Almost everyone in this thread hoped Moore would do well and expected he would be fine. Thank god we are playing the Jets and they have mentally checked out of this game. However, saying we are "better off" with our backup QB over our starter for our last 3 games with (playoffs on the line) is just not true by any means.

Not even Keyfin expected him to have a 4+ TD game. Gotta give Gase credit, too, and the WRs have made some crazy good plays.

Either way, Amazing amazing game by Moore. So ****ing stoked right now.

Matt played well in this game but if I see anyone trying to insinuate that we're better off with him...We're getting onto my ignore list right there.

Wow!.. after 5 years on the bench, that was amazing! WAY better than I ever thought Moore would play, especially after .. yup that 5 year layoff. I guess you just have to take the inevitable INT's from those low velocity balls that just hang in the air with the explosiveness that Moore brings to the offense. We'll see how he does against Buffalo.. in Buffalo in the winter. He does well there.. man we can win in the playoffs with him if we have to.

The other MoM was Suh (and also maybe Wake). Suh was just in BEAST mode today!!

And finally we blow out a team. When was the last time we basically ended the game at the end of the 3rd quarter?? Great job Dolphins!!

Oh.. it's pretty clear we need to get a LB for our run defense in the 1st or 2nd round of the draft.

Yeah.. can't say that after just one game, but if Moore plays like this for 3 games in a row? I might be willing to make that argument then.

Wake with 1 sack 1 int and 1 FF. We got to witness Wakes first career pick! Him and Suh are just inhuman.

What a game. Feels so good. 9-5 from 1-4. Holy ****.

That was Matt Moore's third 21-point or more win in 13 starts with the Dolphins (23%).

Tannehill has six in 77 starts (8%).

Some amazingly ugly throws from Moore tonight, that ended up getting the job done. Pretty incredible performance. The Jets though... they suck. Wow, they quit pretty easily. It Matt Moore can eliminate that duck INT (albeit... off his back foot due to pressure) we're going to be ok. Not sure if we'll be good enough to beat Buffalo and NE... but I like our chances to take 1 of those 2 which should get us in to the tournament. Guy played well today. Got lots of help, good game all around for the Dolphins tonight.

Great win for the team! Nice play by Moore, glad his first start was against the Jets, hopefully he can take this success and use it to play in rhythm against Buffalo!

At that point you'll likely have somewhat of a QB controversy, where it'll be tough to sit the guy who's engineered a December playoff run, in favor of one coming off an injury and who never has.

You know.. this season is an unqualified success no matter what happens the rest of the way. We found our HC (best news since Shula retired) and we finally have a winning season. So any further success is just icing on the cake.

But seriously.. this next game against Buffalo is going to tell us so much about what this team is made of. I don't think it's overstating things to say that game is the biggest game of the season. More excited about this team than I've been since.. 2008 I guess.

Won't take anything away from Moore but there will be no controversy, I'll start taking some bets if you wanna get em in early, lol.

    Wait...what?

Tannehill was the QB who was under center that got the team to where Moore had a chance to seal a playoff spot.

    Don't get this twisted.

Yeah the 3 game streak of Moore playing as well as today is purely hypothetical right now.

Let's just take this one step at a time. Buffalo at probably 7-7 after playing Cleveland isn't the Jets who've already given up.

Helluva game by Moore there, gotta give it to him. Some of them throws looked like they'd be picked, but they got there. I'll take it.

I wonder if the individual who's starting to push Tannehill aside for Moore, does the person think Tannehill won't lead us to victory against a very bad jets team?

We should probably define controversy first. My definition is whether the media discusses it.

Oh boy. Had to know that game by Moore would cause some guys to immediately try to question if Miami is better with Moore. Let's just remember it was the Jets secondary, and a lot of QBs have had career days this season against them. But let's be proud of Matt Moore for a great game regardless! I couldn't be more thrilled to get to watch a huge game in Buffalo this Saturday with playoff implications.

Interesting.. Mike Rodak is reporting Bills are eliminated from playoffs if Broncos win, regardless of whether they defeat the Browns or not.

Thing is.. it helps us more if the Broncos lose.. oh well.

I dont want to rain on it...he threw 4 tds...best throw the corner route to gray to put us at the 1 great throw

But his eye discipline in his drop is non existent

We got the w which is what we needed from the qb that tannehill full hip to lower leg cast news is a serious buzz kill

Play in 2 weeks? Maybe if hes super man

Yeah playing in Buffalo in December when the Bills are mediocre or above (as they are now - mediocre), is always a tough task. If he plays this well in Buffalo I will believe they could not only make the playoffs, but maaaaybe actually finally win one. Though in Pittsburgh or in Baltimore will be tougher than even New England at home I think. Maybe.

Just enjoying this big win this week though! Will worry about Buffalo Saturday.

    Not with that lb play

Be glad you got a qb in petty who is trash

Miamis counter by joseph today was dime which was smart but you can only play that if you get teams into long down and distance...the lb situation at buffalo is a serious problem

As is qb eye discipline...gase did a good job of limiting the eye exposure but its there

The deep post to stills he had him or dvp wide open on the play...fantastic man coverage vs blitz play design

Brandon albert is the unsung hero of the offense...to play like he has with a dislocated wrist at left tackle well i see ya big fella

Tunsil is playing with a lack of strength that screams off season surgery in his future to me...tough for a guard to lack strength...very bright future

We need the Bengals, Patriots, Browns and Eagles to win.. Patriots are almost a gimmie... if one or both the bengals and eagles win, we pretty much control our destiny..
