Since the Dolphins dont play until Monday there are still a lot of games going on today .It will give you chance to compare the teams and players with ours and to hope the Bills ,Patriots and the hated Jets get beaten....badly http://www.nfl.com/schedules
tedd ginn found a solution for his bad hands, stickum on these cheating gloves...must watch his 75 yard td recep in slow up close..lol...its obvious something is rigged there.
Ironic if Ted Ginn Jr is on a team that goes 19-0 who was drafted by Miami Dolphins And his O Coord is a Shula, Irony and Ron Rivera who played on the 85 Bears and lost to the Dolphins.
I'm curious as well. Replay on that catch definitely leads to some questions about that catch as the ball appears to defy gravity and stay stuck into Ginn's hand. I was surprised by another catch by Ginn in that game as well where he snagged a ball that was thrown behind him. I just put it down to luck, but thinking back, Ginn has caught several like that this season, where he's appeared to make outstanding adjustments to the ball and to have snagged them.
I am not surprised by Ginns late success .He has always had the blazing speed but not the physicality to be a top WR . After many disappointing years he has turned into a wily veteran .We didnt have the patience to wait for that to happen . Plus he has a stud QB throwing to him which he has never had before .That helps. As far as cutting Gillislee when we had questionable backups at RB at the time I think it was a mistake cutting him in favor of LaMike and Williams .He will never be an all pro but he was better than those guys.
I never wanted to get rid of Ginn to begin with. He was over drafted, and fans never forgave him for Cam Cameron's blunders, but I thought he was outstanding as a returner and a decent deep threat. He was a stej killer, IMO. Always seemed to play well against them. As for Gilly, he couldn't stay healthy here. Happy for him finally scoring a TD in his 3rd season after spending most of the year on the Bills Practice Squad, but I'll take Miller and Ajayi over him any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Bit early to write Williams off yet. He has very good hands out of the backfield and is still developing. YMMV.
Bengals fell to the Steelers. Sounds familiar... Going to be interesting to see how serious Dalton's hand injury is, though I'm not sure there was a huge drop off in production from Dalton to McCarron.
Gina would only thrive with a handful of QB's and Cam just happens to be one of them. Dude throws perfect deep balls off his back foot and its usually a coin flip on if Teddy hauls it in.
You would think that they probably have enough talent to get past SF and BAL without Dalton. DEN, who knows, with Peyton's status up in the air as well. If they can get the bye, then maybe Dalton is healthy for their first playoff game. Denver plays the Steelers next week. If PIT wins, then the Week 16 game between the Bengals and Broncos is likely for the #2 seed.
So I think it's safe to say the bills, and tyrod, aren't that great but benefited greatly from getting to play us twice.
That team has just owned us for 25 years. No matter their talent level, they match up with us always.
New England offense is so good its sickening....you could take any teams OL and skill players and Bill and Tom would have them in a SB.
AFC is getting weaker...hopefully ARI or CAR make it out of the NFC, both matchup well and would be favored IMO.
I don't even expect Carolina to win a playoff game. Seattle is going to go in there divisional weekend and beat them.
Certainly possible...but CAR did go into Seattle and make quick work of that defense. Carolina would be 3 point fav imo for whatever that is worth.
I've been a Carolina fan for years now, and Newton is currently playing on levels that most people didn't know even existed. I really don't see anyone beating them unless it's in a high-scoring shootout, because you're just not going to stop Cam. He was literally toying with the defense yesterday, dancing around the opponent and laughing about it when they finally sacked him (after 8+ seconds in the pocket)...there's not another QB on the planet with his poise and confidence at this time. He makes everything look so easy and more importantly, he's having a great time and oblivious to the pressure of producing for his team.
