Greatest of All Time has passed away due to respitory issues. Rest well Ali, you suffered way too much the past 3 decades.

What an amazing life. The Greatest. His boxing career is incredible but I've always respected his courage in refusing to go to Vietnam, standing up during the Civil Rights era, man what a life, RIP.

He took huge stands that people kind of forget after time, people don't understand what kind of risks he took to refuse to go to Vietnam and when he changed his name. He stood up to the establishment in a way I just can't see very man modern athletes doing. I can't see a modern athlete of his fame and caliber risking a multi hundred million dollar contract and shoe deal to take a moral stand like he did.
