Johny football! If we are going to continue to be an 8-8 team (Johnny will be benched a lot due to being hungover on game day} at least give me some good headlines and a pulse on the sidelines.
I'd try to steal Fitzpatrick from the Jets as a stop gap QB since he's hitting FA. And trade Tannehill for as much as you can get. Hopefully 2017 will be a better QB draft class.
RT17. If Manziel weren't such a dipstick I'd go with him, just because he's a playmaker ...... but alas maturity is a word he'll never understand.
What if we could do a trade package with New Orleans we get Payton and Brees and we send them Tannehilll and a draft pick or two?
How about we amend this to include Fitzpatrick, Manning and other free agent QBs available this offseason? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Given the choice of just these four, I consider them all mediocre or worse, so I might as well stick with Tannehill. What I would rather see is the Dolphins do whatever is necessary to move up in the draft and take Lynch or Goff. I think both of them will end up being better NFL QB's than any of the four you listed.
Can we take all four and let them compete for the job. They are all pretty equal with the only distinguishing feature for Tannehill being that he is not as much of a prim donna as the others and not such a head case. Either way there definitely needs to be a completion for QB in Miami putting more emphasis on Tannehill earning the job, rather than being given the job because of his draft position.
I personally voted for RG3. Out of the 4 quarterbacks, he's had the most "complete" season so far with a 102.4 rating in his rookie year. His career QBR is 90.6 compared to Kaep's 88.4, Tannehill's 84.9 or Manziel's 78.5. He also leads the 4 QB's in completion percentage, so just "by the numbers" he's the best choice of the four. He was also benched due to a change in offenses, not necessarily a decline in productivity. He did have five picks in '12 and sixteen in '13....which is the only real difference in his ratings between the two seasons. While Manziel probably has the most potential of the 4 QB's in terms of ability, he still has a lot of growing up to do. I never did like Kaep anyway and I think Tannehill has been outsmarted by his own coaches on what he should be as a QB. So again, that leaves me with RG3...unless we're talking about a starter for 2-4 years down the road. Then I'd take Manziel. But for the 2016 starter, I think RG3 is the only option of the 4.
I chose Johnny football, seems to be playing better each time he actually plays. he had the 49ers pissed off yesterday
Not really much of a choice there, though Manziel is certainly limited by his substance abuse problems.
Voted Tannehill. But all these options are like having to choose between a crap sandwich or a diarrhea wrap. They all suck
