lol the rejoin on NFL is full pf Pats fans and I bet not a one of them know who Steve Grogan is.

 

Just play like animals. We do that, and we'll garner respect - win or lose.

But just to be clear, I fully expect a win tonight. Miami is a churning typhoon of chainsaws and fire, and we're in the midst of a story that isn't about to be erased by a group of cheaters whose fade to the cellar of the NFL has been long overdue. The year of the Dolphin starts tonight. 30-24.

 

Right, N.E. fans are the biggest band wagon jumpers I`ve ever seen. I asked a big mouth 30something self proclaimed "life long Patriots fan" who Drew Bledsoe was .... he told me it was a Patriot running back in the 80`s.

i agree with the guys on pregame. pats will take miller out of this game and tanny will need to keep up with brady. tanny will need to make plays tonight.

 

They'll try to shut Lamar down...but they won't. They're not that impressive in run defense...middle-of-the-pack basically, giving up over 110 per game, bottom third of the league with 4.5 YPC against. We just have to STICK with it, and Lamar should be OK.

They're going to load the box against the run and flood the short passing lanes as BB is going to attempt to force Tanny to beat them over the top.

 

Still doesn't mean Miller won't run all over them. Tanny is also very capable of beating them over the top.

 

I say go play action early and test it deep to Stills.. M

 

I never discounted that. If we can put a hat on a hat and wear their run D down then it raises our chances significantly.

we need two things to happen..

we need to keep our offense on the field..sustain drives, ryan needs to convert on third down, including running for a couple first downs.

suh and wake need to dominate their matchups, especially suh.. he just has to if your gonna be paid like that.

I think he's going to struggle tonight. You know the Pats are going to take away the short routes. That's all we do, and it's where we've made all our yardage the last two weeks. I woudlnt be surprised to see a pick or two on Ryan tonight.

Of course, that's typically because a Philbin lead team wouldn't adjust, so... hopefully we don't do that tonight lol
