I went Monday to give Earl Mitchell some artwork, but I didn't really get a chance to talk to other fans. I know it's not really a great place to talk about my work because we're all focused on the field, but I hope that I can when I go back in the next two weeks. I created these 2 digital paintings for him. He wanted to accent his fullback abilities, so I made these. I also gave him a Tannehill piece and a Landry piece. Please let me know what you think of these. I'm currently working on a Jelani Jenkins piece that I hope to give him shortly. Maybe I'll see some of you there! contact me at glad_sad_mad@yahoo.com if you are interested in my work
You might want to host the images on imgur or elsewhere because plenty of people here no longer have/use a FH account and they cannot be seen without that.
This is the finished piece I'm giving to Jelani Jenkins if you guys are interested. I'll let you know when I'm going back to camp. I hope to meet some of you there!
Digital painting is a method of creating an art object (painting) digitally and/or a technique for making digital art in the computer. As a method of creating an art object, it adapts traditional painting medium such as acrylic paint, oils, ink, watercolor, etc. and applies the pigment to traditional carriers, such as woven canvas cloth, paper, polyester etc. by means of computer software driving industrial robotic or office machinery (printers). As a technique, it refers to a computer graphics software program that uses a virtual canvas and virtual painting box of brushes, colors and other supplies. The virtual box contains many instruments that do not exist outside the computer, and which give a digital artwork a different look and feel from an artwork that is made the traditional way
That is correct! I always make sure to say DIGITAL, so there is no confusion or misunderstanding about the medium. Personally, I prefer it because of the flexibility it allows, but I totally understand if people don't like it.
This is a portion of a larger piece I'm working on for forum member, dirtylandry Let me know if you are interested in a custom piece. contact me at glad_sad_mad@yahoo.com for more info
obviously it takes talent to do it, but it would be interesting to compare that and one you painted by hand. Neither would look good if I tried it
Lol..You make a good point. I suppose I get comfortable in one way of working, but I should try other mediums if I really want to challenge myself and be a complete artist. I guess I'm a little stubborn that way.
