In the NBA underdog's rarely win a series and the Cavs were huge underdogs. I said before the series that the Cavs would need luck in the form of some combination of an injury to a GSW star, atypically good shooting by the Cavs and/or atypically poor shooting by GSW. The shooting situations occurred and they got a suspension instead of an injury.

Cleveland was an underdog but once Lebron went full Lebron they were the superior basketball team. Plus GS played HORRIBLE defense down the stretch.

Draymond missed ONE of the 7 games in the series, let's not be too dramatic here.

This doesn't sound good. It's from the owner of Lyfe Brand, which has a close relationship to Wade.

Sounds like Wade got a 4 year 80 million offer on the table from some team and we arent going togive him that.

Not with Lebron alone. In addition to losing Green for a key game, they needed to have other players shoot far better and for GSW to go cold. It's not dramatic to understand that that was a huge stroke of luck.

Guarantee it ain't from a contender.

Miami would be irresponsible to offer anything over 2 years.

They played better basketball for 4 games. And if you had never seen either before you would've thought Kyrie Irving was better than Steph Curry and Lebron James was a man amongst boys.

They became the better team in the middle of the series. And now after making a great career decision, Lebron pulled off the greatest accomplishment in NBA history. Why? He is better than anyone on the floor by a wide margin.

Team who played better won. End of discussion...lets talk some realistic points...like how the Knicks may finally be a top 4-5 team in the East.

The Knicks?? Why because they added broken Derrick Rose and a Joakim Noah who is coming off the worst season of his career?? Theyll be back in the lottery lmao

Hes meeting the Bucks still. Looks like he wants to try to squeeze 3 year 70 million from Riley.

Stay firm Riley, do not give in.

Does not look like theres trust from both parties.

Who in the East is any good? It's a top heavy conference. Doesn't take much to be a top 5 EC team.

I think the east got weaker overall.

Cavs Must re-sign JR, still dont think theyll be as good as last. If im an east team with capspace id offer just to keep JR from cleveland and make them weaker. But it looks like we like to help them (phil jackson lol) not hurt them

    Boston improved slightly

Detroit got a little but better not much

Toronto got weaker, lost Biyombo who was huge for them.

indiana and Knicks have both got better, both are probably most improved in the East

Miami got weaker, we are going to sign an unmotivated/unhappy Wade because we tried to put priority on a top 3 player and he wants to be treated like hes 25 not 35. Boohoo

If Wade really has a 4 year 80 million offer, God bless.

We'll see you for the statue unveiling and jersey retirement

But it's impossible that he has that offer. The Over 36 rule would be invoked and he'd have something like a $40 million cap charge in year 3

    Well tim was suggesting 80.

Just note that we offered 2 year 40 million which is more than fair

And Wade still wants to meet with the Bucks.

He is trying to squeeze 3 year 70 or 2 year 50.

We can do 2 year 50 if we find someone to take on McRoberts, his contract is fairly cheap and should be easy to find a suitor.

But after the two years is over, its time to move on to the next era.

If we can dump McBob and give him 2 for $50 then fine. But right now we still have McBob. We have literally offered him every single cent we have to offer. Maybe Whiteside should give a bit back, I don't know. Wade should ask him himself.

Im very disappointed that Wade has pulled the same song and dance 2 years in a row. He said he didnt want it to turn out this way. What is Riley supposed to do?? Not go after Durant?? Not sign Whiteside?? Wade knew he was gonna be taken care of. He goes on and on about being a lifer and it being his house. Instead of being here with the organization as they try to put the team in a championship form, hes out there partying it up, having LeBron fill his brain up with garbage...leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Where were all these teams lining up to offer 20 million last year?? The Heat did their part, they ponied up, and continue to do so.

If you look at their mentions for the last two hours it's all Cleveland people talking about this.

They're probably just taking advantage of the situation to get some publicity. They're trending now

Highly doubt a company like that reveals its clients or passengers

good for him if he joins the cavs. i dont really care, im ready for the new era. Let's face it, even if Wade comes back to Miami on a 3 year deal, the next time Miami wins a championship, he's not going to be a member on the team. That's just fact.

i wonder if Lebron would take a paycut to make it happen, though im not sure that would still make any difference they dont have capspace regardless of what lebron signs.

We have to find out how good or great Winslow is going to be, we need to build around Whiteside. We need to see what Richardson will become, what Briante and Mcgruder is. We will have plenty of capspace next year to sign someone to a max deal, and when Bosh is out we'll have more capspace to sign someone else.

LeBron taking a cut would have no affect on what they could offer Wade unless he takes like $5 million.

So if Wade wants to go to Cleveland it's the minimum or the mid-level, or a sign and trade I guess

    Anybody want Love, lol?

lol riley really dont give a **** what gabrielle likes or dislikes, the Heat organization is the reason why she lives the life she has. She's not living in an oceanfront property in Miami without Wade/Heat. I've seen an episode of that show Being Mary Jane, believe me they're not investing much in that cast, probably gets a nickle an episode.

Oh yea and Lebron was the best player in the series and dominated long stretches in the series to win games for his team. I wouldn't call a couple of all time great games in the NBA Finals by Lebron and Kyrie anything lucky, they were both dominant for good stretches. GS didn't play well and Cleveland did, it wasn't a lucky victory, Cleveland outplayed GS. Your, it was lucky take is ridiculous. Who cares who was favored, what does that have to do with anything?

I don't think Cleveland would trade Love for Wade, I think if Love can put up numbers close to the type he did in Minnesota that would be a good deal for Miami. Love gets a lot more flack than I think he deserves. He takes less shots and fits a role with the Cavs, he's actually a good team mate and a good player. Now his defense is a tad suspect....

What Wade wants is money. Every report has stressed that he will not play for a penny less than $20m next season, he didn't like the fact that the best player on the team had to wait for Whiteside and Durant to handle their business and he wants to make the Heat sweat a little. He wants to make them wait like they made him wait. The diva crap will be over soon.

LeBron is not taking any pay cuts. One of the big reasons he left Miami.
