New York Newsday is reporting that Bengals Owner and Marvin Lewis are not seeing eye-to-eye. Apparently Lewis is not too happy with the re-acquisition of troubled Chris Henry. I guess that Lewis has no say in the decisions because when he was asked about Henry re-joining the team, he said "I'm not interested," and "I don't think it would be productive for our football team. You have to be a productive part to be an NFL player, and there's responsibilities to being an NFL player. It's a privilege, it's not a right. There's a lot that comes with being an NFL football player." The article states that Lewis could be on the outs if he and the owner continue to have disagreements like these. Frankly, I'm not sure how good of a HC Lewis is in the first place. He hasn't exactly done much in Cincinnati. I think he should go back into being a DC or LB coach like he did in Baltimore.
Now Marvin Lewis knows what it's like to be Jeff Ireland. Sounds like the trouble with that organization starts at the top.
Jeff Ireland stated that the Cowboys weren't interested in Tank Johnson, but Jerry Jones brought him in regardless. Made Ireland look like an idiot.
