DolphinGreg - I appreciate what you wrote. But all were asking is to refrain on one string. Just one. That's doesn't make you a bad person for not commenting and sharing your opinion. It just makes you thoughtful.

Wow! That's the self awareness I wish others would have when it comes to the Dolphins and posting on this board. Thank you!

I know people accept the criticism about the Dolphins. I do it all the time!

Mosely got called for putting his helmet in the chin of the QB, completely different.

Hi Greg. Nope, you're absolutely not one of the 3 posters I was referring to. While I don't always agree with you; you at least take the time to (sometimes too verbosely ;-)) state why you have a particular POV, which I do appreciate. For me, negativity isn't so much someone expressing an opinion as it's intellectual laziness.

It's the "seagull fans" (those who fly in, shat all over everything and fly off to another thread to do the same thing) that I take issue with. There are a few who do this every single day and it's annoying as Hell. I see their name and skim over their post as I already know it's something petty, negative, and not worth reading. It's like they can't stand to see someone happy or post something positive and they have to take issue with it. And Lord forbid you say something not negative about our QB.

This is absolutely the best board I've ever been on in my 15 years of fan posting going back to the old Herald days. I've just adapted to ignoring those I consider not worthy of reading as it's always something negative or trolling. Anyway, if the statement made you do some positive self-reflection, I'm happy for the impact it had. ;-)

Honestly, I've no idea why Tannehill is so polarizing. No one thinks he is elite and he probably never will be, but he's often the least of our issues. And, like him or not, that little bastid is bar none the toughest SOB QB in the league. He at least has elite toughness and durability. ;-)

Agree with your sentiments on how we all should be treating each other. Well said.

I still don't think the hit Mosely gave was a penality. I am not sure what more the could have done. He did not lead with the helmet. If a guy is 6'4 and the other guy 6 ft he is going to hit him like that. I could see if he led with the crown.

It just seems odd a player can body slam a guys head, and nothing be called.

What is the difference between you being critical and someone else being critical?

I respect you my man. You a good guy. I'm known for being positive but after a loss I'm very positive. I have to cool down then I come back and talk Dolphins. I don't like to be negative and I rather do the opposite. Plus encouraging people helps too [emoji2] Go Dolphins forever!!!

The play of the defense was what was commendable given how we were down double digits early and playing with a lot of spare parts. Was great watching them hitting people in the mouth.

Hard for me to label it a great team win though. We stole it due to the incompetence of Mark Sanchez and a couple of Eagle mental mistakes which called back touchdowns from Ertz and Austin.

My favorite part was the deep pass to Lamar Miller. Just wished it was for a touchdown.

He has really come on and completely proven me wrong, especially as a pass catcher.

I personally hope he gets re-signed.

Miller really has run like a man possessed. Runs hard. Drags the pile. Resign him RIGHT now. And really excited about the new kid Ajai too.

Again, that "backup" drove them down the field at crunch time and had two TD's negated by mindless mental errors on the part of his pass receivers, especially Miles Austin. Then of course he went full blown Sanchez and threw one of those patented passes to a defender to seal the steal for the Dolphins.

I gave cred to the Dolphins D because they were punching people in the mouth. Doesn't change anything that it wasn't a clean victory where the entire team was running on all cylinders and walked away from FedEx with a dominating victory.

Yeah he has been working really hard to get to this point. I'm wishing the line opened more holes for him to run thru. Next season with Ajayi, it can be a fearsome running game with the one-two punch combo.

Yeah he has my vote for a new contract. He has earned it. Plus I like that speed and power combo that Miller & Ajayi brings to the table. People keep talking about Ajayi's power style but he has shown me some speed as well in those long runs he has been doing lately.

We should have extended him after last season when it was clear he was pretty good. Now his price tag is rising.

Regardless, they need to hurry up and resign him before it's too late.

I don't disagree with you, but rules are what they are, any HtH contact with the QB will usually be called, regardless of intent, so while I agree with you in principle, the rules are what they are and that gets called every time, I knew it when it took place, the rules just aren't always fair.

I agree, I think it is BS call. Seems we get it called against us, but never for us. The hit on Tannehill should have been roughing the passer without question. Just call it both ways is all I ask.

I thought Rishard Matthews played another terrific game. I think he is clearly the offensive MVP of this team, hands down. Caught 5 of the 6 passes thrown to him for 93 yards and made the crucial block that allowed Miller to score running down the sideline on a pass in the flat. Why he is only getting targeted 6.3 times per game is beyond crazy. If he were targeted 10+ per game he would be in consideration for a spot on the All-Pro team.

I think Rishard is at the top of the re-sign list this off-season. It would be foolish to have developed him like Miami has during his rookie contract and now that he has blossomed into an elite WR let him walk.

Angers me to think how long Philbin held that kid back.

Yea, I was scratching my head about that, when the kid played he seemed to be making plays, but Philfin was more like a boyscout den leader than a football coach.

Philbum not only held him back, but he held back this entire team ever since the day he was hired. I couldn't believe Ross extended him last year, what a moron. Campbell may not be God's gift to coaching, but I'd take just about anybody over that lame excuse for a coach we had for waaaaaaay too many years.
