Apparently he has a history with concussions back from his college football days which is a bad sign for his future

It was a pretty nasty fall he took. Hope he's ok though... He and Cass have been a breath of fresh air since being called up.

Today we all learned Shane McMahon took a giant bump at Wrestlemania which couldve ended in a serious injury, for nothing

I enjoyed Payback, I actually thought wrestling wise it was a better PPV than WM was. The only match I didn't like was the Women's match because of the horrible ending, I wish I'd never have to see another Montreal screw job type ending. I do wish they stopped with having in ring promos on PPVs too, especially since the WWE was teasing a Vince announcement and it was literally a cop out and just wasted 20 minutes of time.

Glad to see Enzo only got a concussion out of the injury, it looked a hell of a lot worse.

I'm actually shocked Bret Hart agreed to be a part of a show that will do such an ending. And I'm shocked they would make Charles Robinson the referee to do that. Now he will get bood.

Oh wait, this is the women's division.. people already forgot.

Still weird Bret agreed to that though.

I'm surprised Bret would agree to do it too but money talks. It was sad watching him try to put on the sharpshooter too.

I doubt Robinson will get a reaction from it, most people won't care enough and the fact is people will simply forget about it in a week or so anyway.

Bret actually suggested the ending, according to Bret. The original ending, if true, was even lamer than what we got for that Women's match. Even so, Bret said it fell flat because the screwjob ending is played out beyond belief, at this point.

Rumor has it that Black Friday is here. Apparently some long standing veterans are on the block?

I think I read the same interview as you but the original ending was the screw job but after the match Bret would block Flair from leaving ringside or something lame like that. Bret suggested him and Nattie putting duel sharpshooters on the Flairs. Either way the whole thing was bad.

As far as Black Friday, realistically I'd have to guess some of the dead weight in the women's division like Cameron, Tamia, maybe even Summer Rae are goners. For the men Mark Henry (he's on the way out anyway), Social Outcasts, Sandow, Jack Swagger, Ascension, and Fandango probably wouldn't be missed. R-Truth since they don't have anything for him, maybe even Goldust. Darren Young is dead weight but I doubt they cut him because of the PC stuff involved.

Should be an interesting day though.

Adam Rose will soon be joining that list, in my opinion.

Completely unrelated note: This Roman Reigns/AJ Styles feud might be the best thing the WWE has done in a LONG, LONG time. Very nuanced, great psychology and tremendous use of the tag teams related to them. It feels like a genuine dislike for one another and to top it off, they are doing a fantastic job of bringing it back to the WWE Title. I hope it doesn't end after Extreme Rules because I think these two can have a nice run through SummerSlam at this point. I can't say enough nice things about this program.

Also of note, the IC title picture is a fun one, and Jericho and Ambrose managed to make people care about a plant and jacket. Those three things combined with the always entertaining New Day, a compelling sibling story line with Shane/Steph and an inoffensive Women's Title feud, and this might be peak creative season for the writers.

It will be interesting to see what happens when Bray, Orton, Cena and Rollins all make their returns over the next month.

Yeah just coming on here to post about Rose. Between the arrest and his out spoken rants against the WWE's wellness policy on social media I'd be shocked if he wrestled for the company when his suspension is up.

Completely agree with the rest of your post. The WWE has really been on a good roll lately. It's too bad it's post WM that they're doing this because if this stuff was being done in January and February leading up to WM it would get a lot more notice.

There are rumors that there will be more roster cuts after Extreme Rules. Among those being cut one is supposed to be a surprise release, another woman's wrestler and someone else considered a superstar. Any guesses on who they could be?

Also Christian was cut from his performer contract but word is he still has a contract for Network stuff. Makes sense since he's pretty much retired and won't be allowed to wrestle anymore.

Yeah like I said I've heard a lot of good things about it. The problem I have with the Network is that there's just so much content that there's literally no time to watch everything. And there's still a million things I wish they added too.

So take this rumor with a grain of salt but apparently Vince is getting tired of the Roman Empire and is interested in bringing up guys like Finn Balor, Nakamura and Samoa Joe sooner than later to boost the main roster. Triple H is apparently still pushing hard to book Reigns strong.

The WWE is also concerned with AJ Styles' back and ankle injuries. Styles had to be taken off house shows this weekend to rest up for Extreme Rules and if his back injury is worse than expected Finn Balor would be called up sooner than planned.

Again take these rumors with a grain of salt as they sure as heck sound like fan boy wishes.

I thought RAW was boring last night. Ratings seem to prove me right. Not a good go home show before the PPV if you ask me.

