I'm conflicted. The best thing long term is for the Phins to lose and get a better draft pick, which means they could find a way to win this game, right? Never sad to see us beat the Pats! My other thought is that we lose badly, then draft the next big bust... which is also the Miami way.
Hopefully history will repeat itself .There are parallels with another game we played in 2004 in a similar situation .We had Jim Bates as an interim HC and Feeley as our QB .The Patriots were highly favored yet we squeaked a win and ruined their chances at home advantages throughout the playoffs. Sure doesn't look like it so far. Although, our run D has been poor all year, so I guess it makes some sense to see them so run heavy early. They'd be foolish to not win though, home field advantage is huge for them.
What to look for....can Ryan tannehill play with any type of feel..he's had a couple different options that were open so far but he didn't see them..he went for the first read...just play off the grid..
I love Landry but we cannot funnel our offense through him, IMO. He needs to be a support player, not our main offensive weapon.
If Ryan sees that early the spin move to the outside to avoid it was totally there and open..would of been a huge play
