I'm sure there would be other moving parts, maybe Gordon or Ariza to Milwaukee in that type of deal. I guess we will see what happens.

If Gordon is involved, then I'm against it. Trading Ariza wouldn't bother me as much, but I still don't see it. He's too tight with Harden and CP3. They were just working out together yesterday on Labor Day.

Ryan Anderson, non guaranteed contracts, and a pick. That's all we have to offer.

Is Fertitta related to the owners who recently sold the UFC?

Wade says he wants to compete for a championship... i dont know if he thinks Miami is in that position and if hes hinting at signing with cleveland or a team in the west

Really good deal if he keeps his upward progression and can become our sharpshooting lockdown guy.

It would be great if he could become an elite 3-and-D guy. He has great size and good athleticism. He and Winslow would be a great defensive corps. Between the two of them, you can pretty much defend any two positions you want.

EDIT: I hope this motivates Justise to get his. Some guys may get salty and try to move on.

Another asset that can be traded. They're really banking on having a bunch of those.

Is Bam Adebayo playing basketball anywhere? I want to see more of him being awesome. NBA off season has reached its low point.

    What a fragile child.

If I were a multi million dollar championship winning athlete in my prime, I wouldn't spend much time making duplicate twitter accounts to argue with average joe fan.

I'm surprised he didn't just say it was someone in his entourage and that they share his twitter account, or something like that.

Probably goes away a lot quicker just admitting it, especially with football ramping up.

Melo just expanded his list of teams he would waive the clause for....

    It's the Cavs.

For Kanter and McDermott. Not sure I see what the Knicks were going for.

NBA needs to sort out it's cap/tax situation. With the Warriors and now the Thunder this clearly wasn't the sort of thing the league had in mind.

As for the Thunder, that's a lot of talent but also a lot of ego, can they make it work?

Also, the Knicks.... can we just have a moment of silence for all Knicks fans right now?

    Horrendous management.

Cavs declined to offer the Brooklyn pick.

That said, this deal sucks. Kanter is a joke, they better hope he opts out or can be traded. McDermott is a poor mans Kyle Korver...can shoot (just not as well) and no defense. And Chicagos 2018 2nd. For a ****ing future HOFER?!?! Braindead idiots.

Would've had to get some salary back for that to work.

Wish Melo the best, and not sure if the Knicks will be relevant for another 5 years.

The Knicks could have taken back Shumpert at 10m, Fryes expiring at 8 and Jefferson at 2 and the Brooklyn pick.

Now if they cant move Kanter for a 1, theyd have been better off just hoping Melo opts out and losing him for nothing but cap space. #FireScottPerry

I hate to say I told you so on you being disappointed with the return. It might be even less than I thought they'd get, though. I can't believe they didn't even get a 1st round pick out of it.

The Thunder should be a fun team to watch, though. We'll see how these parts actually fit together, but that's a lot of talent.

This is something I never thought I would say, but I legitimately feel bad for you Knicks fans. As much as I dislike your team, you deserve better than the utterly incompetent management of this team.

I agree. Could be fun because its a good combo of defense, toughness and skill. May have to upgrade over roberson somehow

Really??? That's the deal you've been holding out for, lol. Kanter, a scrub, and a 2nd round pick. Wow.
