Just for the record Mr Favre....

Also he was wide open for GW TD and Flacco overthrew him.

    This guy is a baller.

Tannehill got me a solid 10 points in Fantasy Football. I'm glad for that.

My bad. It was a difficult catch using that technique. Run straight at the defender and then dive back where you were in the first place. Tough catch for sure.

I thought Tannehill had a pretty good game, he kept the offense running smoothly except for a few times in the end zone. He had some good 3rd down conversions, made solid decisions, good changes at the LOS, a couple of big plays and 2 TD drops.

I don't agree that it was a standard "game manager" type game for him, especially when looking at it from a YPA standpoint (7.9), which is usually THE stat that defines whether the QB just managed the game or whether he actually produced big plays. His lack of TDs made it seem like he just managed the game, but I disagree there, he made some big plays when we needed them.

DO agree that he needs to do this more consistently, though. His biggest problem is stringing good games together.

Mike set a record? If you meant that long catch in *that* offense, then "even a blind squirrel"... and in that Trestman offense he should have thrived and been almost AB~esque, but nah... BTW, that was Jenoris Jenkins who ran him down. Mike's losing a step. Remind me again how many TDs Mike scored and who won?

Also, didn't the Ravens just fire their OC for getting all Philbiny and Lazory with the passing vs the run? Should've been feeding the ball to the backs FTW.

Conversely, betting the Giants have buyers remorse over OV and the rest of that over hyped DL. We're getting more out of a sucky Andre Branch for the money.

Guess you missed it when Jerry Riiiii...Mike Wallace was behind said CB by 3-4 yards. He's been doing that for years. Maybe we can right Philbs wrong and trade Parker and a 3rd to get him back.

Oh, Hell no... even you in a drunken haze wearing your tattered Wallace jersey wouldn't mistake him for Jerry Rice back in the day. Rice had hands and could actually run while catching the ball and tuck it away. Wallace is a speedy pansy with duck butter hands. Maybe he would've actually scored on that play if he hadn't been struggling with the catch. lol...

Stills took his job here, not Parker, but yeah, not happy with either of those guys. Parker disappears for qtrs at a time, and Stills is just as weak as Wallace. Actually, Stills and Wallace aren't much different, except we're not wasting the same amount of money on him and not having to deal with his sh*t attitude.

Teams gameplan Mike Wallace. They don't gameplan Kenny Stills, although they may hit him up for dress fittings.

Ok, Donny... way to pull something out of context again, and act like Wallace set the league on fire. Here's your gameplan for Wallace - don't give him a clean release off the LOS and don't let him get behind the defense. Giants screwed up there. Wallace struggled with the catch and Jenkins caught him and pulled him down. His other catches were 3 for 27 yards on 9 targets... *yawn* that's what 45% catch percentage? About the norm for "no hands" Wallace. Catch around half his targets, have a long catch, celebrate and strut around like a little banty rooster, then disappear again.

And yes, I'm sure all DC's we face forget Stills is on the roster and ignore him... get real.

Stills? Bahahhaa! He is much better than that tranny.

Dont be upset that Mike Wallace is playing at a high level, we've all been wrong before. I once thought Ted Ginn would make a Devin Hester like impact. I was wrong.

Hate to break it to you Stanley, DC's don't bracket Kenny Stills

Targets don't mean anything to me. Catchable passes do. Wake me up when Stills has double digit TD seasons. Can't win games without scoring points remember?

    Thought his name was Brett?

Kenny Stills truly is a poor mans Wallace. If Wallace were still here him AND Ryan would've made good things happen for this offense. But hey...Philbin knows best.

Lol... nah, I'm bored. Must be the booze or smoke you're feelin. Yes, Mike is ballin alright... at about his normal clip of around 53% catch rate. He's got 100 and change odd yards and a TD on Stills. Much to celebrate for you I guess. Too bad Stills "Wallaced" that ball against Seattle, or they'd be virtually the same this season and you could brag that Stills was ballin' too... lol...

Put down the PBR and the Playgirl mag with sticky pages. I sense some serious Stills love which is uncomfortable to say the least.

And not sure where these myths of him dropping passes here came from. He was here 2 seasons and in one I believe dropped 3 balls ALL SEASON for the 2nd or 3rd catch rate in the NFL.

Ask your buddies to not call for a few minutes, dial up aol.com and google this.

