games ago the Patriots were scoring more than their 2007 pace.

Eh, outcome independent on this one.

Really must win, however, the pats at home on national TV, signs point to not a good outcome.

I'm simply happy we have new life in what appeared to be a dead season

No excuse at all...it's just how I see it. I see some areas like WR as much improved with the secondary lesser than it was...most other stuff is pretty much the same, except the change at HC.

Tonight's game could be a turning point in our team's legacy. And maybe... just maybe... our coach was here the whole time.

I would be pretty shocked if we won this game.

I think we may be out of our league a little still and could easily see NE beating us by 2 TDs.
    Anything can happen though.

He was questionable on the injury report yesterday. Sounds like should he play, he will be less than 100%.

    Just for some perspective.

If Reshad Jones continues at his current pace, he would finish the season with: 157 tackles, 5 Ints, 13 PBU's, and 5 TD's over 16 games.

    Those are crazy numbers.

    ****ing skip bayless.

Phins have had exactly 1 hit that was questionable this year and that was the hit by OV. Suh has been on good behavior this year and Wake has never been that kind of player. I just hope they pummel Brady tonight. Within the rules of course.

Rain only helps Miami. Lamar Miller has been way more explosive than any of the backs for NE over the past two weeks. Dion Lewis is also injured. Planning on playing, but no way is he 100%.

Bayless and the guy he always argues with are just unwatchable, unlistenable, Etc. You can add Jim Rome to that list as well.

They didn't need to do this. The league will always go the extra mile to protect star QBs. What, are they going to penalize us BEFORE the hits?
