Actually this os great timing and interesting imo.

I think Grant sticks if he shows improvement as a returner this preseason. If he struggles he is gone.

Wjat are looking for from the #4Rb? Is Smith a special teams ace?

 

We argued this in another thread- there's no way Grant gets cut. They have designed multiple packages around his speed/ability and they want him in that Moreno type of role a lot more often.

I think we keep six, with the last spot going to Ford or Morgan.

 

I think after all the reports on Morgan and assuming he keeps it up when camp starts that he will get the nod. Then you can put Ford on the PS for a year. So many times though we see guys look like world beaters in OTA's and then put pads on and completely disappear. So if they do keep 6 we will have to wait and see how he looks once the pads go on.

 

It will definately be tough to crack the 53 this year if that's all you can do.

 

Grant is a more prolific college receiver than both Ford and Morgan. We will see what he can do in training camp.

This is a true statement. They just have to figure out how to use him. I don't think that his height is a real problem. In fact it may be an advantage in that he can get lost from defenders on the field.