    LMGDAO... sure, Donny.

And so now it's Flacco who can't throw to Wallace. That's your excuse for Wallace continuing to only catch around 54% of his targets with his 4th QB? And chill on talk about winning games. Wallace hasn't won sh*t. He's got 3 TDs on the season FFS.

PBR and playgirl? lol... cheap beer and entertainment is more your forte. Too much time sitting in smoky casino's under hoodies and shades for you.

2nd or 3rd? So he couldn't even lead the league in that category either... poor Mike. Always coming up short...

And who said he was dropping passes? I said he catches about half of the balls thrown to him and your little buddy Donny started nipping at my heels.

You have made claims he has bad hands...I showed you that wasn't the case. Now you want a top 3 deep threat in the NFL to lead the league in catch % also? Lofty expectations.

And for christ sake, hoodies and sunglasses!? My greatest attribute (other than keen football senses) is my pretty face. No way and hell I'm not flaunting that sum*****.

Wasn't the movie Diggstown based on a town like WTF, MS? Helluva movie though.

Lofty expectations? I expect any WR to catch around 60% +/- 2%. Landry catches damned near 70% every game. Parker has been disappointing this season, but at least he'll go up or lay out for a catch. Never seen your boy do that.

Can't speak to your face, but according to stall walls at the Casino, you're a good time with a "purty mouth"... or so Travis says... :king:

Never seen it. I'm from Pensacola. Moved to Hattiesburg about 10 years ago. Never heard of Diggstown, but most movies with James Woods and Oliver Platt are pretty decent. Louis Gossett was a bada** back in his Officer and Gentleman days. Will check it out sometime.

Let me help you with some basic football. A WR who is a fantastic deep threat, will never have the catch rate as a slot guy who specializes in WR screens and quick slants.

It would be as silly as me laughing at Tanny for not having the rushing yards per game as R. Wilson.

This is why Im here, to help folks understand basic things like this.

Side note. With Ryans improved deep ball and the rapport he and Wallace had in 2014?? This would be one of the deadliest Fanduel combos of all time. Too bad Phibin was a racist.

Which is why I said 58% to 60% for a guy like Wallace instead of his 44% to 54%. I only mentioned Landry's 70% in that it's such a phenomenally high catch rate.

Tannehill's deep ball "issues" were always a myth. If we can keep fat Albert healthy and get some Tunsil some shower shoes, he and Stills will hit a lot more of those deep passes.

    Here, you'll enjoy this...

    Miami Sports @MiamiSports
Ryan Tannehill: 7th in average yards per pass 3rd in 40+ yard completions 3rd in 20+ yard completions 12th in overall yards 30th in sacks.

Far from a myth. That was made up by the same apologists who believe Ryan is Dan Marino if Branden Albert plays and if he could audible he was Aaron Rodgers.

He missed Mike on deep plays very badly. These weren't issues I or people who like Wallace just decided one day. It was nationally recognized and acknowledged. Credit to Ryan for working on that aspect of his game and actually isn't bad at it anymore.

Again, would've been fun to watch those two together..but nah lets take away the QB's best target (118 rating). Did wonders for his 2015..

C'mon now, when and where did anyone say he would ever be Marino or Rodgers? I suspect they were pointing how Danny had HOF and probowl cast mates and that Rodgers took a lot of sacks his first couple years of starting. Still both were elite talent and generational for each team. We'll never another QB like Danny and it's not likely the Packers will have another Rodgers. Looking back tho, we could have had Brees, Rivers, or Rodgers ourselves, but for our sh*t GM/HCs...

Tannehill and Wallace were a bad marriage. Pros and cons to both, but just not a good fit. It happens and the NFL has a history of such.

118 rating was just good for what, the 2014 season when Mike was forced to do more than run down the field? We need a WR to help draw coverage.

Wonder why we don't see Ben/Wallace on this chart... Kidding...

Thank you for that...the 118 rating would be above some damn good combo's. They were a bad marriage that went to counseling and made it work (2014) When Wallace was pissed in the Jets game it wasn't at Ryan it was at the Bill Lazor/Phibin. He should've been retained because if you look at 2015?? They needed each other much more than people think.

So, pro-football-reference.com does this awesome thing where they compare players of each position. The following WR's had similar careers to what MIke Wallace has had:
