If theres a chance at a talent like Westbrook, you take it. Got a feeling Durant stays put and so does Westbrook. I think we would be hearing GS making moves right now if they knew something was going down, they dont have the capspace yet for Durant. About 2-3 players would have to be dumped.

You would still have to fill out the roster but if you blow everything up, by the 2017-2018 season it will look like a winner.

Looks like KD would only be persuaded to leave OKC for the Dubs. Miami will have to move on to the next plans.

Anyone notice that the Heat and Spurs, the two best organizations in this race, didn't allow a peep out of the meetings.

No "it went well", no "blown away", no photos of Tom Brady, etc.

Neither may get KD, but both will be back amongst the elite soon

Someone give this letter to OKC, all they have to do is replace the Lebrons name with Durant, and the ohio/cleveland part

If he leaves, let's hope OKC fans show a bit more class.

FWIW the only thing I heard about the GSW meeting was that it went long and that Durant was impressed.

The rumors all point to it being between GSW and OKC. Regardless, I hate classless behavior so if OKC losses out, I hope they take the high road.

Sacramento has made Seth Curry an unrestricted free agent.. Very good shooter, but withh the pay scale, hes bound to get 3 year 36 million from some team.

OKC board all think KD is out, some trusted poster/insider they know says KD has informed them hes gone. We will see if true soon.

As I posted earlier, my guess was that KD wanted to leave OKC and that it would come down to GSW and Mia. I said then that GSW was the better team but that Miami might be able to persuade him that they were the better fit.

It goes to show you, even with all the success in Oklahoma, it is still incredibly difficult to sell that city to a multi millionaire, even if hes your own.

His endorsements would skyrocket just about any other place that isnt a ghost town like okc, sac, milwaukee, or gotham city (cleveland).

A friend of mine who works at the Oracle Arena said the Warriors have asked for use of the Arena for a possible "pep rally" next week.

Pep Rally?? You dont say?? I thought only classless organizations had Parties before you win Championships...I wonder if the media and the rest of the country will dump on Golden State the same way they did Miami...

Looks like KD will pick the Dubs. It's the smart choice. They are the best chance to win it. Could even break their own regular season record.

    Durant is an alpha..

Theres a difference between what we did and what GS may do. We were bounced out of the first round twice before bosh and lebron got here. It was Wade as Michael and a bunch of Tito Jacksons before theygot here.

When they signed here it was the 3 of them, haslem and mike miller, and a bunch of minimums. The biggest pyroll in the NBA that season was dallas and they won the championship that year.

Durant is adding himself to an already 73 win elite team that was a bulll**** suspension and injury from repeating. Durant is too alpha to do that. I dont know. I mean join the spurs, theyre a very old team and i can understand youre going to continue to make them better. But GS? Will they challenge the 1972 dolphins as the second perfect team in sports history?

No reason to leave westbrook unless you join gs. Plus no one really cares how you win as long as you win. Just look at peyton this year, the guy was a corpse but everyone was blowing him on national tv.

A lot of people care how you win. No one would have thought lebrons career was complete until he won a championship with cleveland. He would have been the barry bonds of the nba.

Stephen A Smith was able to get out of the Philly Inquirer after he announced Lebron got here and was right. Got him a multi million dollar salary in ESPN because of it. So now every person out there is trying to get a career bump.

OKC won't risk losing another player for nothing. They'll try to get a commitment now or they're trading him before the all star break. So Dragic, Winslow and Richardson better not get too comfortable.

Presti would be lynched if he loses both his superstars for nothing.
