Bias aside, That might have been the worst called game i've seen in a while, if not ever. I lost count on holding penalties not being called on Wake alone. The blocks in the back, the no calls on RTP. just mind-numbingly bad by the refs.
i usually look down on people that say games are fixed but by the 3rd quarter i wanted an investigation into the referree's bank accounts. that was just ridiculous
The reffing was absolutely awful. Impressive win overcoming that crap, where it often allowed San Diego drives to continue, and Miami drives to flounder.
We could probably fill a 5 minute highlight reel of missed calls from this game alone. Get real and use your eyes.
Facts are facts, man. Tannehill gets hit illegally all the time, and rarely is it ever called. Wake gets held on every rush, and is almost never called.
We won and we're blaming the refs. Yeah the penalties were valid, but they were not fairly called. The same play that was a penalty for us wasn't for them. I will say though that I don't get as upset at this type of bias compared to completely bogus penalties that change the outcome of the game. So I was disgusted but not too upset today at the officiating.
Keep crying after a win. Sometimes you get the calls. Sometimes you don't. We won but you all need to stop with the loser attitude. You guys are pathetic. And it's true: Maxwell holds every play. And I'm glad he does.
Yes.. sometimes you do... and sometimes you don't... and then sometimes there are games like today where people with functioning eyes can see the missed calls are SO CLEARLY LOPSIDED AND BAD that it appears to be a hose job. Just stop.
I've been here scant months less than you. In the words of the warrior poet Lil Jon, Don't start no ****... won't be no ****.
I'm not trolling. I just disagree with you. Don't be so sensitive. It's possible to have opposing views.
you came in here, called everyone in the thread 'pathetic' then got butthurt you got called on your ****
You've also been here long enough to know how annoying trolls are. So you stop it. For everyone else, the officiating was a complete joke. Maxwell would barely get a hold on a shoulder pad and the flag threw every time. Parker got felt up in the end zone from snap to whistle and its a no-call? It's hard not to be upset about that- the refs were San Diego's finest.
After all the holds and PI called on the Fins' DBs, not to call the undressing of Parker was just inexcusable. And with that pass rush, not one holding on the SD OL, IIRC? Really?
the last two weeks the secondary has held and interfered a lot, but I think it is part of a bend and don't break mentality
I thought the most egregious call was the no call on Parker in the end zone after the defender had a fistful of his jersey and also wasn't playing the ball. This after about 15 holding / PI calls keep the previous San Diego drive going. To call it every play is bad ebough, but to not call it both ways when it's blatant on the other side is terrible.
I agree, one of the most one sided refereeing I've watched in a while. Wake was getting mugged all game. I think the dolphins have to send the film to the league office.
When your arm is extended to hold, it's gonna get called. Those holds where your arms are in close, rarely get called. Look: Our DBs did some holding in this game. It's okay. Typically I saw them hold because they got beat, and it was going to be a big play or TD. That's just smart football and one of the reasons we won the game. Rivers is a savvy vet, and we knew he would shred us on some plays. But, because of great pressure, some amazing play by Kiko, occasional good DB play, and holding, we held their offense in check.
Thanks for mentioning this, I thought it was just me. I was screaming at the TV. There were at least 7 first downs that the Chargers received on holding calls. Some of them were ticky tack BS calls for sure. The one play towards the end where they called holding on our OL was a BS call when we completed the long pass for the first down. No holding on the Chargers OL,, seriously? But we get one on a critical play? It was really sad to see all the flags that were marginal calls at best.
i watched the game with my dad,a patriots fan who hates the dolphins, he said the refs were ****ing the dolphins. that pretty much says it all.
I mean...in the past I feel like people say this and I roll my eyes. But this year in general I feel like I have been astounded, absolutely astounded by how one sided our games have been. One call not going our way here and there is one thing....it seems like a complete lopsided season of calls/non-calls. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
