We won. A 30-24 win counts the same as a 30-0 win. I refuse to get mad or frustrated with my team in a game we won, especially after we had two heartbreaking losses the first two weeks. It wasn't pretty and there were some cringeworthy moments at times but the Dolphins gutted it out and got the W. We had 115 rushing yards and improved in that aspect of the game over the previous two weeks. So many have clamored that RT17 can't win or isn't clutch, but he made plays when it mattered today in spite of a shaky game. We were supposed to beat the Browns and we did beat the Browns.

They lost the game. Not so sure we "won" it.

Doesn't matter a win is a win. Would you have rather lost the game? Jeez!

4-12 vs 3-13 won't matter much in the end to be honest. Im not a results oriented person per say. I watched a BAD football team...and that sucks no matter what the outcome.

I feel like that is the wrong way to look at it because I know id feel 10x worse if we were sitting at 0-3. The team needed it you could see from the celebration at the end of the game 1-2 is way better than 0-3 for sure.

It must suck to be mad when your team wins a football game. If you can't enjoy the win, what's the point in being a fan?

Atleast Tannehill had a decent game overall again. A win is a win.

I expected to see an inspired well rounded team, not a group who needed Cody Parkey to **** the bed to claim a victory. It's a Win yes...but also an indictment on how bad we are.

94 QBR? 6th rated qb for the week? outplayed flacco, roethlisberger, newton, palmer etc?

The game is 4 quarters guy. 94 QBR is 94 QBR. 3 tds is 3 tds. Those QBs I named are a collective 0-10 and didn't even throw a single one between them. Tannehill is the reason we won.

You want to harp on him for what? 2 overthrows while getting hit? 2 ints WHILE being hit & pressured? Please.

Not to mention RGIII lol. Our resident money ball poster actually posted he thought GMs would draft RGIII ahead of Tannehill if you could redraft them today. This place is priceless

Im not harping on anything. He didn't play well at home against a BAD defense missing its best CB with very little pressure.

Hes not alone in this mess of a team, but he sure as hell isn't some bright spot either.

I wasn't real hyped up about being 0-2, and I'm not real hyped up about being 1-2, but hey, I don't get being down about this right now.

The defense looks about what I thought it would look like (not good) and the offense struggled to execute plays, the QB made a couple of bad throws, and we got incredibly lucky that Browns players were dropping like flies in practice this week.

And we won! The passing offense has its hiccups, but the yards per pass attempt was pretty good, and the yards per rush attempt was pretty good, and we scored four touchdowns (30 points) and we won a football game that we badly needed to win. And by the way, I know Cleveland is bad, but I'm sorry, the Browns played their hearts out today. That team was jacked up, hyped up, fired up, and well coached today and they gave our listless football team everything it could handle.

What I want to see going forward is what this Dolphins team can do when it's energized and emotional and ready to win some games, because I'm actually kind of impressed at how well they've sleepwalked through these first three weeks.

He might be the only bright spot we have, actually, and the numbers show that.

you laughed when i said he had a good game overall because the game is 4 quarters..... when he did. that's pretty much harping.

Cool. Next time I want to know how a player played...I'll google his stats.

I defended Ryan in game 1 in which his "numbers" were uninspiring. Why? Because figures lie and liars figure. He played better week 1 vs Sea than he did today when you take everything into consideration. But hey...go ahead and tout it anyway you want.

Tannehill played a bad game today then, right? You are disagreeing with me saying he had a good game overall? Actually I didn't even say good, I said he had a "DECENT" game overall and you laughed at the notion. he just posted the 6th best of QBS in week 3 with a 94 QBR, but again, That's bad. Because things.

Wow  you really went out on a limb by saying he played better than his numbers showed in the game with the Stills drop..... Pretty much EVERYONE is saying that.

It was a classic Tannehill game. Some great throws and some horrible ones. But when you factor in the competition, the lack of pressure, being at home I think it was his worst start of the season. I wouldn't of blamed him for the loss if Parkey could make a kick, and Im not going to pretend he "led us to victory" either.

Its Ryan Tannehill. He's been our QB for over 4 years...is this not what we are used to seeing? Good throw, bad throw...good half bad half...round and round we go.

So no, I dont think he played a very good game or a very bad game. He played a very Ryan game which is almost always somewhere in-between.

That's a very good point. The Browns were up on Baltimore 20-2 last week and had a colossal meltdown to lose 25-20. Today could have been the team assuming they would walk all over the Browns because they are the Browns. The Dolphins got jipped twice by quick whistles from the refs to bail the Browns out right before they fumbled the football. The defense wasn't terrible, but you have to give the Browns credit for making some plays. It will be interesting to see the team's intensity on Thursday night playing a good opponent in primetime.

