    Hey guys,

I don't know if you agree with me but a life without challenge and risk is not worth living.
What's the craziest thing you've ever done or the biggest risk you've ever taken?
A year ago, I gave $200 to a homeless person.

Here are crazy risk takers on wheels, OMG!

Beat up and robbed some smelly homeless dude of $200 while he shat himself, then felt bad and gave him 10 of it back for a handy.

    Two things:

    1. I have it on good authority that homeless man had shat himself before you got there. Hence him being smelly. So don't flatter yourself. Plus using an ether rag hardly classifies as "beating up."

    2. At least the homeless guy kept $10 and got a handy because you felt bad. Most guys would have gave one or the other but for you to give him $10 for the honor of giving him a handy was quite noble.

    1. The beating occurred after you he was passed out.

    2. What can I say I'm a compassionate guy. But I did leave his sample at the scene of the second craziest thing I've ever done, so he'll probably be receiving a call soon about an incident at the zoo.

    Define crazy.

Getting married might qualify, raising daughters, having a baby at 44.

Jumping (getting pushed) out of an airplane, repeatedly. Combat. Driving a car at 180. Scuba diving down to 284 ft. Surfing waves twice my height. Driving from Cali to HI in a 48 ft boat.

Telling a drunk pissed off Samoan that he probably couldn't kick my ***, but if he did he'd be too tired to stop me from boinking his Seestah. (that one hurt a little bit, but she was worth it)

Stealing cars ( that's how I ended up getting pushed out of airplanes)

Looking back now...HOW THE HELL DID I LIVE TO 51?

Yeah, out of all that I would have to say the craziest scariest thing I've ever done is raising daughters. Turned my hair grey that did! And I have a long way to go yet.

And giving hand jobs to homeless men does not help them. It just encourages them to remain homeless and panhandling instead of getting the help they really need.

Okay, I'll give a real life crazy story- and I'll say it wasn't me that did this in case any of you are the po-po and there's some crazy exemption to statute of limitations in Florida.

I was driving in South Miami. Crap, that isn't right. Some imaginary person that I don't know was driving through South Miami on the way home from a Miami Heat game...this was back before the fancy arena on the bay. Traffic was horrible and this make believe person got impatient, so he started cutting through side streets hoping to make his way north towards home. And it worked- the traffic completely disappeared...it was smooth sailing for the next several miles.

Anyway, my friends and I....err, I mean, some make believe person and his friends suddenly notice that the neighborhoods weren't very friendly looking anymore. It was the middle of the ghetto and we could see eyes watching us from porches everywhere- it did not feel like a safe place to be. So our imaginary car full of imaginary people picked up speed hoping to get out of there as quickly as possible, and we pulled up to an imaginary stop sign. The imaginary driver was a real life idiot because he came to a complete stop, and he didn't floor it when a small group of gangsters came jogging up to his window. They asked him to wait and like a fool, he paused just a second too long.

Well, there was some small talk at first before an offer to buy drugs came. When our imaginary friends said no, the gangsters started getting angry. The driver tried to inch forward but the group started crowding in front of the car, so the driver threw it into reverse and floored it. Now, this imaginary car may have been a 1984 Toyota Camry with around 250k miles, just guessing here, so it may not have been fast enough to outrun a group full of gangsters while going backwards. And as I looked forward to see if we were making any headway, I saw one of the dudes drawing a shiny semi automatic pistol from his waistline. Even though this is all pretend, that gun looked like the size of a bazooka when it's aimed directly at your head.

Err, scratch that "me" part....I wasn't there. An imaginary person saw all of that happening.

Well, the driver panicked and he did the only thing he could think of...he shifted into drive and floored it once again. You may be surprised to hear this but a 1984 Camry moving forward can be deceptively fast, and that imaginary driver turned and lined right up with the gun pointed his way. Then boom...we have a point blank gunshot while two gangsters go airborne....and that Camry just kept on chugging along.

The imaginary driver did hear the gangster with the gun screaming all kinds of obscenities as he tried to get up and the other thug somehow landed on his feet (and then fell down, got up and fell down twice more)....so we know in this make-believe story that nobody was killed. Probably not anyway, but it was a clear case of self-defense (which the imaginary driver found out years later while watching TV).

There was even a mark on the roof where the imaginary bullet skimmed right across...I guess it's hard to aim an imaginary gun when you're doing a front flip after planting your head into someone's hood. I wouldn't know, of course, just an educated guess.

