its hyperbole that millions upon millions of america are telling you that they are treated as second class citizens or oppressed? Again, you not wanting to confront the truth or talk about it does not make it any less true.

    Bingo!

So many people took the election personal. In doing so they have this irrational fear and hate of someone who has done NOTHING that they claim he has done.

    "Trump is a racist"---How so?
"Trump hates gays"---Really? What makes you say that?
"Trump hates immigrants"--- He's married to an immigrant...lol

And all the other made up whines are nothing more than emotional diatribe from weak minded people.

Lets see, settled within 3 weeks when caught not renting homes to african americans. Going to a ridiculous level to try and convict the central park 5 when they were innocent. Said a judge couldnt be impartial because he is mexican. Claim that mexicans are rapists. Hire Steve Bannon and Sebastian Gorka in his cabinet. Claim that the first African American born president is from Kenya and continuing to do so even when proven wrong. Use sharper language to criticize people peacefully protesting in the NFL than White Supremacists being violent in the streets of charlottesville chanting jews will not replace us. That is off the to of my head. Again, you being ignorant to his racism does not make him not racist.

This thread is hilarious. Chill people. CKap's like: "This s--t actually worked?'. Ha!! CKap? Seriously?

First off: The NFL and Football Sundays. etc is a time when people, for a little while, can escape the everyday BS, news, struggles, etc. This stuff just corrupts that beauty and brings it down to everyday BS. Yes, politics has always had it's place in sports history, but I don't think this is quite the same. A second or third string QB kneeling for the anthem? People really give a s--t? They're gong to put that much weight into what this guy does? It's the media and people getting offended that has made other goofs join suit. I mean, vets on this board and elsewhere getting offended by Ckap? Oh c'mon. It's f'ing Ckap. Why does anyone give a s--t? ... it's because of the stupid, ratings driven TMZ style media circle jerk that has ensued. That bs is all about lame news ratings. Best is, like I do with most problems, just ignore them, they'll go away..

Also; The NFL has become a billion dollar industry that doesn't want their recipe to be tainted.

Don't be so upset with what a second string to out of work QB has to say. I'm not really against Kap, but c'mon.
If it it was Tom "I wear maxi-pads" Brady, than maybe it would be a little different, but even then, it would still be stupid BS. Believe me, there are other reasons for why teams won't sign Kap.

Also, as this is such a gigantic business, if a FO truly believed CKap could bring them a SB, do you really think they wouldn't sign him because he knelt for the anthem? No way, he'd be signed in a sec. It's not like he's out drinking, doing drugs and punching out his girlfriends in elevators or something. Maybe, it's because of how he is in he locker room, maybe it's because of his work ethic or, as I thought when he was coming out, with his physical build and style of play, he's one good hit away from being done. it's a big investment. If anything, it's the distraction this causes. It's a distraction from the real football stuff!!

The teams should try to control this in-house, in private, out of sight of the media. The owners have the right to do so. It's their investment.

    So......uh.....carry on.

what exactly did i make up there? Also, the "left" starting it in your opinion means that one regional director of hillary's 2008 campaign and was immediately fired? Also, that doesnt mean Donald Trump then perpetuating that through as late as last year isnt racist.

And when the people you are hiring have proven white supremacist ideologies, ya, that makes you racist.

And no, calling someone a SOB is not racist, but having stronger words to people peacefully protesting and kneeling during the national anthem than KKK members marching through the street chanting jews will not replace us is based upon racial prejudices.

I see you conveniently forgot to mention that he was caught not renting to African Americans and settling within weeks.

you're actually correct, racist is the wrong word to use in that situation, but you still havent addressed that i just gave you multiple instances of him being racist when you claimed there was nothing. What do you have to say about him not renting to African Americans and repeatedly calling for the prosecution of the central park 5 when they were innocent?

It sounds as if you have no idea the facts of the "renting" thing and calling for the prosecution of the 5 teenagers isn't racism. lol... EVERYBODY believed they were guilty at the time. They were even CONVICTED.

Again, made up stuff so you can hate him. That is all. I mean, there are plenty of other things, REAL things, that you could say about Trump, but no, it's always "racism" et al.

holy **** you literally just close your eyes and plug your ears and then say that you cant see or hear anything that would make Trump a racist. The justice department had black people go try to rent from him and he said there were no vacancies, and then had white people go do the same thing and they were told there were vacancies. Does it get any more clear than that? And then to settle almost immediately?

Thats all well and good, except he still believes they are guilty. This is from an article from last year: "Wading into a racially-charged case from his past, Donald Trump indicated that the "Central Park Five" were guilty, despite being officially exonerated by DNA evidence decades after a notorious 1989 rape case." You not wanting to hear about racist and white supremacist tendencies doesnt mean they dont exist.

    So CAL
And just like that this thread proves what's wrong with most in this country, after reading everything I missed form yesterday about 5 pages, this is exactly the issue in this country. The country used to be about people having "different" opinions yet not segregating ones thoughts because they are not your own. As DAN said just because I do not agree with you or you do not agree with me does not make either one of us right. That is the beauty of this country and people forget to realize that, anyone at anytime is allowed to protest peacefully anything they have beliefs for anyone at anytime is allowed to express their thoughts and beliefs.

