Yes, I'll take "Things I have in common with Kevin Durant" for $400, Alex. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LOL I love social media.
That guy Haralabob Voulgaris just posted on Twitter ""Good game rest of league. Give GSW the trophy now and we'll go home" Now obviously he's not a reporter, but he is a professional gambler, and to do that and make a living you need inside info So I'm not denying it out of hand. Or he could just be trolling and having fun
Or he's just playing around. Remember, GS can't sign him now, unless KD is taking $10 million, so you will hear about trades and renouncements first
I can see how a guy who makes a living playing the odds could take Durant to GSW as a given. I actually wonder if adding Durant may not help that team that much. I just wonder if you end up taking shots away from Curry, etc.
Boston brings Tom Brady. Miami brings Nikki Spelstra. You want to be surrounded by people drooling over a quarterback, or be surrounded by people that look like this? Check, and mate.
http://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/report-mavs-to-offer-barnes-max-deal-warriors-expected-to-match/ Saying the Warriors are expected to match, they can't do that if they sign Durant right? Edit: Ah I think they are saying if they don't get Durant. Still a max deal for Barnes is just silly.
Keep in mind we are still in play if Durant returns to OKC on a one year deal. I'll take any result over him taking Boston though, that would be insufferable
Valgouris may have been playing around regarding GS's interest in Jamal Crawford. Right before that tweet he was going back and forth with people who thought it would be a good move and he did not
"I will give you a signed contract with my name on it, for one night with your wife" Indecent Proposal 2.
Watchout from realgm who has been 50/50 on his insider stuff said the following The Heat are preparing other plans should Durant not swing their way, Dragic/Mcroberts for ariza/beverly is one The Heat underestimated the market and Wade would eat every dollar they have left which is the reason theyre preparing to part ways with Dragic
Alex Kennedy says Durant is strongly considering Golden State, will make his announcement tonight on the players tribune
Alex Kennedy, who is not exactly Woj but is somewhat legitimate stated that KD is considering Warriors, meeting with OKC and decision likely coming via Players Tribune late tonight
Terrible trade. Just dump McBob, give Wade his money and fill out with minimums. I'd rather hold on to Dragic. Too good a player on too good a contract. Ultra valuable at deadline if you need it
More stuff on Heat that is troubling to me Ultimately it's on Mickey's hands what he wants to do with the team. He can go full nuclear and build around Hassan and our two second year players. Or he can pay Wade 3 year max and let him retire with Bosh and let our talent go through a 3 year pause.
I don't know that I buy anything that watchout guy says. I'm sure if Sec has something he can share he'll share it. But if KD does go to GS, that's just ridiculous. Don't know how you'd stop them
I really have trouble believing the Heat had no idea what the market would be like. I understand the casual fan getting caught off guard but how does our front office miss that badly? Just bad. Very bad
Tyler ****ing Johnson who didn't play after the all star break and Joe Johnson who only joined the team after the all Star break leave the team and the Heat are 50% of what they were? LMFAO
Did you forget Deng is gone? And the huge uncertainty with Bosh. Will Wade be the same player as last at 35? That comment isnt too ridiculous.l when you break all of that down. And Joe Johnson was huge for us after the all star break, gave us the spacing we didnt have.
This is what worries me. You're relying on a 35 year old guard and a guy who has been crippled by blood clots the last two years.
Yes Luol Deng is gone. He replaced Chris Bosh surprisingly adequately when Bosh went down, and was just average before he took over Bosh's position. Bosh by the way, scheduled to come back. Wade, the last time we saw him, was playing well enough to will his team to victory against some of the best in the conference practically by himself with everyone around him injured. Joe Johnson was good for the Heat for a stretch for basically one reason. He was making threes. At an incredible rate. But so was Josh Richardson. And Josh kept that up in the playoffs while Johnson went to ****. You say he provided "spacing". I think he just made threes for a stretch, after missing a **** ton of them in Brooklyn, and then missing a **** ton of them again in the playoffs, and was a mediocre third option for scoring, and was totally incapable of playing a pace faster than a snail. If Luol Deng, Joe Johnson and Tyler Johnson going elsewhere puts your team at 50%, you had a pretty ****ty team.
Already speculation if Durant goes to GSW that OKC looks to trade Westbrook. That would be a hell of a trade deadline deal if we can somehow get a hold of Russ. We really dont have chips to offer though...
How about this. If KD leaves for GS, do you call OKC about Westbrook? No way he stays in that case right?
I really can't believe anyone here thinks Wade will be a goner or the Heat didn't prepare for these contracts this off-season. Have we forgotten how Riley and co. orchestrated the plan to get LBJ & Bosh here over the course of several YEARS through trades and signings? A lack of faith is the last thing I have with this FO.
We do, but itll require Dragic Winslow and Richardson. And then you need a commitment. Too much to risk though we would have his bird rights. Westbrook and Whiteside sets up the foundation of your franchise for the next 5 years though.
