I didn't mean it was only the thill supporters who bagged on Miller. My point was where were u guys to defend Miller. If you're going to go with its the oline fault then that should be true of Miller. I don't know exactly WHO bagged on Miller. Nor do I care. But it was going on. I'm not the only one who remembers it. Apparently it was happening right up to the titans game.

I went back and read my post and what I should have said was "there's been a lot of hate on Miller and the thill homers aren't on a campaign to defend him". That would've been more accurate than how I put it. Regardless, moving on. I hope we re-sign Miller cause the guy has been the biggest reason for our offensive outburst.

What does me not naming names on who hated on Miller have to do with me naming you in regards to making stuff up. Somehow I'm not surprised you aren't following along. I wasnt going to go back and name exactly who all hated on Miller.

Same old stuff from the "twist and spout" crew, twist your words and spout personal attacks, there isn't a lot of "agree to disagree" with that crew, they are offended that anyone would have a different opinion.

Res is the least guilty of it though.

I've got great seats for Game 6 assuming it goes 6. If the Mets win it in 6 due to blowing game 1 and I get to see it in person then it'll make the agony of last night worth it. I couldn't have asked for a better World Series. What's the odds the Mets would play in a World Series just a 4 hr drive from my home?! I almost went to Game 1 but had carpet being put one of my flip homes. Sooo glad I didn't blow 3k on 2 tickets for that game. Whew!

There was no such "twisting and spouting" dude...if you can't see that, go back to grade school. My reading comprehension is off the charts...yours? I quoted EXACTLY what he said and he proceeded to argue he didn't, numerous times, while creating a side argument to try and dissuade what HE HIMSELF posted...? In the end, he changed his story.

Please, oh brilliant professor, enlighten me on how anybody BUT him was twisting?

It's all good...you guys have been exposed...you're suspect...you make up BS to spin a point you can't justify...and go personal on attacks...it's your M.O...we get it.

It's not about winning...it's about integrity...look that up right quick. I stand by what I say and expect others to. I'm not always right, nobody is, but at least I own it. Life lesson for you youngster.

Alex Smith had a perfect passer rating throwing similar throws to Jamaal Charles ;) Anytime you score 44 it's fantastic all around. But you have to convince me. This game was executed perfectly but let's be honest, these were Alex Smith throws, not Aaron Rodgers throws. They were perfectly thrown Alex Smith throws. But I want Rodgers. Tanny has Rodgers arm strength, not Alex Smith pea shooters.

His 36 fantasy points were EXCELLENT though. For fantasy purposes, I'll take Sunday's game all year!

Ya we'd all love to have Rodgers...no question.

There's about 30 other teams that would too...i.e. he's pretty friggin' rare. You're going to dislike RT for a LONG time if that's the bar.

PhinFan1968 is right about all of us wanting Rodgers. All I'll add is "perfectly thrown Alex Smith throws" are fine if RT can do it consistently. Without the great YAC he won't have the same production, but being a very good game manager is all many teams need to win the SB.

It doesn't have to be 100% rodgers. But why not? Why not hope Tanny gets near there? But I'd be very happy with a Romo level as well. Big Ben. All big throwers with good to great accuracy.

What I don't want is dink and dunk. Tom Brady and BB can pull that off. But we know Brady could chuck it too. Brady does whatever it is BB is cooking that year, whether it be throwing to Reche Caldwell as your best WR, to Moss/Welker, To two TEs, to just one tight end after the other was a murderer, to no tight ends and no WR (2013). Brady does whatever Brady is asked to do.

But I don't want that here. Tanny has a rocket. I don't want Alex Smith style throws for the next 10 years that would suck. Romo/Big Ben/Brees would be okay with me!

How did I miss the point?

He is literally saying in the above that if it wasn't 1968 that crapped on Miller than it was one of the other 2 of the 3 man Tannehill lover crew, which he later clarifies I am a part of and he didn't name resnor. So he named 2 of the 3.

I understood it just fine, you didn't though.

One thing I'm certain of. When Ryan Tannehill is off this team (whether it be by retirement or by being run out of town by these people) and we're back at those never ending QB searches with the Frerottes, the AJ Feeleys, the Cleo Lemons and the Chad Hennes, I'm pretty sure a lot of people will miss Ryan Tannehill.

Hey, I guess sometimes you'll only know how much you're taking things for granted when they aren't there anymore.

So you admit that dink and dunk can work for Brady and then ignore that dink and dunk just scored us 82 pts in 8 quarters? We are literally averaging 10 points a quarter, with dink and dunk and running the ball.

All the while basically pretending that the deep ball to Stills in the Titans game and the one to Parker in the Houston game (which were just gravy, TBH) didn't exist.

If you can win games by 20+ points by throwing the ball 4 yards and having your receivers do the rest, why would you even try something else?

Ryan Tannehill has a lot of things to work on, but his last two games should be praised and not harped on.

Tennesee game was not dink and dunk as this one. There is only one BB/Brady you do not try and replicate what they do. They run it 9 times and throw it 55 and win. How do you think that would work out for us?

Because that's not easy to replicate. When has this team ever had 90% of their passing yards be run after the catch? That's what we just did. It's not sustainable. Nobody is docking Tannehill. I'm saying, before I crown his *** I'll need to see more. If all you do is short passes, teams will adjust. It's pretty simple. It's easier to defend the first 15 yards of the field.

Tanny did an excellent job with the gameplan. Nobody is knocking him. But when we look at his growth, I'm pointing out that they haven't really expanded the field just yet. He's playing well. But to go deep in the playoffs and threaten the Super Bowl every year, we need to see more. over 50% of your passes at the LOS or behind it, isn't going to win you many super bowls. I want more. That's all. It's like having a great steak. A great beer makes it better!

We were arguing that the oline was preventing him from doing more. We were arguing that he didn't get worse with more carries. We were defending Miller.

And that's what I'm talking about...steady improvement. His deep passes are looking better too...like...way better...like because somebody taught him something simple he was missing better.

    That's all I ask, so I'm content.

Yeah and they figured it out. Throw it at the LOS or behind, and he can't mess that up at all! ;) It was one game of excellent yac. It was EXTREME yac. I'll still wait until the end of year to make any judgments.

Exactly. So don't go pointing at Brady, saying "See dink and dunk" because they will abandon the run and throw it 50-60 times against good run defenses like the lions and the Jets. When we do that we get crushed.

You're clearly the one who DIDNT understand it just fine lol. I literally said "maybe it WASNT one of you three...but it didn't matter" Read what you quoted for crying out loud. This is a perfect example of why you got called out for making **** up. I wasn't calling you out for Miller hating which is where I clearly said I wasn't naming names because I have no idea who all hated on Miller and don't care. I named your name in reference to making **** up and this is exactly why. I said "maybe it WASNT you of you three....but I clearly had a typo with the first YOU and meant ONE of YOU three. :pity:

Actually that's what the modern passing game has evolved too. It's a way to minimize the pass rush. Very few teams are centered around throwing deep. The pass rushers are to good

You're the guy who was saying Cameron wake is done and tannehill is average at best. Cameron wake exploded for four sacks a few days after your posts and tannehill set an NFL record for completions a week after that. After getting pummelled in the head by wake and tannehill's dongs for two consecutive weeks we're concerned for your mental health. We fear you might be posting while suffering from severe concussions. Please wear your helmet tonight while watching the game. Don't want the dong smash injuries to be permanent
