Miami Dolphins Color Rush Uniform Speculation

Just ordered the Landry color rush jersey. I am excited to get it! I hope he signs a longer term contract

 

I'm really dissapointed that they seem to be going away from it since it was introduced a few years ago. There's very little gear to purchase in that color on the team store now. I had one in my Amazon wishlist for a while, and when I went to check to see if the price had gone down, I found it wasn't being sold any longer.

 

The color is beautiful, and it looks well made. Not a fan of the generic Dolphins font across the front, though. I have two hoodies already though, in the traditional shade of aqua. Looking for both long and short sleeve tshirts. They used to have this awesome long sleeve shirt with the logo on one side of the chest that I loved. Tannehill wore it sometimes during interviews. Seem to have missed my chance. Weirdly, it seems like I see a lot of pictures of players training and around the facility in gear that isn't sold to fans.

 

I think that might be what they replaced it with. The other looked like a thin, looser tshirt material, and not the "exercise shirt" fabric like that one. The logo was also larger, and lower. But good research!

 

I like the uni's .... but the helmet doesn't match it at all. The stripe down the middle should be orange.

 

One helmet rule.

 

I think the helmet stripes are just decals that can be easily replaced. That's how the throwback uniforms are possible.

We're going to be wearing the home team's colors while playing at their stadium. Confuse the fans. Brilliant strategy!

 

I don't mind the orange, the problem with color rush crap is that there needs to be a break in the orange on top and bottom. Like a white belt or something, because anytime the top and bottom are the same color it looks like a onesie.

I agree! The all orange uniforms look atrociously hideous, and should be reserved for the only game in which the visiting teams end zone has three hags with a cauldron,
incanting:

A black outlines would of been cool

 

Would have completed the pumpkin look, certainly.

 

I see some teams like the Bengals and Jets are doing all white, might be cool to do all white but have orange numbers/lettering/stripes instead...idk might be cool to see a mockup of it and see how it looks. I understand the all orange since we already have all aqua. My fear was they were gonna go with all aqua with orange numbers or vice versa.

 

Right now, it looks like our "away" color rush uniform is all white, including white socks and white shoes. Seems that they've done that with a lot of teams.

I love when people infer that the color of uniform we wore makes the most minute difference in how we play. I like the superstition but no color uniform could have made Stills catch that ball on Sunday or have made Gase go for three instead of going for it on 4th.

 

I don't think that it effects the way that the team plays, but at the same time, I always want the team to look good.

 

i like them but like someone mentioned in a previous post the aqua stripe on the helmet might look better orange