People need to stop playing poor me and taking stuff so seriously if I say the sky is blue we can argue if you thinks its green but ultimately your allowed to think what you want. For every one reason you think your right there's probably 4 other reasons to prove your wrong its a cycle. I just don't get how this country went from what it was too so many babies and entitled human beings it flabbergasts me to speak the truth, people used to work hard to get what they strived for, your tired of being poor then work to get out of it, stop waiting for someone else to solve your problem. If its so horrible here in the US to complain all the time im sure there are other places you can go no one is stopping you if you think its so bad here go try on another country for size and see how much better the US is, how long can someone cry wolf before we realize your crying is old, im talking to all you celebrities who cried you were gonna leave if and when trump got elected, last time I checked I haven't seen one of them give up their paychecks to leave this place. Its ok if people don't like trump not everyone liked Obama its your choice, but guess what your going to wake up for the next 3.5 years and he is still going to be your president so stop B**CHING and make the best out of it, arguing and dividing the citizens who ultimately make the country isn't solving your eager hate for the president. Everyone wants to complain but no one is willing to do anything about what you are complaining about but talk.

Um....if you don;t want Trump to be called racist then maybe it is time the people that voted for him start holding him responsible for the crap he says and does.

    - He said nothing about Tebow kneeling, but loses it when black people do it. Fact.
    - He talks about how these players don't respect veterans, yet he insults all POWs. What's the difference? The people doing the "disrespecting" are black. Not one thing Ckap or any kneeling player did is more disrespectful to veterans than Trump insulting POWs. Nothing. Fact.
    - He talks about how these players don't respect veterans, yet he insults a gold star family. The difference? The family isn't white. Fact.
    - When Neo Nazis and white nationalists march while screaming racist and anti semitic crap then mow people over with their car, Trump literally goes out of is way to minimize their hate, but if a black person quietly kneels during the anthem he goes on a Twitter tirade. Fact.
    - He took his marching orders from Steve Bannon. Fact.
    - He hired Sessions. Fact.

There seems to be this notion, by some, that a person is only racist if they declare they are racist and we cannot judge them by their words or actions.

I mean if a Trump supporter wants to boycott the NFL because of kneeling then fine, but they are hypocrites for voting for a guy that did way worse offenses to veterans by dodging the draft, insulting all POWs and going after a gold star family.

the other funny part in all of this is his supporters claiming to be for the constitution yet ignoring flagrant disregard for it. Also, the fact that so many people think that trump cares about anything other than himself cracks me up. It will all come back to haunt them eventually and it would be so great if it didnt mean such bad things for the future of this country.

So grateful we got Trump...sorry to see your pain, guess I can relate, felt that way the last 8 years...

Lack of education and real racists (Black and White) are a bummer.... and irresponsible judgements just continues this spiral of anger and separation leading nowhere as we've experienced for far to many many years. The sooner people realize this approach only creates more problems the sooner we will have another crack at maybe fixing things a bit. But I afraid we got a ways to go before or if ever parts of society Black and white wake up. Take yourself, Can you accept the Trump administration and give him a fair shot and actually see openly the efforts to improve peoples lives with jobs, education or is the hatred to overpowering. Its happening with or without you anyway....Christ you fed into the Democrats lies and false promises to help the Blacks for the last 40 years leading nowhere...
What do you think, the NFL players are creating a positive union to help whatever it is they are protesting about. Their cause my be valid but their approach more damaging...and just continues the insanity...

You know if you like someone and want to be close its probably a poor idea to slap em in the face, (for some reason that just doesn't work)

You consider yourself educated and yet I question whether or not you actually are aware of the fact negative, disrespectful hatred may not actually be the best way to go about the stuff you say you are so concerned about....actually that attitude seems to be what you yourself also despise...God forbid we take a couple years and try to work together as much as possible and see how it turns out...But that most likely won't happen and people continue the ignorant approach and wonder why it still doesn't work...
I mean if it wasn't so serious it would be comical...

Planet Earth = The Insane Asylum of the Universe.....

While I understand your point of give him a shot, no, i cant. When someone has proven who they are in the public spotlight for nearly 40 years, im not gonna give them a shot to prove that they are somehow now different. He has proven who he is, a morally reprehensible human being with no care for anyone but himself. Not saying this is what Trump has done, but if someone has been spouting anti-jew rhetoric in public for 40 years, he doesnt deserve a fair shot to prove he's someone different than that. This man at 71 years old is not changing.

People forget that Trump has a beef with the NFL that extends way back into the 80s because of his involvement (and subsequent failure) with the USFL.
    http://www.newsweek.com/trumps-nfl-fight-dates-back-failed-usfl-experiment-80s-jeff-pearlman-670843

What did we learn form this? That in the 80s he was petty, thin-skinned super ego, who achieved his goals much the same way a snake oil salesman would.

    Boy.....have times changed.....
