Hello, First post but I read all the time. I just had a quick question about the game this Sat. I am currently living in London, England and was wondering if there was anyone who knows a way to get the game. When I lived in Paris I paid to to get it streamed from Yahoo (Yahoo NFL Ticket or some such) but that was for a regular season game. Does anyone know of a similar service that will allow me to stream the game? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!! B
"I was saying Boo Urns!" Love the handle. Anyway, do they have Sirius radio in England? You could always listen to the game that way.
There might be a (somewhat semi-legal) stream available but it's too early to tell. I'm going to be looking for one so if you still need it by Saturday evening, drop me a private message and I'll tell you where to go - if it's streamed that is. Some games are, some games aren't. Dolphins games are often among the ones that aren't.
Well, I normally use Internet Radio if the game is not on TV: http://www.thegamelive.com/index.php And it looks like he may no longer maintain the site..
Haha, well with a last name like mine, it was inevitable that I would get a nickname like boourns. I guess in a worst case I could stream the radio online, but I REALLY want to watch the game. I am really pumped to see how the newbies play as I am briming with optimism (but to be fair, I am always overly optimistic). Also, quick secondary question: does anyone know why my prifile snap is coming up?
welcome to the site dude. i'm in the same boat as you (i'm in washington) and want to watch the games. i have the benefit of watching the NFL Network re-air on sunday, but would like to watch it live on saturday as well. there was an internet site i remember a couple of years ago that was mainly for european fans (they could stream it)... but for the life of me i can't remember what it was. i'll go check the other site in a search to see if i can find it.
Welcome aboard, we have many over the pond fans on the site, you may want to try and track them down. Boomer most likely would know. I'll PM him and tell him to check in on this thread.
I'm living in the Caribbean, so I'm going to hope someone makes a torrent of the pre-season game and then download after it airs.
Yeah I remember on TOS there was a program you installed, then a website you went to. We could watch all the preseason games as it aired on the local station. Video was crappy, was choppy, the GF thought I was crazy, but watching it live is so much better
Yeah, I believe that is what many of us were using last year... Me, I'll wait until Sunday to catch the re-air on NFL Network. Waited this long, what's another day?
those aren't posted real-time... usually the next day, and just highlights. if we're waiting until the next day, why not just watch it on NFLN? but is sopcast the site others are talking about? is this site still up and running? link?
Hey dude......not sure if it's one of the live games on Sky; worth checking. If not, there's usually a torrent. Vendigo probably is the man to try. If I come across anything I'll holler. Miami Dolphins UK fan club is a place to check out as is the NFLUK.com site as they might know. You could always try the very excellent Armed Forces Radio.
Sopcast is merely a tool that allows you to watch the streams. There's a site collecting these streams but I'm not sure if it's wise to link to it publicly since it's not exactly legal - moderators? The problem, however, is that there doesn't seem to be anyone in the Miami TV market streaming Dolphins games. Some teams are pretty well covered, others aren't. If we could find someone willing to stream the games, then we would be all set.
Thanks to everyone who sent me replies (and/or welcomed me aboard!). For the season, I think I am going to buy the NFL Game Pass from Yahoo. Need to be sure I can watch it because I will go crazy if I can't watch it, and the Sports Cafe in Haymarket is hit or miss. Now if we can just get the PS games. Seems like we have a few options though so my fingers are crossed.
Didn't hear it from me.... http://www.myp2pforum.eu/nfl-cfl-afl/24820-nfl-week-preseason-week-1-a.html Always an excellent source.
U guys should check out www.streamtvnow.tv. You have to pay a small fee but it is well worth it. They usually have all the nfl-games on. (fins-bucs will be on ch. 10) just check it out.
That's what I use...usually works out pretty well. They don't have the stream up yet...hopefully soon.
Yeah...right after I posted that I noticed it was up. Glad to see they're using one of the HQ streams for this game.
Never tried sopcast, but very similar to MLB pass if you have ever tried that. I have a relatively slow DSL connection and it worked fine about 90% of the time at decent quality.
