Great read. Thanks for sharing that. Hopefully JT gets into the HOF this year. He deserves it. I miss watching that guy play. He's on Sirius NFL radio some mornings, at least he was through the season, I think on Mondays. He was always pretty blunt and to the point too. I remember one caller complaining about a particular official (I forget who now) and he basically was about to lay into the ref, he stopped himself, and the host (Bob Papa) reminded him... Jason, you don't play in the league anymore. They can't fine you. Let loose. He did... Essentially saying man, that guy is horrible. He's the worst official I ever witnessed ref a game. If we knew we had him on Sundays, everyone was instantly pissed off. We knew what we were in for. So, to hear comments like that about Cam Cameron.. Doesn't surprise me one bit. Love it. Not surprised it was that bad with Cam Cam John Beck..
If that a-hole Saban would have just warmed up to being an NFL coach we could have done amazing things (oh and have a real GM).
yeah, I love his honest opinion on people. Perhaps we need him in the front office somehow He seems to have a good eye for things.
I'm actually kind of surprised we haven't to be honest. Maybe he's not interested at this point since his kids are still pretty young. I actually think he could have more of an impact than Marino (whatever his role actually is). Jason seems to be a bit more focused though at this point on his family, and some media obligations here and there. He had a brief stint on ESPN or NFLN I think, he was one day a week on Sirius NFL, but other than that he's been pretty quiet unless it's appearances and his foundation apparently. Hopefully at some point he can re-join the organization in some official capacity, but based on the way he speaks about his family and spending time with them, and maybe helping his boys get into football if they chose to, I think that's where his involvement with football will be, rather than with the Dolphins or the NFL in general at this point. Just speculation of course.
Best defensive player in Dolphins history, and top 3 Dolphins player of all time imo, Marino and Csonka/Taylor tied for 2nd because I can't choose one over the other.
What time will the HOF finalists be named? From what I read it is more likely that JT wait a year than be a shoe in. It comes down to voters (reporters) all over the nation. And frankly, JT played on some mediocre teams and I feel he may not get the recognition he deserves Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
