probably not surprising, and i know they still have the afc championship game to play next week, but all the nonsense calls yesterday is all you need to know about next week. The gillette time clock, the false start that was overturned to a neutral zone infraction lesding to a first down. It is just plain BS.
Here’s to hoping Jax don’t leave it in the hands of the officials and just comes out and delivers an immediate bruising to NE.
I think the Refs didn't allow that to happen, huh? BS game....I'm sick of the fact that the Pats get every. single. call. (or non-call).
I turned off the game right after the phantom PI call at the end of the 1st half. I knew that the refs were going to give them the game at that point. Which is funny, because up until that point I didn't see anything that blatant and was hoping the refs had changed their ways. I was wrong, obviously.
You see the ref go and congratulate Brady IMMEDIATELY after the game too? It’s gross. I used to laugh at people who said this game was rigged, now I laugh at myself for laughing at those people. It’s so evident. I’m hoping Philly crushes em. Refs won’t let that happen though and it’s inevitable that NE wins on behalf of the refs.
The penalty discrepancy was explained well, and the Jags played the largest part in their demise with poor clock management, offensive predictability, and veering defensively from what made them successful in the first half - man coverage - and opening the door for an easier comeback by playing zone in the 2nd half. Put the tin-foil hats away. There's no conspiracies, or rigging going on here, just pay close attention to whats going on on the field.
"I like that now when someone says “I love that iconic picture of Tom Brady sitting on the field in the Super Bowl like a sad toddler,” you’ll have to ask them to be more specific."
