Good call. Gillislee is underrated Reshad or Shady... Who would have impacted the game more? (assuming Mccoy misses the game too) Hard to call it.
I don't know about that. They call him "Touchdown Mike" Plus... Miami is 31st in run defense with 882 yds allowed Buffalo is 1st in rushing with 998 yards and 1st in YPC with 5.6 Now before you tell me the running game was all Shady, consider this: Buffalo RBs also rank 1st in the league with 4.8 yards per rush before contact. Before contact. That is insane. For perspective, the next closest is HOU with 3.3. There are some major factors in this game, though for the Phins. Kiko and Mario will get up and play for this one (about time, Mario). When, and only when Mario wants: Mario Smash! Looking to prove letting them go was a mistake. Always a big storyline. Add to that a big win vs Pittsburgh, Shady out, and suddenly this game is alot closer than anyone would have believed just 4 days ago. Stark contrast from the doom and gloom.
stats don't lie. Miami will have to attempt to win this game, despite having the worst rush d vs the best run offense
Bills running back LeSean McCoy wasn’t able to finish practice yesterday. He wasn’t able to begin it today. Via Mike Rodak of ESPN.com, the league’s second-leading rusher was not on hand for the start of Bills practice Thursday. Bills coach Rex Ryan said yesterday that McCoy had some “tightness” in his hamstring and was getting checked by doctors. If he can’t go, Mike Gillislee would get the start against the Dolphins. He has 17 carries for 117 yards and two touchdowns this season.
That 31st ranking in run defense is misleading. The first quarter of the season, the defense was gassed every game. Reshad being out could be problematic, but McCoy being out, even more so. If we can sustain drives like we did against Pittsburgh, then I love our chances.
Think according to ESPN, they're listing McCoy as, officially out, and he may miss more time than just this week. Got this info from my bro, so it's second-hand, but he's usually accurate.