Yeah it was pretty blah. Seems like they ran out of ideas on how to keep the feuds going. I mean how many times have we seem Usos vs. A&G the last few weeks and some form of Zayn vs. Owens vs. Cesaro vs. Miz in singles or tag matches.

Sunday should be interesting, with Styles beat up physically I wonder if the WWE pulls the Finn Balor trigger but then again NXT kind of needs Finn still, especially with the cage match in June vs. Joe.

Most likely I bet Reigns wins and then the lights go out and when they come on the Wyatts are in the ring and beat down Reigns and the Usos to end the PPV.

Is it just me or are the Usos so boring. They're good wrestlers don't get me wrong but they have no personally and are just stale. They really need a repackage or something. I just hate having to sit through their matches lately.

They are absolutely hurting from their association with Roman. The tweener thing has worked for Roman, but it has put his cousins into purgatory. They really need to let Reigns go full heel and use the nuclear option. It would help him become more defined and drag his cousins along with him. Get rid of the bright colors on the shorts and face paint, and officially be Roman's crew. Maybe after Extreme Rules they will shift them in that direction.

The strong rumor right now is that Roman will defend the WWE Championship at Summerslam against John Cena...in Brooklyn. That crowd is gonna have a fit.

Heel Usos without face paint, their current ring gear and the war call entrance would be interesting. Like I said, I think they're fine workers and a good tag team but are just painfully stale. I think it would absolutely help both them and Reigns to be heels.

Yeah that Brooklyn crowd would crap all over the main event but you know what, I bet the match itself would be pretty good. Reigns can't carry a match on his own but he's shown that if he's in the ring with someone much much better than him he can put on a good match like him vs. Bryan, Brock, Triple H and AJ. I wonder who the crowd would side with.

I'm actually looking forward to watching Jericho vs Dean Ambrose... but I have a late 90's mentality of how that match would play out, pretty sure I'll be let down. Seemed like they finally created something that looks interesting, in the levels of buried alive matches, first blood matches, and other matches like that... but get the feeling it won't be as interesting as it is portrayed.

It's a lot better than his old bulldog finisher. I think the double armed DDT is fine for Ambrose and it's over with the crowd.

The DDT is such a great finishing move, it's too bad that literally everyone uses it and it's gotten to the point of being like a body slam or regular suplex where you see it in every match, same with the superkick.

A lot of ways ER can go tomorrow, I am excited for it.

I see cesaro getting the IC title and perhaps leading to a long feud of Owens and Zayn leading to a payoff at SS. Their feud is too good and doesn't need any help (i.e: title on the line)

Would be an interesting twist to have Vaudvillians win the tag titles off new day. I have to say the Enzo injury was brutal but it was the best thing to happen for the Vaudes and creative has made them look like monsters which I never expected when they were down at NXT.

I absolutely love everything about new day and pray they're still together for mania 33 so I can see them live.

The main event has so many ways it can go. Cena screw job? The obvious Balor move up to screw Aj and join the club forcing Aj out leading to a feud.

And my favorite.....Seth Rollins coming out and......screwing Aj. Leaving Roman as champ to face cena. And giving Aj to Seth.

Of course I want Seth to get the title back. But if he's coming back as a face per the rumors I don't see a logical choice here. Vince and creative want Roman to be the guy. Would they put a very predictable mega face on Rollins against him? Do you put him against an over Aj? Ambrose?

It's a tough pickle. What do you guys see with Rollins coming back? (Who btw without Balor or Nakamura up is my favorite with Bryan out)

Thank goodness for Rollins! Huge Pop, makes me look forward to Raw and MITB even more now. Saved that crap ending. Last 2 ppvs Reigns takes out Styles with one finisher and completely no sells tons of chair shots and finishers on the other end. They are doing Reigns little favors with the way they have booked him, if he continues to win like this it will render the main event useless, of little consequence...

I enjoyed last night's PPV. The IC title match and WWE Title match were really good. The rest of the card was solid too, although the cage match was a little too long and a bit on the boring side.

Rollins being back definitely makes things better, I liked his new ring gear and it looked like the guy spend some time in the gym doing his rehab.

RAW should be interesting tonight leading to MiTB.

Also I'm sure everyone knows but Cody Rhodes quit the WWE over the weekend. He was frustrated with his position on the card and wanted to dump the Stardust gimmick but the WWE didn't see him as anything more than mid card talent.

He's definitely better off leaving the WWE and either going to Japan or ROH to build up his name and brand more. The Stardust gimmick was pretty dumb and they should have dropped it once his Goldust feud was done with. I personally don't see Cody as anything more than IC/US title holder but stranger things have happened.