That's not where this make believe story ends, but maybe I'll save the imaginary car chase and the make-believe police shootout for another time. Needless to say, the imaginary person in this story and his three friends had an adrenaline rush of a lifetime...and lived to tell the tale.

When my brother and I were kids, here's the one thing that happened from our childhood. We were both home. I just got done using the bathroom. I opened the door and I must've upsetted my brother. He said get over here! I said no! So I went to the towel rack. He tried to pull me away from it. I held onto the towel rack for dear life. We managed to rip the towel rack out of the wall. After that we put the towel rack back into it's place and went into our own bedrooms. Shortly thereafter our Dad had to use my bathroom. After he gently pulled on the towel to dry his hands the towel rack fell out of the wall. Our Dad was said what the hell!!! Both my Brother and I played dumb and said we didn't know anything about it. So Dad was like don't play dumb with me. I can't remember what happend after that though. This was like 25 years ago.

Now a days we just laugh about it now. Not back then though.

I had a similar imaginary story in a similar ghetto up in Pompano Beach that I cut through to get to 95, but I didn't get to run anybody over though. I made the mistake of forgetting to put my window up, so as I rolled through the stop sign I got punched in the face and had my sideview mirror ripped off.

Also had an incident outside a 7-11 store off 95 in Boynton Beach where 2 hospitable gentlemen "asked" for my wallet. I was lucky to get away from that one unscathed after knocking one out and stunning the other.

It's probably safer for a white guy to spend 20 minutes in Fallujah than 20 minutes in the hood, lol.

Sheesh you guys are *****es. My mom used to teach in the South Bronx....in the 70's....quite possibly the most coke-filled area in the US aside from Miami during that time period. Her students used to come over to her car at traffic lights or stop signs and offer her drugs. I'm assuming she said no but if she didn't that would explain a few things lol. She basically dealt with that a few times a week for a handful of years.

When I was 8-9 years old I took a lighter from my parents and proceeded to go out into the woods. Anyhow, at this point I realized that pine tree sap is flammable. I was having fun lighting the sap coming out of the trees on fire. It would pop, and crackle and throw sparks. Well, I found this one tree with massive amounts of sap coming out of it and put the lighter to it. Because it was so thick I really had to heat it up. Well, it reached it's flash point and *WHOOSH* next thing I know this 50 ft tall pine tree has fire shooting all the way up to the top of it.

All in all about 20 acres burned. It was on the news. No homes were touched, no people were hurt. No one knew it was me.

Another one...remember the game "ding-dong-ditch"? (No FinD, not that kind of ding-dong...lol) Remember "house egging"? Have you ever combined the two? I have. lol.....Knock on a door and run back a little ways. Person answers the door, fling eggs at them.

Ever been "Christmas treeing"? I have. Get a little kid, give him a flashlight. Have him walk up and down the street as if looking for something. Have him wave cars down and ask the driver if they've seen his little puppy. As the driver is distracted, tie one of the Christmas trees you found sitting on the curb after Christmas to his bumper. Watch and laugh as he starts driving away and the tree starts to smoke.

We used to steal Christmas decorations, Santa, Rudolph, and Frosty mostly. Then we'd clip letters from the newspaper and magazine and create ransom notes that read, "Leave a plate of cookies at the mailbox or Santa gets it!" and put it in their mailbox. We'd give them a day or two and then return the items.

Yeah, I could go on all day. I was an ******* as a kid.

Oh my gosh, we did all of those things too! One of my favorite memories was grabbing a bunch of barricades and road closed signs and detouring cars off the main road into our neighborhood one morning. Of course, our neighborhood was just three streets that didn't lead anywhere, so we literally had a traffic jam as cars turned in and drove around in circles. Then the police showed up and threatened to take us all to jail. Of course we denied everything.

As kids, we were also infatuated with throwing things out the bus window- paper, pennies or whatever we could find. I have no idea why kids are so freaking stupid. Anyway, we're sitting at a red light and we look out the window, and here's this massive biker with his girlfriend on the back, plus three more bikes right there in a little group. And one of us yell, "quick, throw something at them!" I didn't have the guts to do it so I just sat there while everyone else dug through their backpacks.

So the kid behind me is digging through his backpack and produces a peanut butter and jelly sandwich....and a few of us immediately said, "NOOOOOOOO!" He unwrapped it from the plastic and tossed it anyway though and hit the closest biker right on the front of the helmet and then it exploded all over his gas tank. The biker looked at us with pure hate and starts screaming right when the light turns green, and we start screaming for the bus driver to go. This guy gets off his bike and starts running towards the bus door right as we pull of and now we're all scared ****less....it's not funny at all anymore.

