based on qbr http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/quarterbackRating/year/2012 http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/quarterbackRating/year/2013 http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/quarterbackRating/year/2014 http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/quarterbackRating/year/2015 http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/quarterbackRating/year/2016 based on qtr, didn't even sniff top 10 your argument is of an opinion, and many posters have an opinion. time for a new qb
I doubt you'll go back and read what i wrote as i gave you a very specific timeframe. Also, why did you clutter up the mains with a new thread for this?
Stop with the accusations and being a nut job. Just have a conversation. Jesus. All year, you've complained that the oline has been a significant problem and cause for the ****ty offensive performance. Yet, when the oline is brought up as the reason Thill had problems you pretend like I'm manipulating things. It doesn't really make sense.
Top 10 means stats. It is not an eye test. It is stats. You cannot prove he is a top 10 qb. Therefore, it is justifiable after 6-7 years we get another qb. Thank you for playing If you cannot prove he is a top 10, stop saying top 10
How is Brady’s oline? Tannehill’s excuses are a long list. I have never seen a qb that requires so much Wentz and watson lost their Lts
No one has said he was top 10 quarterback. People HAVE said he has played like one at times in his career, including over the last 9 games of 2016 where he put up a 101 passer rating. Last season he was also top 10 in YPA and completion percentage. So while no one has said he IS a top 10 QB, we have said he COULD be and has been trending that way under Adam Gase. He finished the 2016 season 12th in passer rating. But you know, you do you.
you can't play like a top 10 once in a while. You have to be one or not. Fin D has said about 1,000 times RT is a top 10 qb and that no rookie next year will be even close
Why is is so important for some people to constantly attack our own team's quarterback? Is this a thing for fans of other teams too?
attack? he isn't a top 10. this franchise is starving for a qb that will be transcending. How many more years of excuses will there be? don't you want to win? or is being mediocre ok for you?
You don't like the lists you posted, I'm asking what you do like. What sources/lists/stats do you look to when evaluating?
No I meant passing yards was a mistake. the second post on QBR was more legit and if someone says they are top 10, what do they mean? QBR, TD's, INTs, yards? either way, Tannehill is not top 10, in any significant categories.
How about total QBR? 2012 18 2013 21 2014 15 2015 27 2016 24 - apparently the year he put it all together. where is he top 10? http://www.espn.com/nfl/qbr/_/year/2016
I'm not going round and round with you. I already told where he was Top 10. I'm not doing it again. Go back and read it. It was today. I will however, tell you that ESPN QBR is not the same thing as qb rating, because it is obvious you didn't know that.
passing yards was a mistake. I said that. My intention was to click on rating, which I ended up doing.
Tannehill isn't a top 10 QB. I have proven this. The posters will see this and they also will reject you shoving your mediocre qb down their throat. The offseason will play for itself. It will prove the Front Office will move on from him, as the contract protects them.
Take a long hard look in the mirror, buddy. Try not to puke. Not a single person agrees with you. Maybe it's you?
Last year, after the learning curve for the new offense, RT put up top 10 numbers. Is he a top 10 QB? I don't think anyone has ever said that and I don't think he can be labeled that. However, if his current trend continues for next season then yes, he will be a top 10 QB.
So you're just going to ask me a question, that I already answered, ignore that I answered it, and then continue making up bull****? This is why you're universally hated on here.
what does this mean? where did he finish? I would hope he had games based on that week being top 10 for that week. But the problem with him is he is not sustainable