LOL.. that's actually a compliment, even if you didn't intend it that way.

Anyway, obviously I was referring to RG3 the way he played as a rookie. I was very explicit about that and yes I still think a team that thinks they could keep RG3 healthy enough would take him over Tannehill. If you want to argue against that, I think you'd have to say you don't think RG3 would remain healthy regardless of which team he went to because performance-wise RG3 in his rookie year did something way above anything Tannehill has demonstrated.

You say lack of pressure, yet even though there wasn't many 'sacks' on him, both overthrows and both ints were due to pressure or actually getting hit. So yeah. Take those away and where are we?

You can think and believe what you want, but he played a good game overall and he won it for us. You might have 'seen' something different, and that's okay.

For reference. PFF graded Ryans play today at a 62. Cody Kessler graded at a 65.

Again, Im no saying he played horrible...im not saying he should be benched, cut or traded. But he didn't play well today. And all his friends on the team were nice enough to do the same.

Me and another poster who is very pro Ryan saw an open guy for a first down. Ryan held the ball and thats what happens. You think he "won it for us"?

Someone had to put points on the board and lead the team down the field to score (4 times) while our defense was dead set on letting 3rd/4th string QBs beat us for the 2nd time in a row.

They allowed 17 points. Your QB who "won it for us" gave them 7.

Not that allowing 17 points at home to the Browns is inspiring...but neither is the offensive performance we have been getting so far this year. Again. PFF 62...he didn't play well today.

He did though. and I'm not going to fully knock him for a pick he threw while being hit, although it was a terrible throw. ( The irony here is that you say he wasn't being pressured yet his 4 biggest mistakes he is being knocked for were due to pressure.)

Also it's not "17 points to the browns". That'd almost be nice if it was the case. It's 17 points to HALF of the browns, with a mixture of a 3rd and 4th string QB. 2 weeks in a row now our defense is getting torched by teams that are coming close to having to forfeit due to running out of QBs to play. You are giving the defense more slack than Tannehill.

Can't agree with anything or anyone that wants to say that 65% completion for 319 yards , 3 touchdowns ( lead to 4 scoring drives total) is bad, Even if it's PFF. He even hit like ~8 yards PP which is nice.

Patriots sure looked like they should forfeit last Thu while beating the Texans 27-0.

And again, not saying he played bad merely pointing out he didn't play very well. He was pressured because he held the ball too long because he missed an open guy for an easy first down. He had plenty of time to throw on that play. Pressure is a very poor excuse in this case.

And the defense has struggled, but they are likely going to be top 10 in points allowed after this week. They are playing better as a whole than the offense.

I am glad he wasn't satisfied with the performance because I want the coach to always push the team to do better. The offense wasn't on its A game, and it is encouraging that they put up 30 despite that.

what team are you watching?. the offense is way ahead of the defense right now. The only thing the offense needs to do is learn to run block. The defense is still a long term work in progress. missed assignments all over the place. much more than the offense

You realize this is literally 100% due to the fact that we are playing against 3rd and 4th string QBs right????? They AREN'T playing better than the offense, AT ALL, especially considering this.

Is the defense going to be top 10 points allowed if Brady played week two and CLE had EITHER starting QB today? No. You realize those teams probably drop 40+ on us like Cincy is more-than likely about to do Thursday, right ??? If SEA didn't **** the bed against us and the other 2 teams had their QBs we are probably closer to 32nd in points allowed.

The defense is getting rolled by nobodies, but it's okay because the point total is low, LOL.

Meanwhile Tannehill has been in the upper bracket of QBs every week this season thus far. with a ~90 qbr on the year. But he's equally as bad as the defense.

The offense isn't "way ahead" of ANYTHING. They have made their fair share of mistakes this year. This team is a collective average bunch from QB to DT. Why some of you insist on pretending otherwise is to be expected but still mistaken.

It's almost like he's watching a different game. Atleast I'm somewhat confident the offense is going to put points on the board, and they have, every game. Every time our defense is on the field I have to pray we aren't going to get carved up by nobodies to the point where it becomes a meme. This is shaping up to be the worst defense we've had in a long time.

So will you take some credit away from the offense due to what Cleveland was missing on defense today?? I doubt it. So to me, you are making emotionally based posts and cherry picking to fit your narrative. Good news...you are in the majority.

TOP 10 IN POINTS ALLOWED LMFAO.

We did it boys!!! We kept 3rd and 4th string QBs down to top 10 points allowed! The one loss to Seattle makes it all okay.