The bus takes off- we were at the light at Griffin and Flamingo where Char Hut is (or used to be back in the 90's anyway). We live off Hiatus about 6-7 miles away, and the bikes are directly behind us. Then we start thinking, "Holy ****...we are going to have to get off the bus and these guys are going to kill us." Thank God the kid who threw the sandwich got off one exit before I did. Since I was the biggest of all of us though, he said, "I'm getting off in your neighborhood instead...." And I'm like, "Oh hell no you're not...." We were terrified.

Anyway, we go all the way down Griffin to Hiatus, make our right turn, and as soon as we make our first stop, the bikers pull in front of the bus to cut us off and then try to get on. I seriously thought about opening the back door and making a run for it...that's how scared I was. Less than a minute later though, police show up from every direction; there must have been 20 Davie and BSO cop cars. And every single one of them have guns drawn sprinting towards the bus. To our surprise though, they arrested the bikers and never even questioned us. Our hearts were literally beating out of our chests in fear and worry....it was the last time we ever threw something out the window.

Looking back, I feel terrible about that one even though I didn't participate. Those bikers were completely in the right up until the point where they tried to force their way onto the bus- what we did was evil. That lead biker might have done some jail time.

    Exactly.
A person's true social status isn't determined until he's an adult. With that being said, every child in this country is afforded the opportunity of Education at every level if they so chooses to seize it and if they have nurturing, loving parents that help keep them on the straight and narrow and push them to achieve their goals. There's even an abundance of financial aid available to ensure everyone is afforded an opportunity. It doesn't matter what skin color you are or what neighborhood you came from, you can still get into college, post grad school, law school, and med school if your grades qualify.

One of my best friends and roommate from college is black. He now owns a successful dental practice. The difference between him and the aforementioned guys I ran into is that Marcus put in the work to get where he's at. Our system did not hold him back. What holds people back are the people themselves, namely the ones responsible for raising them. Kids of ecomically successful parents don't go to college and become doctors & attorneys bc they were handed a free pass bc of their economic status, as if they're the hot girls at the club that the bouncer whisk right in while everyone else waits their turn. They go to college bc they study hard and put in the work, thanks much in part to parents who both push them to become successful and spend a great deal of time establishing their intelligence foundation from a very early age (as opposed to kindergarten or elementary school marking the first time their kids are actually taught something).

    Ehhhh I dunno man.

I grew up in a very poor area of the Appalachians with a lot of poor white folks like myself. I was lucky, I had parents who supported me and always told me I could be whatever I wanted. They also made sure I worked hard and took nothing for granted, like you said.

However, I knew plenty of kids who weren't so lucky. Parents on drugs, didn't care, or simply didn't have a worldview where they could instill in their kids they could be anything. At best these kids end up working in coal mines, in manufacturing, or the service industry. All noble professions but not ones with secure financial futures. However most end up on drugs, dead, or perpetually on government assistance. It's a malaise that poverty causes, you can feel the depression in these areas and see it.

Education is not across the board either. My education in these areas did consist of a push for college but were often lacking in resources to truly prepare kids for it. Couple that with antiquated thinking on sexual education in many of these areas and no wonder you see so many teenage pregnancies (which makes the chances of future educational and financial success more difficult).

I have seen it far too often, kids come from families with all these issues above and end up being the same. They never really had a fair chance at home and the schools are too poorly funded to change it. Hell, I had family members laugh when I said I wanted to go to college. It angered me then but now I get it, they thought it was as crazy as me sprouting wings and flying away. Also, I have seen the "rich kids" get better opportunities and better private educations. If there were chances for us poor white folks to do the same I wish someone had of told me. Sure, around my junior year in high school, counselors started telling me about grants and scholarships for college but only because I elected to ask (it was not mandatory sessions every student had to take). Plus by that time many of my peers were either on drugs, dropouts, or parents. My high school freshman class was around 490, around 180 graduated.

By the way, I am a firm believer it is economic status which mostly determines future success as others here have said. Poverty breeds certain mindsets which breeds generational poverty. It is not a race thing, not a black or white thing, it's a dollars and cents thing. Some of us are just lucky, many are not. Educational reform is key, not all this race shaming and SJW nonsense. That will get us nowhere but more divided.

Sorry Boik, just felt compelled to share this. I don't mean it as political or to attack anyone (because I am not). Simply giving my experience as a way of informing, not attacking or saying my experience is resolute and thoughts to the contrary are wrong.
